Takumi laid on his bed, he couldn't stop thinking about what happened yesterday…
- - * - -
"T- Ten Million?" Takumi mumbled.
Takumi's eyes widened up,
he suddenly remembered...
He was serious about that promise?
Kirakuma slowly walked up to him, as he grabbed him by his cheeks, pulling Takumi's face in front of his own.
"Hehehe… You should know exactly what happens when you don't pay that-"
- - * - -
How could he have forgotten that promise…
The door opened up as Takumi noticed the others walk up to him. He just realized that the earrings they had on were glowing pretty bright because of the sun. Iit looked pretty cool, he thought.
"So… What are we planning to do?" Nokado asked, looking at Takumi and the others.
"We should definitely wait him up until he komes." Rikishi said.
"No, we should search for them, wait will do nothing good." Kuruka replied.
"But what would happen if he entered the Orphan while we are searching for him in the city?" Rikishi replied back.
"Damn it… They obviously have the advantage." Nokado mumbled.
"We could split up?" Tado quietly mumbled.
"No, that is probably what they expect we do..." Takumi said, as he leaned onto the drawer.
Something tells him that if they choose the wrong path now…
It will hurt them forever…
The others turned to Takumi.
"So… Should we search or stay?" Rikishi asked.
Takumi took a huge breath.
"We should do both..." Takumi said.
The others looked at him with this confused expression on their face.
"Oi, this is no time to joke around, Takumi." Nokado said.
Takumi smirked, looking at them.
"Who said I was joking?" Takumi followed up…

Kirakuma slowly opened the door to one office, the office door had printed the name 'Akurai Ishido'.
"Father, I have arrived." Kirakuma said.
"Good… You have arrived just on time..." Akurai said, as he grinned.
His grin showed four sharpened teeth in his mouth, it made him look like a vampire.
"...I have just finished the experiment, and as you can see, the results are positive." Akurai explained.
Kirakuma smirked.
"This means everything is ready, right?" Kirakuma asked.
"Almost ready..." Akurai said, pointing to his teeth.
"... As you can see its positive, you will have to come with your part of the promise, which is your 'Loyalty Tattoo'." Akurai said, grinning.

Kirakuma let out a sigh, as he followed up with a smirk.
"You're right..." Kirakuma followed up, slowly pulling up his sleeve.
Akurai slowly leaned to his arm.
"This might hurt-" Akurai said, taking a huge bite on his arm.
Kirakuma's eyes widened up, as he realized it hurted more than he had imagined it would. After a while Akurai let go of his arm, as drops of blood had dripped into his mouth and hands.
"Good… They just work like how I wanted them to be, dangerous and hidden weapons." Akurai said, licking the blood off his hand.
Akurai looked at the four-dotted scar on his arm Akurai had created. Kirakuma looked up to Akurai.
"When will I be sharpening my teeth?" Kirakuma asked.
Akurai smirked, as he grabbed a towel and wiped the remaining drops of blood.
"We'll have to do that later…" Akurai replied.
"...Because you're heading back." Akurai followed up.
Kirakuma's eyes widened up.
"Already?" Kirakuma asked.
"Of course you have to go, at least before they contact the police." Akurai explained.
"Well, what about your promise?" Kirakuma followed up.
"You promised that you would never let me kill anyone until I am officially an member, but now I have proof." Kirakuma said, pointing to the bite-scars on his arm.
Akurai stood up, drawing unholstering an M1911 and throwing it his way. Kirakuma caught it with his hand.
"Fine, now get all six of them to me… Oh and, don't forget your teeth." Akurai said, grinning.
"You said it, Mr. Ishido." Kirakuma replied, walking off.
Akurai sat back down on his office chair.
''Sorry, Matteo, I promised I wouldn't turn your sons into weapons… Yet it all ended up like this...''

Akurai tried tackling, but the man jumped up, kicking him in his stomach. Akurai's eyes widened up, as he fell on his knees. Akurai quickly looked up, only to notice a dagger in front of his face.
"You lost… " The man mumbled.
Akurai's eyes widened up, as he followed up with a smirk.
"Yeah… I guess so." Akurai replied.
"This means you lost the bet, and it makes you instantly lose your promise." The man said, as he reached out his hand.
Akurai grabbed his hand.
"Not quite true-" Akurai said-
A grin followed up, as he slammed the dagger out of the man's knife. He grabbed the dagger and swung with it.

