I awoke by a bell and checked the screen. The time was 8.00 am and it meant that I slept in nine hours. It was Petty Officer Lisa Woods of Star Fleet. She had to have an important report. I called after the door. The door opened automatically.

Lisa entered and said, "Ma'am, we found a civilization. The planet has just a big ocean."

"Are there some lives?" I wondered.

"I don't know, so it was a scientist who sent me to you, ma'am."

"What the fuck? Why did a scientist send you to me?"

Lisa stammered that she didn't know why. We went to the bridge. The bridge team didn't seem to care about me. I clicked on the sound button.

"Who the fuck sent her to me?" I wondered.

"It was me, ma'am!" the young and male scientist said.

"And why did you send her to me?"

"We UEBS members are not UEDF, ma'am."

"We UEBS members are not UEDF, ma'am? Bullshit! Yes, we are members of UERH! I don't want to see that somebody will send an unaware person to me. If you will be warned three times, I will send you to the training hall. Even it applies to everyone on board. Do you understand?"

"Aye, aye, ma'am!" everyone in the bridge said.

I clicked on the sound button. We were in forty-eight light-years from the Solar System. I went to the young scientist and asked about the lives. He explained nervously that there were any beings, which breathed both underwater and air. I clicked on the area and it was my discipline. There were many used places on the planet and I found a rare and unused place.

"Sorry, I didn't see that the scientist sent PO Lisa Woods to you, ma'am," Malin said.

"No worries, you have to watch our crew this time," I said.

"Will you meet the beings? If something would go wrong, ma'am?"

"Don't think negatively! I will meet them. You look tired. Lieutenant Commander Robert Smith of Medical Corps will take over my command."

Malin saluted and I returned it. I clicked on the sound button and gave some news to the crew. The ship had a hangar. I went to the hangar. My crew was waiting for me. The starfighter was a transport.

We were eight members. The members were me, Ava, Andrew, Sophia, Hana, Adolfo, Lieutenant Clark Jackson of Star Fleet, and XRN-1. XenoRapid Number 1 or XRN-1 was a female robot, which was programmed to obey just me. We had the same rank from different armed forces. It was very complicated to have the same rank. We were in order.

I noticed that Clark and Adolfo became nervous before us women. We flew from the Nyx to the oceanic planet. XRN-1 said that we could breath in a fresh air. It was good that we skipped the helmet. We had to wear them because we would be under ocean. The starfighter also was a submarine boat.

We dove down and there were mass rare fishes. XRN-1 warned us that something moved very fast. We were ready to fight. Something knocked the starfighter's door just once. We saw through the window that it was a green ichthyo man with two fins and two white eyes. The man tried to communicate with us and then he swam slowly.

I believed that the ichthyo man wanted us to follow him and we followed him. We found an underwater civilization. The green ichthyo man stayed. We waited for him, so he talked with any guards and then he signaled us to follow the guards. The guards leaded us on a long way. There was a big castle and it showed that the civilization was a kingdom.

The ichthyo people kept to build a spaceport. Their technological development has been slow. XRN-1 said that the ichthyo people didn't seem to know something about the space and I agreed. We followed the guards to the castle. The water disappeared and we were watched by the heavy guards. Yes, it was best that we would go out.

I opened the door. We raised the hands over heads when we showed ourselves. The guards watched us with their strange rifle. We were very quiet. Somebody came slowly to us. It was a gold ichthyo man.

The man had to be a king. He looked at us. I never have met the royals before. The king began to communicate.

"I-I amm Kiinngg Nyyrruunn Zaammiiuumm offff Naavvssuuttuu. Whhaatt arree yoouu?" the king asked in our modern language.

"We are humans from the planet Earth or Terra and one of us is a machine. I am Captain Mara Tan of Star Fleet, Your Majesty," I said.

"Eaarrtthh? Wee trriieedd toooo coonnttaacctt thhee otthherr beeiingg, buutt wee gaavvee upppp thhiss tiimmee."

"Same here. We met the hostile beings. Now we are only here to explore, Your Majesty!"

"Guuaarrddss, reelleeaassee thheemm nooww!"

The guards took away their rifle obediently. We moved down the hands. Nyrun was close to ask. A gold ichthyo girl and a blue ichthyo boy ran to us. The gold ichthyo girl seemed curious about us while the blue ichthyo boy seemed shy before us. They had to be the royal children and Nyrun's kids.

"Will you stay with us?" the curious princess asked.

"Naaggiioonn!" Nyrun said angrily.

"Your Majesty, let me answer. No, we won't stay, so we are here to explore, Your Highness. Yes, we are busy. XRN-1 will answer your questions," I said.

I commanded XRN-1 to tell carefully to the royal kids and then they left us. We shared our information about our cultures. I learned about new things. This planet called for Bomdido. They had over eighty kingdoms and the people called for the numanicans. The kingdoms had an interaquatic organization like the United Nations.

Nyrun's great-great-grandfather was a founder of the organization and the first leader. The organization named for the Empire of Bomdido. Their political system was different. I was happy to hear that the women got the rights. Every fifth year one of the kings or queens was the most elected by the numanicans. The organization didn't have any powers without they collaborated just with each other.

Jiom, the king of Hytua was the current leader. He criticized that the technological development was slow and I agreed. I asked about the reason. The top scientists tried to develop the technology. They claimed each other about the economic crash. There was another reason, the numanicans had a weak immune system.

The Kingdom of Navsutu had the biggest construction technology and the best armed forces. Nyrun wanted to tell about Fiokilos, the hidden civilization. Some numanicans said that it was only an old myth while some claimed that it was true. Nyrun didn't know himself if it was true. It was his ancestor, the legendary king who found Fiokilos. I thought quietly that it sounded exactly like Atlantis and we found it.

