‘The Crimson Vampire’ Matteo had warned us…
But yet we were determined to attack Isaac…
In the end… Everything went downhill…
- - The Next Day - -
- 05:53 -
Yin, Yang and Akari were packing everything up.
Yanagi walked up to the three children.
“Listen up… All of you...” Yanagi mumbled.
“... This Isaac is a really big threat, and he for sure knows were coming...” Yanagi explained.
“... So go give him hell.” Yanagi said, smiling.
Yin grinned, as he looked at his handgun.
“Yeah… We will.” Yin said.
The three walked out the building as they headed out the facility, another person walked past the three, who looked one or two years older. The three ignored him and kept walking, heading straight to Isaac’s hideout. The kid shut the door, and turned to Yanagi-
Yanagi’s eyes widened up.
“Y- You...” He mumbled.
“... What are you doing here?” Yanagi asked.
“I am here to ask you, why there are three children working for you?” The kid asked.
“Those are my new students… They are heading out for their first mission.” Yanagi replied.
The kid slammed both his hands onto Yanagi’s desk.
“Don’t you remember… What happened with him!?” The kid shouted.
“Calm down… Those three are different… ” Yanagi replied.
“How are they any different?” The kid asked.
“They have learned way better techniques… And if they fail, they won’t make it out alive.” Yanagi replied.
“Aren’t you… Exactly the same?” Yanagi followed up.
The kid’s eyes widened up.
“You too have a way dangerous teacher, that won't hesitate to use you as a human shield...” Yanagi said.
“... Am I correct, Ishido… Kirakuma?” Yanagi whispered, grinning.
Kirakuma’s eyes widened up, but he stayed calm. Kirakuma walked back to the exit.
“Fine… Do what you want… ” Kirakuma replied.
“... But don’t come begging for help if he ends up being just like Otoko Kakumi.” Kirakuma said, as he walked out of the door and slammed it shut.
Yanagi let out a sigh, as he sat back down on his office chair.
“Sir, isn’t he talking about that kid you brought in five years ago?” The subordinate asked.
“Yes… He was talking about him.” Yanagi replied.
Yanagi remembered taking care of him. In the end Otoko found out about Yanagi’s plan, so Yanagi tried to stop him. But Otoko had escaped him and left to another gang.

Otoko had destroyed every bond he had created, just to start over. Now no one knows what he is doing and where he is.
But Yanagi stayed determined to those three…
He knew… That one day…
Those three would be able to surpass even him..
- - 50m away from Isaac’s hideout, Abandoned Factory - -
- 6:55 -
Yin turned to Yang and Akari, as they were about to enter the hideout.
“So, everyone ready?” Yin asked.
They both nodded.
Yin grinned, as he stood up and walked to the hideout, the other two followed him.
But out of nowhere spotflights flashed their way. Their eyes widened up.
A man behind shadows grabbed a megaphone.
“Welcome to my territory… ” The man said, walking out of the shadows.
Yin’s eyes widened up.
The person with the Megaphone was Isaac. People started to walk out of the shadows, with all of them a grin on their face.
“... Unfortunately, you aren’t invited here...” Isaac said.
“... The police will be here in about 5 minutes or so, so either you die now or end in prison.” Isaac explained, grinning.
Yang turned to Yin, and he noticed Yin was acting different than normal.
“I am sorry… But I don’t plan on going to jail, yet.” Yin mumbled.
“... I have a organization to rule.” Yin followed up, grinning.
Yin reached for his jacket with both arms, grabbing two small submachine guns.
“Yang, Akari, buck!” Yin shouted as he started to fire in circles.
Yang and Akari both laid down, as the bullets flied above their heads.
Yang looked at Yin, and noticed he wasn’t fearing anything…
He was grinning, and he followed up with laughter. His eyes were completely widen up, as if he just lost his mind. He kept firing in circles until his bullets went empty.
Yin turned to Isaac, who was on top of the abandoned factory. Yin grinned.
“You better run now… Because it’s your turn!” Yin shouted, grinning.
Yang and Akari stood back up. Yin ran to both of them and grabbed their arms.
“We’re going after him, before he leaves.” Yin said, grinning.
“Y- Yeah...” Yang replied.
Isaac grabbed a walkie talkie out of his pocket.
“Plan B… We’re leaving… Rendezvous point is on top of the factory.” Isaac said.
“Roger that.” The person replied through the walkie talkie.

