Ouch... Lian’Er! Why are you here!?” Said Xiao Che with a confused expression.
The girl was wearing a black robe with an orange dragon pattern. Her robe only covered her upper body and her left arm, while her right arm was decorated with armlet and guards. On her right palm, a black dragon tattoo was painted clearly. Her face was pretty and her expression showed a deep longing for Xiao Che. She then realized that the both of them were in a peculiar position, she quickly stood up with a reddened face and calmed herself down.
“Ahem... I’m here to help you in what the heck you are doing!” Said Lian’Er while rubbing the back of her head.
“Huh....”
Xiao Che was confused hearing Lian’Er explanation, suddenly another familiar face came to the room too; he was a middle-aged man with a scar on his face. Same like Lian’Er, he was wearing a black robe with an orange dragon pattern on it, but this person robe was old and rugged. His right hand was also decorated with armlet and guard, and the same dragon tattoo was painted on his palm. With a smug face, he said to Xiao Che.
“XIao Che, are you not happy that your dear friend comes all this way from Chang’An to meet you?” Said the man with a smug, while standing like a drunken person.
“Ohh... Drunken Old Man, you are here too?” Said Xiao Che with a bit of dissatisfied face.
Hearing all the ruckus, another person came into the room. the person was a girl too, her face had an elegant look and her hair was long, she was wearing a common black robe and she seemed dissatisfied with what happened on Xiao Che room.
“You two... Why do you guys come here?” Said the girl with a tired face.
The girl spoke with a flat tone, Lian’Er who saw her, then talked back.
“Xia Yu, is it wrong for me to see my friend!?” Said Lian’Er with a bit annoyed face at Xia Yu.
“It is wrong if you are this loud. Do you think the neighbour wouldn’t hear it, quiet down will you!” Said Xia Yu as she goes head to head with Lian’Er.
After a few minute, the 4 of them talked quietly in the dining room. Xiao Che seemed happy that Lian’Er and The Old Man came, different than Xia Yu who seemed annoyed that both of them came, she then asked them.
“So... Why do you guys come here....” Said Xia Yu calmly on the table.

The Old Man then started to talk seriously, but his face still showed his usual smug
“Xia Yu, we know about Xiao Che Great Dragon Fire is getting restless by each day, we also know that you are here to control it.... what we don’t know is how?”
“So knowing you, you must have already thought of an “only plan” to “safely” control the fire. and so that’s why I and Old Man Tang is here to help Xiao Che if any case you “might” get in trouble...” Said Lian’Er full of tease.
“Heh... do you have no trust in me?” Said Xia Yu with a Smug on her face
Xiao Che then smiled “There, there, let’s get to the point shall we....... We are planning to get The Pill of Sovereign Rest from The Heavenly Blessings.” Said Xiao Che with a joking, yet serious tone.
“Xiao Che, don’t we already ask the Heavenly Blessing for The Pill?.... Did they refused us?” Asked Lian’Er with a concerned looks.
Xiao Che looked at Lian’Er with a small smile.
“The Leader was kind enough... to beg the Heavenly Blessing for the Pill, but they still wouldn’t give it to us....” Said Xiao Che with a grateful yet sad face.
“The Pill of Sovereign Rest is a pill that acts as a token of honour for the Great 10 Sect of The JiangHu Alliance. They are the only people that have the right to receive The Pill, unfortunately for you, The Ravaging Flame Sect is on the neutral side of the JiangHu, so you can’t ask for it...” Said Xia Yu with a flat tone.
“The Heavenly Blessing Sect really did that! Do they really wanted to let an innocent person die because of some Rules!” Said Lian’Er with a contempt expression.
Xia Yu then Said “The Heavenly Blessing is a sect that put discipline at high priority, it would be weird for them to suddenly “Break the Rules”, besides, for a great Sect like them, what is the importance of 1 person. And so, that’s why a couple of days from now, we are going to “Asks” The Heavenly Blessing again, for the Pill.”
“How do we going to get that, we are far from Chang’An...” Asked Lian'Er
Xia Yu smirked and said
“Stupid girl, if we are going to literally ask them again, then we won't travel all the way to Sichuan! Hear me out, I got an info from the Underground World that in a couple of days, a small group of Heavenly Blessing member will come to E Mei Town....”