There was a legend of Fiokilos. It told that the rare species had the fast technology. They could develop the powerful matters too. There were mass theories of the hidden civilization. They were very overjoyed. The legend would become soon a myth.

A female orange numanican soldier ran to us when we finished our meet and gave the message to Nyrun. He read the message and then he asked to us if I knew about the big thing in the space. I explained that it was our ship. The soldier became surprised to see us humans.

"Your ship in the sky? What are you for something?" the soldier wondered.

"We are humans. I am Captain Mara Tan of Star Fleet," I said.

"Captain? I never have seen you before. And I forbid you to be Captain."

Nyrun interrupted the soldier and said, "SEERRGGEEAANNTT ADDOOPPEEAA, THHAATT'SS ENNOOUUGGHH!"

"Sorry, sir!" Adopea said.

"Teellll too thhee assttrroonnoommiiccaall obbsseerrvvaattoorryy thhaatt itt iss thhee frriieennddllyy shhiipp."

Adopea left us instantly and XRN-1 returned.

"Foorrggiivvee heerr, Caappttaaiinn Maarraa. Shhee haadd haarrdd too trruusstt yoouuu," Nyrun said.

"Yes, I understand what you mean, so we humans are used to the bad situation, Your Majesty," I said.

The male orange numanican soldier ran to us and gave a message to Nyrun. It was quiet. Nyrun was very skeptic. He asked to us if we were interested in politics. Some of us were interested in politics and diplomacy. Nyrun asked if we wanted to follow the numanicans to the Parliament of the Empire of Numanicans.

"Your Grace! We are here to explore," I said.

"Buutt thhee nuummiiccaannss woonnddeerr allll thhee tiimmee iff wee arree alloonnee," Nyrun said.

"We understand, so we also wondered if we were alone, Your Majesty."

"Whhaatt wiillll wee saayy? Thhaatt yoouu doonn'tt waanntt too seeee thheemm?"

I explained carefully that we didn't have much to explore this planet because we were the curious species, even we just met. Nyrun understood what we meant. Clark asked me if he might follow and I nodded. He followed the soldier.

Adopea returned fast and said, "The astronomers thanked the King for the information."

"Yeess, yoouu caann bee thheessee sppeecciieess' guuiiddee, Seerreeaanntt Addooppeeaa," Nyrun said.

"Your Grace! Why would I be their guide?"

"Noo, thheeyy arree ouurr guueessttss."

"Your Grace! We don't trust them! What if they are spies?"

"We know how it feels to not trust the strangers. You don't need to trust us. We are here to only explore," I said.

I told the whole story about the hostile beings on our home planet. Nyrun and Adopea became lost to hear about our tragic story. Yes, Adopea was willing to guide us. We wore the helmets and our tanks could produce the water to the oxygen. Adopea leaded us around. The citizens were attentive of us like strange beings and reminded like the poor medieval people.

We visited the aquatic museum of Navsutu. The water disappeared, so we took off the helmets. There were many antique weapons and a few unique dresses. I found a strange device and asked about it. The three female employees of the national museum came to us. They were different from the poor citizens.

"My name is Jaqincs fon Xunadin. I am a numanican historian," the first employee said.

"My name is Neqeun fon Wengox. I am an archaeologist and a mineralogist," the second employee said.

"My name is Jynaxos fon Axenijitow. I am a curator of the aquatic museum," the third employee said.

I noticed that the clothes were very expensive because it meant that the employees were nobles.

"I am Captain Mara Tan of Star Fleet. Even I am a professor of virtual archaeology and military advanced technology," I said.

Adopea became impressed about my degrees. She never has heard about them and I explained to her. I presented my team for the employees. Jaqincs replied to my question that it was Nyrun's ancestor who found the device in Fiokilos. The technicians and the archaeologists tried to solve the question. Some gave up while some didn't do it.

I picked up my scanner and my laptop computer from my bag. Jynaxos asked about it and I told everything. Adopea and the employees became surprised to hear about my computer. I asked to the employees if I might scan the old device. They discussed about the things first, suddenly they said yes. Jynaxos went to the box and opened, so I scanned the old device.

The computer showed that the device was over six thousand years old and needed the energetic iciness. I told about the rare place like I found. The place had to be Fiokilos and it was in the south pole. Jaqincs remembered the south pole. According to the numanicans, it was deadly cold in the center. They tested to move the vehicle or to wear the warm dress, thought they never arrived at that place.

The computer showed that the weather was only minus ten degree Celsius or minus eighteen degree Fahrenheit in the south pole. Jynaxos asked about it and I explained. Jaqincs said that the problem was that the cold degree increased and I asked about it. The numanicans came to the south pole, suddenly the cold degree began to increase. I suspected that it was very specific to the iciness. Yeah, I wondered about a thing.

"Did your King's ancestor come to the south pole, Jaqincs?" I asked.

"Yes, according to his report, it was a normal degree in the south pole, but he never came back latest he brought the device here," Jaqincs said.

"Like I suspected."

I explained that Fiokilos needed the old device. The device had an energetic iciness. Adopea and the employees became surprised. I asked to them if they were thinking of leaving the device back. According to the law, the old things had to stay in the museum. I told about our law.

Many numanicans thought that they would leave the device back. The experts also thought that the law would change. I told about the same situation on our planet. Adopea and the employees asked about our planet. We had a long list to tell. They never have heard about the new things before.

I asked to the employees about the museum. The museum was interaquatic famous due to the device and the eldest. They guided us around in the museum tour. There were many things like they told us about. I thought that the museum was very good. My team also thought that the old artifacts were exciting.
