《The Demon King》Chapter 17

While Shirou and Kurono got to learning, Rias was sitting with her group far from the village and near the forest.
She had just heard news about her pawn after weeks of nothing. It wasn't positive but it was something, so her mood felt better.
She was the Heir of the Gremory. She was like a princess. Everything in life had been easy as she had been blessed since birth.
The only trouble in her life was the marriage that she didn't ask for. She had been gathering strong individuals for that purpose and chosen Issei when he had died to an attack.
It had been unexpected. She had never thought that the booster gear would end up in her group.
It happened and it gave her hope. They were just preparing for the fight to cancel the agreement when this phenomenon took place.
Entering to this new world was very stressful and she regretted never training seriously in her life. She had potential for power and all of her subordinates were the same.
But none of them had gone through any serious training montage. Now that she needed it, none of them had any idea of how to train properly.
They were lucky that Asia was also with them so the healing wasn't an issue. The world was too dangerous and they had understood the hard way.
Before even going against the Apostles, the group had almost been annihilated by a dragon. The dragon that would have been one shotted by the enemy almost killed them.
Regardless of the danger the group decided to train and find information to solve their problem while hoping for Sirzechs to find them.
It was really worrying that they hadn't been located after a week already. The group had decided to put that thought at the back of their mind since it was too depressing and it might cripple them.

For now, they just focused on surviving and saving their friend.
Issei Hyoudou had been human, a perverted human. Now he was a perverted devil, an Oppai devil. He was stupid. He was reckless. He was nosy. But in the end he was a good person and a good friend.
Rias had felt him endure the pain by keep in mind their existence and it only made her feel worse. He depended on them.
He was waiting for them but they could do nothing. They were too weak to even try.
"Buchou, do we ask for his help?" Akeno Himejima asked as she stood beside her friend and King.
Akeno was a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, very long black hair and violet eyes. Her hair was usually tied in a long ponytail, reaching all the way down to her legs with two strands sticking out from the top and sloping backward, with an orange ribbon keeping it in place.
Like most of the girls at Kuoh Academy, she wore the customary Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform, along with black calf-length socks.
"He was very strong. I could feel the aura of the Holy sword on him." Yuuto Kiba added as he remembered the interaction with Shirou.
Yuuto was a handsome young man with short blond hair, blue eyes and a mole underneath his left eye.
He wore the Kuoh Academy boys' school uniform, which consisted of a black blazer with white accents over a white, long-sleeved dress shirt with a black ribbon on the collar, matching black pants, and brown dress shoes.
He hadn't talked with Shirou but the aura was enough. He could tell that the other side could defeat him with ease. There was just that overpowering feeling from him.
His gaze was sharp and confident. It felt like he would have cut them down if they had stepped out of line.

Plus the feeling of the holy sword was very strong on him, stronger than what he remembered from his experimental days.
"The large guy was also very strong. They reeked of blood." Koneko muttered in a dull tone to give her input on the situation. She had never gotten along with Issei but that didn't mean she wanted him to get tortured.
She cared for the others and slightly bit for him as well. She was very much stressed out by the situation and was considering drastic actions.
"There is a war coming and death will spread. We will not be spared from it because of our nature. We need to resist the enemies, meaning we need a backer in this world.
Shirou didn't tell anyone about it because it will only cause him and us problems. He seemed like a smart person, I believe he intends to scout the region and make some connections before the enemy arrives.
They will arrive within a month, so we don't have much time. We need to train our powers and add to our group to successfully save Issei and survive this world.
We will work with Shirou for now and see how it goes. We haven't seen him in action and are relying in feelings and such to form these opinions." Rias started talking after taking a heavy breath and looked at the group.
She had a calm expression on her face and some of her confidence was back. She had been acting lost after losing contact with Issei.
He wasn't a lover but an important friend that had wormed his way into becoming important.
"How do you intend to do that? Should we follow him around or spar with him?" Akeno questioned as she also agreed with her thoughts. Shirou looked like a very serious person, not someone that was affected by appearance.
"If Koneko and Yuuto think he is really strong, then fighting him will be useful for us. He said he will talk to us, so we will wait for him to come to us and see."
"What do you think he wants?"
"He mentioned the war and similar goals, so it is quite obvious. He wants us to work together with him. Maybe he is going to offer us help in training, I felt that he was judging us." Rias muttered and Yuuto followed by Koneko agreed with her assessment.
"What should we do now?" Akeno asked as she looked at Rias who was holding Asia, the sad girl had been hit the worst since Issei was the closest to her heart.
"Let's hunt down the Wyvern that was sighted nearby. We need practice against strong foes and anything weaker than rank 4 isn't worth the effort." Rias replied as she got up from the boulder she had been sitting on and wings appeared behind her to fly towards their target who seemed to have taken residence in the mountain range nearby.

Trickster's Tale
Be careful when demanding reparations from gods. They rarely own up to their mistakes. Due to a goddess's shortsighted error, Perry finds himself transported to a distant Universe with new proportions and a different identity. Instead of cowering before the deity, he demands she opens a portal home or provides reparations for him and his bereaved family. Unfortunately, standing up for himself doesn't earn Perry respect. Instead, she curses him with cowardice, limiting his combat and magical potential. Little does the goddess know that nothing can stand in the way of Perry's sheer will. If brute strength and arcane might won't get him the justice he desires, wit and creativity will. Perry's first target? A goblin shaman. Then, the world. And so begins, the bard's ballad. Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.

Caged within the Ravencourt
A short and pain-filled life was all that Melissa was given, and it wasn't until falling asleep for the last time that she was finally given something more. Waking up in a healthy and young body, and faced with an unfamiliar culture and even more inexplicable sights, Melissa had to adapt to her life new as Kalie, the third Princess of the Shattered Isles of Cerith. It didn't take long for Kalie to realize that even though she finds herself in a strange world, she may just be one of the strangest parts of it. As Kalie comes to terms with her bizarre new life, she finds herself set in the sights of the powerful new king of a far off land. Eventually finding herself taken away to be Caged within the Ravencourt. This story is world spanning, and slow to start. It's my intention to build up towards the epic story I'm hoping to tell. Don’t expect over the top powers, just smart characters using magic interestingly. And, like my other stories, the focus is on the characters themselves, less so the world they’re in. Enjoy!

New World to Experience
YGGDRASIL was ending, and Apoc was hoping to see the game as it ends. And fortunately, he did. But he was transported into a world that is back in the past, yet seemingly not the same world, and coincidentally in an island that was cut off from the mainlands. What should he do? Find a way back home? Or stay and change the flow of time? A little note here; this story is a bit rushed. Considered that it is old and I have little time to revise the story whole. But unless you dont mind it and decided to just read it for the sakes out of it, then be my guest... Not in a offending way obviously.