Isaac ran into the factory, heading for the top of the factory.
It felt… Different that time…
All the training we did was for this special day…
But none of us expected Yin showing his true colors…
Yin kept running through the building, killing everyone in his way. Yang and Akari just followed him.
“Yin, where are we going?” Yang asked.
“We are going to the top, he will definitely try to escape from there.” Yin replied.
They kept running through everyone. Heading for the top of the Factory…
- - Police station 1500 m away from the Factory - -
- 06:12 -
One of the officers bursted the door of the detectives open.
“S- Sir! There are gunshots at the abandoned factory, just like Isaac’s men told us!” The police officer shouted.
A man stood up, his face was filled with scars.
“All right, Itsuki and Touma will investigate with their platoons.” The man said, turning to two detectives, who were grinning.
“Sure thing, boss.” One of them said, standing up.
“All right! Platoon 4 Beta is coming with Touma and Platoon 1 Alpha is coming with me!” The man shouted.
“Grab everything piece of weapon you can, we are fighting experienced mafia here!” The one named Touma shouted.
“Yes, Sir!” both platoons shouted.
- - The top of the Factory - -
- 6:59 -
Yin kicked the door to the roof open, and they all ran to the roof.
Yin’s eyes widened up, a chopper was flying off, with Isaac in it. Yin grabbed one of his submachine guns but he kept missing Isaac. Isaac grinned and grabbed his Megaphone.
“You came to the roof, just like I wanted…” Isaac mumbled, grabbing a remote control.
“... Now, die.” Isaac said, grinning.
He pressed on the remote control-
Sudden explosions could be heard.
Yang turned to Yin.
“Yin, what do we do no- !”
Suddenly Yang’s part of the roof cracked…
Akari’s eyes widened up.
“Yang!” She screamed-
Yang fell from the roof, with the pieces of debris following him.
That’s how Yang died…
But the story wasn’t finished…
As if the story couldn’t become worse…
The police took Yin hostage, and Akari managed to escape…
After that incident, Yin was set in a temporary prison cell.
- - 2 Days later... - -
Itsuki and Touma walked up to the Detective-in-command.
“Sir… He doesn’t say anything at all.” Itsuki said.
“Well… Then make him say something.” The man replied.
“We aren’t supposed to go easy on the dangerous ones, you got that?” The man followed up, grinning.
“Yes, sir.” Itsuki replied, as he walked to the room.
Touma saw Itsuki grinning as he opened the cell door. Just when Yin looked up Itsuki swung his fist, with Yin hitting his head on the wall.
“You piece of disgusting shit… Why won’t you say anything?!” Itsuki shouted.
He kept punching Yin, and Yin didn’t do anything back.
“I- Itsuki… That’s enough.” Touma said.
Itsuki turned to him, grinning.
“It’s not enough until he talks!” Itsuki shouted, kicking Yin in his chest.
Yin stood up, standing in front of Itsuki.
“You...” Yin mumbled.
His face was covered in blood. And his eyes looked like a insane man.
“... You’ll be better off dead.” Yin mumbled, pulling out a spoon out of his pocket.
The spoon was sharpened. Yin pushed the spoon through his arm, and the spoon clinged onto the wall.
Touma unholstered his handgun and aimed at Yin.
Yin slowly walked up to him, and placed the handgun closer to his own chest.
“You wouldn’t dare to shoot me, would you?” Yin said grinning.
Touma’s eyes widened up, as he pulled the trigger.
The handgun didn’t shoot, and Yin started to laugh.
He pulled the handgun out of his hand, and pulled down the safety lock.
“Your safety was on, idiot...” Yin said, grinning.
He aimed at Touma, firing in both his legs.
Another detective entered the door and Yin shot the man through his head.
“Now… If you don’t mind, I will be leaving this place.” Yin said, grinning.
Yin slowly walked through the building, killing every detective in front of his path.
It was Yanagi’s fault… He knew at least one of us wouldn’t make it out alive…
I am gonna kill him… Not only him… But the rest of his 270,000 men…
I will personally kill him... Slow, and painful…

Iferes: Slaves Of The Gods
Iferes are creatures that roam the world. They are everywhere, and anywhere. From the deepest seas, to the highest mountains. From the heart of volcanos, to the never melting glaciers. Some are weak, some are strong. Some are calm, some are bloodthirsty. What they all have in common, is that they fight for survival. For hundreds of thousands of eras, humans and Iferes lived in a world of war and blood. Ifere against Ifere, Ifere against humans, and humans against humans. But one day, in a very distant past, the twelve Mystic Iferes, and the twelve greatest kings of humanity, joined hands to end that cruel era. Together, they created a contract. A contract that, once made, would bound the two parties, and could only be broken in death. Millions of years went by, and that period of war faded in legends. And a child was born, a child that would change everything. For bad or worse, only time would say. ----------------------------- Hello, everyone! Just a few warnings before you read the novel, so you won't be disappointed. First of all, as you can probably tell, I took more than a few ideas from pokemon and the like. It's almost impossible to write a novel where creatures (Iferes) have a major part in, and not relate it to pokemon. However, as you will see as the novel goes on, I tried (and I think I succeeded) in making a universe of my own. I am sure you will like it. Secondly, compared to pokemon, my novel is a lot darker, as you probably noticed by the synopsis. I also try to give a wild west vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Thirdly, you should check out my fanfic Broke: A Clone Wars Tale. Biased as I am towards it, I think it's a great story, and so do many of my readers. It will also give you a glance at what writing style to expect. Fourth and last, I feel like it's only fair that I tell you I am a student. As much as I love writing, my main priority will always be my studies. After all, writing is just a hobby for me, at least for now (fingers crossed). As such, there probably will be interruptions in the release schedule here and there, but, if you followed me on my other novel, you will know I rarely missed an upload, and, when I did, I always made up for it. So, with all that said, I hope you can give the novel a try, and leave a review. If you are a new reader, I hope we can have a lot of fun along the way. If you read Broke, then we already made a journey together, and I hope you will follow me on a new one. Also, you should check out my patreon, there you can get chapters in advance (although they will all be published normally after a while), and a few other benefits. I appreciate every bit of support you can give me! patreon.com/reis123 PS: there will be romance, but no harem or reincarnation. The MC is just someone who was born and raised on this world.
