《Holy Right : A Multiverse Occultist》Ch-18: The Angel Who Fought With Jacob
Advertisement
Jacob is a biblical hero who depicts the power and grace of God to change and renew.
Jacob was the grandson of Abraham, the first of the Hebrew patriarchs and God's prophet on earth.
Despite of being the grandson of such a great personality, Jacob is most commonly known in the Bible for his cunning and deceitful ways, especially towards his twin brother Esau.
Jacob also deceived his uncle Laban. In return for 20 years of service, Jacob tricked Laban into giving him his desired choice of wages- speckled and spotted sheeps.
By stripping back the branches of trees and placing them at the watering troughs where the strongest sheeps came to drink and mate he made them speckled and spotted and by the way of deceit fooled his uncle.
In Genesis 32, Jacob was on his way back home to Canaan with his small tribe of wives and children after a twenty year service under Laban.
And he was scared to death when he came to know that his estranged brother, Esau, was coming to meet him — with four hundred men.
This was no welcoming party; it was clearly an army coming to take his head.
Anxious for his very life, Jacob concocted a bribe and sent a caravan of gifts along with his women and children to his brother in hopes of pacifying his brother.
Trying to avoid complete annihilation, Jacob, understandably suffering insomnia, intended to spend the night alone, desperately praying.
But a strange man who showed up and wrestled with Jacob till daybreak rudely interrupted his plans.
At some point during this weird contest Jacob realized that what great figure he was wrestling with.
And when man decides that it was the time to end the match, Jacob refused to surrender to the man, but a mere divine touch on Jacob's hip dislocated his joint which forced the young man to surrender.
But Jacob still did released the man, when the man asked to be released, Jacob in significant pain, replied, "I will not let you go unless you bless me."
Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome." –Genesis 32:28
Although Jacob asked for his name, the man didn't give him one. So, Jacob came to the conclusion that the man he wrestled with was actually God.
Because this man knew everything about his past and he damaged his hip joint with a single touch.
Jacob's struggle with God is symbolic of his struggle with his inner self. After losing to the God in a wrestling match, Jacob received God's blessings and a new name– Israel. From then, he changed to a whole new person.
Jacob was no longer associated as the swindler and trickster of the past. He was a new creation, filled with God's blessings with a divine purpose to establish the Hebrew nation.

However, according to some religious texts, it was not God in his divine form with whom Jacob wrestled with; but rather with God in human form that is the Son of God, whereas some others believe that it was an Angel.
However, in the book 'Apocalypse of Zerubbabel', Micheal who has also been addressed as 'Metatron' said to Zerubbabel that he was the Angel who wrestled with Jacob.
One of the Seven Divine Authorities Roy obtained from Michael— , precisely comes from this mythical lore.
Jacob is the traditional ancestor of the Israelis, and the is a martial art that can triumph even over an Archangel.
This Divine Authority contains the power of the legends written in the Bible!
Roy was originally an incompetent magician, and he had never practiced martial arts, a full level in being a noob.
However, due to , he is already a martial arts grandmaster who has reached the extreme in the way of martial arts.
Because this is a unparalleled martial arts technique which can contend against even a True Archangel, it should not have been owned by mortals.
However, Campione are such an exaggerated existence.
Mortals have to work hard all their lives, taste all the ups and downs, shed blood and sweat to progress, to gain power but, they will lose against a Campione who has never worked that hard but has 'foolishness' and 'luck'.
What an irony.
Fortunately, the feat of killing the Gods is a miracle among miracles, and the number of people who have won this honor in tens of thousands of years are no more two dozens.
The magical energy that Roy poured into his legs gradually dissipated, and the shaking of the earth gradually stopped.
Mount Alma Torran, the hidden heart of ancient Jerusalem, collapsed and turned into fragments of shattered rocks and dust.
The archeologists of Mount Alma Torran groaned and climbed up from the wreckage full of fine sand and gravel, and began to search around in a panic.
Looking at their expressions it looked as if they were afraid that this inexplicable 'earthquake' would bring about the end to possible relics that could have been found into obliviation.
"This...t-th-this is..."
An archaeologist suddenly exclaimed. He used his tweezers with trembling hands to pick up a piece of pottery from a wrecked sand dune and placed it in front of his eyes to observe carefully.
"This is a relic of the early Jewish Kingdom, possibly of the United Kingdom of Israel. It is very likely that this place is the 'Solomon's Temple'!"
(T/L- United Kingdom of Israel was ruled by King Solomon, dated between 1047 BCE and 930 BCE.)
