Since the beginning… I was completely inspired by my father...
“Kirakuma, why do you want to do this?” Matteo asked, looking at Kirakuma.
“I want to be a cool leader, just like you!” Kirakuma replied.
I always told him I want to be like him, but he said I shouldn’t do it…
But when I asked why, he wouldn’t reply…
One day, mother died, and Father’s Uncle came to our house.
This was the beginning of my future…
“It must be one of the subordinates...” Akurai explained.
“No way...” Matteo mumbled.
“Do not keep your guard lowered from now on...” Akurai said, walking off.
“Where are you going?” Matteo asked.
Akurai let out a sigh.
“I have business I need to attend.” Akurai explained, as he walked out of the door.
Akurai turned to a kid, who was walking away.
“Oi, where are you going?” Akurai asked him, but the kid continued walking away.
Akurai followed the kid. He realized the kid walked up to a group of others, which looked multiple ages older than the kid himself.
“Oi, what are you doing here kiddo- !”
As one of the older kids wanted to ask something, the smaller punched him on his face. The older kid fell on his back and looked up.
“W- What do you think you’re doing?!” The older kid shouted, as he stood up.
“Yeah, I saw you hurting that girl!” The younger kid said.
“So what? She started it, mind your own business.” The older one said.
“Idiot… People like you shouldn’t work for gangs or clans!” The younger kid shouted.
The older kid smirked.
“How should they, then?” The older kid asked.
“You’ll see… The name is Kirakuma Ishido...” The younger kid mumbled.
“... I am the future generation of the Ishido clan!” The younger kid shouted.

Akurai’s eyes lightened up.
“And my goal… Is to make sure the next generation will live happy together, with no problems!” Kirakuma screamed, as he charged the older group of children.
I that day charged right into them, with no knowledge at all…
I ended up getting my ass beaten…
The older boy threw Kirakuma to the ground.
“Idiot… You had me shocked for a minute.” The older kid said, as he slowly grabbed a knife.
Kirakuma’s eyes widened up.
“Idiots like you, should know their place-”
“Stop right there, kiddo.” Akurai interrupted the older children.
The kid’s eyes widened up.
“S- Shit… It’s him…” The kid said, as he ran away.
The other children followed him.
Akurai walked up to Kirakuma.
“Are you alright?” Akurai asked.
“Yeah...” Kirakuma mumbled, standing back up.
“Spit it out, kiddo, what happened?” Akurai asked.
Kirakuma smirked.
“Nothing special...” Kirakuma said.
“... I just told them my true feelings.” Kirakuma followed up.
“And who is this girl you were talking about?” Akurai asked.
“I- Ah… You heard that too?” Kirakuma asked.
“Her name is Kujira… She lives in the same street as ours.” Kirakuma explained.
“And she is really friendly, but those idiots were minding her business.” Kirakuma followed up.
“Interesting… Maybe your Father would like to hear-” “NONONO!”
Those times looked pretty bad, but they were way better than now…
Everything was going good between me and Kujira...
Until my father found out…
Kirakuma opened the door.
“I am home!” Kirakuma shouted.
Matteo walked up to him.
“Kirakuma...” Matteo said, looking down.
“Yes, father?” Kirakuma asked.
“Who is Kujira?” Matteo asked Kirakuma.
Kirakuma’s eyes widened up.
“Oh- Eh… It’s a girl who lives in the same street as we do-”
“W- What?!” Matteo interrupted him.
“Do you even know her last name?!” Matteo followed up.

Man… Just when things went good…
I found out her clan had a long war against ours... And they we’re placing spies in our clan…
And because of me…
My mother died…
She got killed by a spy…
I didn’t know what to do…
But Uncle Akurai came with a plan…
Kirakuma and Kujira walked together, hand in hand.
“Hey… How about we plan on going somewhere nice?” Kirakuma asked.
“Sure thing, I don’t mind.” Kujira answered, smiling.
They both walked to a hotel, and Kirakuma paid for one night. The room he bought was really beautiful.
“Woah… Awesome.” Kujira said, as her eyes lightened up.
Kirakuma sat down on the king sized bed they had.
“It really is cool...” Kirakuma replied.
Kujira sat down next to him.
“It is cool...” Kujira said.
They suddenly made eye contact, as they came closer to each other until their lips reached each other.
They both laid down the bed.
“I am happy you wanted to do this...” Kujira said, smirking.
“...I...” Kirakuma mumbled.
“...I am sorry.” Kirakuma said, as he started to tear up.
“Kirakuma?-”
-Pang!-
“Oi, Kirakuma… Get over here.” Akurai said.
“Yes, Uncle- !” Kirakuma’s eyes widened up, as Akurai gave him a handgun.
‘Listen up… You were talking about saving the next generation… This is your only chance...“ Akurai explained.
Kirakuma completely froze...
He had no other choice, right?
It was for the clan, right?
For the future, right?
...Right?

Ukato jumped out of the car, as they finally arrived back at the Apartment. He charged to the door and busted it open. He continued running through the hallway, the others followed him. He then pushed the office door open.
Ukato completely froze, as he saw Takumi sitting on the office-chair, with Akurai next to him. Akurai had an eye patch.
“Yo.” Takumi said.
The others arrived too.
“Oi, Oi… What is going on here? And where is Kirakuma?” Nokado asked.
Takumi stood up, walking up to them.
“Kirakuma is unconcious… Nothing much changed… The only important thing that happened is...” Takumi said, smirking.
“...I became The Family Inheritor.”
Everyone was in complete shock. Ukato’s looked down.
“...You...” Ukato mumbled.
Suddenly he pulled out his handgun, aiming it straight as Takumi.
“...You liar!” Ukato shouted.
“You would never be able to kill me...” Takumi said.
“...Physically and Mentally.” Takumi followed up.
Ukato suddenly charged him with the weapon, swinging it his way.
Takumi dodged his attack and grabbed his weapon. Takumi then followed up with turning the handgun and pulling the trigger. The bullet flied right next to Ukato cheek, scarring him. Ukato’s eyes widened up.
‘W- What the- !“ Ukato mumbled.
Suddenly Takumi kicks Ukato away, as he made Ukato let go of the gun. Takumi unloaded the gun and threw it back.
“As I was explaining… Erhm… The debt is now gone from 10 Million Yen to 3 Million Yen, as long as I work here.” Takumi said, grinning.
Takumi’s sharpened teeth showed up, as they glew bright in the room.
The others, completely frustrated, left the office and closed the door.
Takumi laid his hand on his hips.
“Welp… That was that...” Takumi mumbled, as he started to tear up.
“Is there something Takumi?” Akurai asked.
Takumi wiped his tears away.
“No, something got in my eye.” Takumi said, wiping his eyes.
“Please forgive me… Ukato, Anne, Ryan… Everyone...”
“... There was no other way to get the debt.”

Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel (An Irreverent Fanfiction)
Fates Parallel is a gripping cultivation story, following the adventures of a half-spirit girl with nothing as she grows both as a cultivator and as a person after arriving at the Grand Academy of Spiritual, Martial and Arcane Arts. It features fleshed-out, believable characters, wonderful world-building that informs the course of the plot, and girls who hold hands. Fates Parallel is a very good story, and you should read it! Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek look at this same world from a different angle, following a totally regular girl who brings bad luck with her wherever she goes. It features shallow, joke-name characters, a focus on the least interesting parts of a fantastic world, and girls who hold hands (potentially). Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is an amazingly hilarious (so says me) fanfiction and you should read it! (This is a Totally Author Approved Spin-Off (Fanfiction) for Fates Parallel, which you can find in a number of places including here on RoyalRoad! Please do read it!)

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