“Hmmm.....” Both of Lian'Er and Old man Tang head started to lean toward Xia Yu.
“It seems that they are planning on extinguishing The Crimson Sky Sect for good...” Said Xia Yu as she started to focus.
“Oh!? So The Crimson Sky Sect finally manage to anger the Heavenly Blessing huh?” Said Old Man Tang
“It seems so. but our target is not these ordinary Heavenly Blessing member, our target is the one that’s leading this raid.... The Genius from The Heaven, Fei Gua!!” Said Xia Yu with great confidence.
“!?”
Both Lian’Er and Old Man Tang was shocked hearing Xia Yu explanation, there was concerned about this plan, Lian’Er then said
“Fei Gua, the would-be leader of Heavenly Blessings! The God-Like Prodigy of Heavenly Art and Healing! That Fei Gua! Are you sure about this?”
Xia Yu nod.
“Yes, that Fei Gua, and Yes, I’m sure about this” Said Xia Yu seriously.
Both Old Man Tang and Lian’Er looked at each other with worries painted on their faces, Xia Yu then said
“Listen first!..... According to my analysis, Fei Gua seems to be a cocky bastard who doesn’t know his own Strength. My scout told me that he only brings 15 Heavenly Blessing member on this “Fight” to extinguish The Crimson Sky Sect, The Crimson Sky Sect has Lu Guo a Greater Heavenly State Warrior, and other Cosmic Heavenly State veteran, not to mention people who are already in High and Converging Heavenly State are also a member of this Sect. And he, an 18-years old Young Boy dare to only bring 15 people to fight them. Cuih! The only thing he can do with 15 people is Clean-Up, besides, the Major JiangHu in Chang’An don’t even know what Spiritual State he is at now, knowing his age, I think he is still at Greater Spiritual State, Middle Heavenly State top!”
“Hmm, So we are here to get the ill from Fei Gua” Said Old Man Tang.
“Correct, it seems Fei Gua had the pill on his Void-Room Ring. Our job is either to wait until Fei Gua forces are eliminated and stole the ring, or fight them when they are weak if by any chance they are winning, or steal the ring when he is alone.” Said Xia Yu as she carefully persuaded Lian'Er and Old Man Tang.
Lian’Er and Old Man Tang seemed to agree with Xia Yu plan. Although there was still a bit seed of doubt, they thought this plan might really work, they had the element of surprise; but to meddle with Fei Gua, meant to meddle with the Heavenly Blessing, if this plan failed, and the Heavenly Blessing recognized them, The Ravaging Flame Sect would be at war with them. Lian’Er then looked at Xiao Che.
“Xiao Che, do you think this would works?” Said Lian'Er
Xiao Che looked down. In his heart, Xiao Che himself was not hundred percent sure that this would work, but he was willing to try, he looked at Lian’Er and said.
“Hmmm we’ll see, Xia Yu already has a solid plan, I think... I think we can try to do this..” Said Xiao Che with a smile and confidence.
From his word, Xiao Che seemed eager to do this plan. Xia Yu nodded at Xiao Che and Old Man Tang smiled with his usual smug, but only Lian’Er who was sensitive enough to see the doubt on Xiao Che expression.
That night, Xiao Che didn’t sleep, he stood on the balcony of his room looking at the star. he pondered about his own power and skills, all this time, he had been blessed with such a good friends and master, but when it came to his own power & skills, he actually really timid. Although all of his friends considered him to be “The Strongest” he himself never thought of that, Xiao Che rest his body on the balcony until he heard a knock on the door
*Knock *Knock
“Xiao Che, May I come in?” Said Lian’Er behind the door.
“Sure....”
Both of them then sit on the wooden balcony. Xiao Che continued looking at the star while Lian’Er looked at him with a gentle caring look. She knew that Xiao Che felt confused about something, she then asked him “Xiao Che, what are you thinking about?”
“Huh?..... I’m just thinking about.....”
Before he even finished his sentence, Xiao Che looked at Lian’Er with a worried and sad expression, he calmly asked her “Lian’Er.... do you think I have done good enough?”
“Hmm...?”
Xiao Che then said. “Lian’Er you remember when we were still children...”
“You mean when you still like to get bullied?” Said Lian’Er with a little smile on her face.
Xiao Che laughs a little “Yeah...... Hah..... back then I think I was truly useless…”

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

Braza the Architect - Magical Crafter, Builder, and Adventurer!
This is the story of an older man who lived a hard but full life, being reincarnated into a fantasy world as a human-lizard hybrid. The new world is violent, magic is real, a game-like development system crushes physics and natural law under its ambivalent thumb, and myth and legend don't just meet, they chase you down to eat you.Follow Braza as he tries to make a very different life for himself in a familiar but ultimately alien world. In this story the protaginist will not just be a muscle bound monster. He is not a proper hero, willing to sacrifice himself for the good of a stranger, but neither is he a maniacal villain. He is trying to survive, and he is trying to give himself and those he deems himself responsible for a seat at the table of the"goodly", the "civilized" races. He is trying to create a secure home for his people, to arrange beneficial trade agreements, explore ancient ruins, decipher ancient runes, push the boundaries of magic to create a better life for everyone around him, to learn about the history of the world and the multiverse, and ultimately attempt to become powerful enough to take on a being that even the gods themselves fear. This is my first story and it blends many different elements and styles. It's a bit darker than most of what I have read on Royal Road, but even with that, I hope you give it a try, and I hope you like it!