The exclamation of the archaeologist caused a commotion among others, and many others leaned in to look closely.
Even the doctoral student who had greeted Roy ran over excitedly.

"Aiwass, can you perceive any God-related items or Divine Tool here?"
Roy watched the archaeologists gathered together, discussing happily, he asked Aiwass who was floating behind him, invisible to others.
Campiones are not omnipotent, especially in terms of perception Godslayers are really ordinary.
They can only perceive Heritic Gods from a long distance, otherwise they need to look at the object closely to perceive the magical power in it.
If a Campione does not show his power, even if two Campione are sitting together for an afternoon tea, they will not know that the other person was of the same kind.
"I am not an Angel who is good at searching, and I have no specificity in perception either."
Although Aiwass said so, she paused for a while, then she pointed out the direction for Roy.
"...70 meters in that direction, there is a mysterious atmosphere underground. If you excavate carefully, it is estimated that you will have to dig for a long time."
"You really are a capable Angel, Aiwass."
Roy smiled approvingly at Aiwass, and then said:
"...I don't have to dig, I am a Campione, a godslayer, a demon king with no taboos, and to me, the historical relics of mortals have no value. Either it is ordinary people or mage associations, all I have to do is to––"
Roy walked seventy meters forward in accordance with Aiwass direction. He raised his fist, activated his Divine Authority— and then punched again at the shattered Mount Alma Torran's ruins.
"Boom--------"
The fine sand turned into tiny dust particles and sputtered to a height of 100 meters. Cracks appeared on the ground under Roy's feet.
Then the ground collapsed again with a rumbling sound, creating a deep crater in the process.
The cheering archaeologists all stopped abruptly. Everyone swallowed and looked at the Roy, dumbfounded, as if looking at a demon.
As ordinary people, seeing or even knowing about magic will shock them.
Let alone seeing a Campione, the 'devil king on earth'. The display of power is far beyond the imagination of ordinary people and makes their nerves tremble.
Only then did they know that the 'earthquake' just now was not a natural phenomenon at all, it was most likely caused by this terrifying young boy.
Roy ignored the horrified eyes of the people around him. He squatted down and picked up a handful of sand in his left hand.
As the sand slipped through between his fingers, a simple ring was left on Roy's palm.
"Bronze Ring? A Divine Tool?"
"Is it the legendary ring of King Solomon, the ring that variously gave Solomon the power to command demons, jinns and spirits. The ring which symbolizes wisdom? The ?"
"In the mysterious book on demonology, 'The Lesser Key of Solomon', it is recorded that King Solomon was an excellent demon summoner. Maybe it's true?"
Roy probed the ring in his left hand. It was indeed a god-related artifact.
But not everyone can use this magical tool, especially this magical tool that was owned by Wise King Solomon.
Roy is not Solomon, so it is impossible to use it. However, this magical tool has a great relationship with Solomon. So, this ring can be used as a material for magic rituals.
Roy directly slipped the into his pocket. Some of the archaeologists opened their mouths, wanting to say that this is a valuable cultural relic and they hoped that he can put it back.
However, thinking of Roy's previous performance that far beyond scientific, all of them honestly closed their mouth.
Only one of these people showed a look of shock and awe. He felt the extremely exaggerate magic energy that Roy exuded when he used his Divine Authority before, he boldly guessed his identity.
"I... what can I do for you? 'King'!"
The person who recognized Roy's identity hesitated, entangled for a while before tremblingly stepped forward, lowered his head and said respectfully.
Although it is dangerous to walk into the sight of a godslayer, it also represents an opportunity.
Other archaeologists were surprised to see their funders suddenly become so humble and secretly guessed whether this young man was a big man?
No, how can someone with such power, like a monster, cannot be a big shot!
"Mage?"
Although Roy was an incompetent magician, he could still recognize the other party's identity at a glance when the other party did not dare to hide his identity and actively released his own magic power.
"Yes, 'king', I am from England..."
"Stop, I'm not interested in which country and association of magician you are from. I have only two commands."
"Prepare a set of clean new clothes for me and prepare a ticket for me to Rome, Italy. As for the identity certificate, you can handle it yourself."
Although he had never seen the mage in front of him before, Roy commanded as if he was facing his faithful servant.
The mage also felt that this was a matter of course. Since the 'king' ordered, he didn't dare to say more and quickly left to executed Roy's orders.
...
Before long, a special plane took off from Jerusalem, Israel, and took the only guest to Rome, Italy.
