《Game of World's Heroes》Question 13 - Are you proud of with what you achieve today?

My lips curl upward after sensing my breakthrough to the eleventh level of Qi condensation. A warm feeling surge inside my body, like a stream, Qi flowing following my blood. Each complete cycle makes me slightly stronger than before.
"I never felt a pleasant sensation like this one," I murmur to myself.
Dana -- who observe the whole process is flabbergasted after looking at my breakthrough, "Damn, I know you're a monster in cultivation, but I never expect to this scale."
"Didn't you read the data documents? The upper limit of creature is the thirteenth level of Qi condensation."
"I read it, but still that just a theoretical limit for flawless cultivator body. In the real world there no such body, besides that, there are many requirements to make sure it won't give side effects to the future cultivator," he talks like a machine gun, it is almost funny when looking at Dana agitated like this.
"Relax and take a breath," I hold my laughter and continue, "You know why I dare attempt this."
After hearing me talk, he takes a deep breath and says, "Your bloodline."
"Correct."
"Haaa," he sighed after hearing my confirmation and says, "I really envious with your bloodline right now."
"I know."
"Can't you be more humble," he's fuming after hears my boast.
"Let's say today is my day, anyway isn't your bloodline is quite powerful by itself."
"Yes, but compared to yours it very lacking," he says helplessly.
Looking at his dejected expression, I don't have the heart to continue my boasting and says, "As I always said there no--"
"There no useless bloodline, just incompetent user, I know" Dana cut my speech before I completed my sentence. He sighing then continue to talk, "Anyhow, it's better for a follower when the leader got stronger."

After that, we change to another topic conversation while eating the cookies.
As he said, my breakthrough is possible because of the Silvereen bloodline which granted the ability to shapeshifting. At first, it seems like a normal bloodline that can help me in infiltrating to the enemy base, but after mastering my ability for a few months, I realized its potentials aren't in espionage.
I can shapeshift to any creature that I understand how its body works not limited to humanoid type -- animal, magical beast, plants, any living creature.
When I change my appearance, my bloodline automatically changes the structure inside my body. After all, if it doesn't, I will die or at least got a severe backlash after my first try changes my body to a small animal. It is impossible for me to shapeshifting as a cat without changing what inside my body -- lung, heart, liver, every internal organ I have.
What makes it more incredible is it isn't just changing the size of my internal organ -- as long I understand how it works, I can change how part of my body work too. For example, when I change my nose like a dog nose, its appearance won't change much, but my smell sense will get enhanced several times this way.
I can do this all because I understand how the nose of dog works in the first place. If I don't, there is a high chance to become deformed because of the wrong body structure. Therefore, just a handful people dare to attempt this experiment, however after many failures and zero success there no one who wants to do that anymore.
All of those failures are recorded in history books, and that what makes me very careful when threading this thin line, I won't try anything rash if I still don't sure how severe is the side effect. The reason why I build this medical facility is to understand biology this world creature, not because I want to make a better society or whatever. I'm not an altruistic person, don't judge me.

Right now, I nearly understand everything about cultivation -- at least in Qi condensation stage after diagnosing many patients. I can change some structure of my body without changing my appearances, like right now, even if there no oddity in my appearance, my bloodstream, veins, and cells are fusing with my meridians, the perfect meridians.
That's right, my shapeshifting ability can change my meridians quality and quantity, to the upper limits of living creature. In other words, I can change my talents at will. After changing the talent, now I can absorb Qi around me as long the bloodline still active, without even need to concentrate like other cultivators.
Therefore, I train my bloodline every day until my subconscious can do it automatically. I still can't do with my subconscious but I can activate my bloodline for about 6 hours a day. Not so bad I think.
Anyway, after collecting many data and take a scientific conclusion from it, I find out the theoretical limit of cultivator before breaking through to Foundation establishment isn't the tenth level, but thirteenth. However, that has many requirements to make it work without damaging future potential -- quality and quantity of meridian, talent, body structure, and some other factors.
Luckily for me, most of it can be solved with my bloodline and the right understanding of biology.
I don't need to become the strongest but to protect my family from any possible danger, I need abilities that surpass most of cultivators.
This bloodline and this knowledge — are my advantage.
Vys: Damn right, I am.
Yan: I lost sparring with him, what to be proud here.
Rin: I don't understand.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