"-Not until I give up!" Akurai followed up.
Blood spattered onto the knife.
Akurai's eyes widened up.
"H- How did you-"
The man had the knife between his teeth. Akurai noticed four of his teeth were really sharp. The man spinned kicked Akurai away, making him let go of the knife and fall down. When Akurai tried to stand up, the man laid his leg on his neck. Akurai's eyes widened up. The man pulled the knife out of his mouth.
"Then I tell you know to give up." The man said, grinning.
Akurai was still shocked.
"Wait… That teeth, don't tell me you… Joined the Ishido mafia too." Akurai asked, in shock.
"Yes… I did…" The man said.
"...But not for long… I found myself a beautiful wife and plan on to have a total of Three children." The man said, smiling.
Akurai's eyes widened up as the man reached out his hand, again. Akurai followed up with a grin.
"I Guess I am becoming an Uncle… But why the teeth?" Akurai asked.
Akurai grabbed his hand, as the man helped him stand up.
"It's a very historical thing of our family. Our strongest members would get vampire-like teeth and give their victims bike marks, the police would then always know who we were. You need a lot of honor and insanity for it..." The man explained, he pulled up his lips to show his teeth better.
"...You will be thrown into a room with handcuffs, and you need to beat four criminals with only your mouth, thus why the technique of catching the knife with your teeth. It works like a 'contract', in its own way." The man followed up, smirking.
Akurai was honored and shocked at the same time.
"T- Thats awesome!" Akurai said.
"I knew my Brother, Mateo, was a perfect vessel for the clan." Akurai followed up, proudly.
"Exact the opposite of you." The man replied, starting to laugh.
Akurai let out a sigh of relief.
"All right, enough training, let's head back home for now." Akurai said.
Akurai was walking, but Matteo was not moving. Akurai turned to Matteo.
"Matteo- ?!" Akurai's eyes widened up.
Matteo was crying.
"I forgot to tell you… The only way to 'sign' your 'contract'..." Matteo said, wiping his tears.
"What?" Akurai asked.
It was silent for a long while.
"...Nevermind… Let's go." Matteo said.
Akurai shrugged, and they both walked away.
- - - - -
''If you had told me earlier… This would have never happened.''
- - - - -
Akurai yawned, as he walked up to the door, tired. A note was on the door, which said: 'Ishido Family Invitation'. Akurai grabbed the piece of paper and slowly ripped it open, slowly starting to read it…
"For every Ishido Family. Unfortunately, two of our loved ones died yesterday… Those two were the Mother and Father of-..." Akurai was reading it until he suddenly stopped.
Akurai's eyes widened up.
"T- This must be fake... -!" Akurai said, as he suddenly realized…
Matteo…
W- What did you do in god's sake...
- - - - -
''I hated your guts since that day… You left your entire family and ran away to Japan… But I came back, for you...''
- - - - -
Akurai slowly opened the door, as he saw Mateo sit down on the floor.
"Matteo… I am sorry for your loss." Akurai mumbled.
Akurai slowly pulled out his silenced pistol.
"You're here for revenge, aren't you?" Matteo said.
Akurai's eyes widened up. Matteo stood up, as he turned to him.
"Matteo..." Akurai mumbled.
"It's okay-" "...You got it wrong." Akurai interrupted Matteo.
"This isn't about revenge… It is about insanity." Akurai said, grinning.
Matteo's eyes widened up.
"...I am here for my 'contract'." Akurai said, rising his pistol into Mateo's face.
"O- Of course…" Mateo mumbled.
"...But one thing." Mateo said, looking up.
Akurai's eyes widened up, as he saw Mateo smiling.
"Take care of my children, okay?" Mateo said, closing his eyes.
"Y-... Y- Yes." Akurai mumbled, as he started to tear up-
Akurai pulled the trigger.
- - - - -
''That time, you saw right through me…''
''I didn't give any damn about you or your family...'
''...Is what I still tell myself.''
Akurai let out a sigh.
"What a messed up family…" Akurai said.
"...Just like my thoughts."

Avine: The Journey
Avine, the name recorded in the oldest records of faith concerning the creation of the world. The lands of Avine are in turmoil. A lengthy war recently ended. Casualties were terrible, but not limited to the dead alone. Breakdowns occurred in society, and kingdoms struggled with civil unrest and a never-ending stream of refugees. Mariel Bluegale has lived a relatively uneventful life. Largely sheltered from prejudice by her parents Serin and Arwaro, she grew up in a kingdom that prospered thanks to its strictly neutral policy. But the winds of war are once more on the horizon. Peace is merely the prelude to a new, even bigger conflict, one which may be decided on the identity of one. Release schedule: One chapter a week for the forseeable future. Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be in pieces, and likely around holidays. As always, any -painful- errors (spelling, flow, consistency or time) please let me know.
