23 years ago, Brianus Winstone travelled to Argos city on the north of Azlek Kingdom. There he stayed in the Palace of Eternity. He planned to surprise visit his father in the middle of his travel.

His father was Winstone Mancinus. He was the ruler at that time. He had just defeated King Nevarth and had won a Great War.

King Winstone was returning home from the North-East side of the Kingdom to celebrate his victory. Brianus knew this and sent some of his guards to look out for his father’s arrival so that he could surprise him.

But Brianus did not know that the Palace of Eternity was a very dangerous palace at that time. So he was acting carelessly without deep thinking.

Lycaon Simon ruled Argos city. He was the only Grand Duke that did not become a Grand Duke because of his blood, but he became because of his merit.

He was a poor soldier at the beginning, but because of this talent in management and discipline, he became a friend of the king. He acted as a good friend to the king while having high ambitions.

First, He became a general than, a commander and then finally a Grand Duke. But it was not enough to satisfy his thirst for power.

He knew that the High Elves were really angry and revengeful after losing the war to the king and there was a secret rumour that the High Elfish King Nevarth would help those become king if they were to kill a member from the House of Odysseus.

So When Brianus Winstone the Firstborn son of King Winstone arrived in his palace, he had started planning with his family to kill him. He was waiting for an opportunity.

When he saw Brianus ordering his private guards away for a mission, he knew that Brianus had created the perfect opportunity for his death.

Brianus did not have the power of his ancestors, so he could not do anything to defend himself because he was only strong as a mere mortal human.

That was the reason his father had assigned some members from the branches of House of Odysseus to him as guards because they had some powers of their ancestors.

His guards were ordered by his father to follow his every command.

So, When Brianus ordered them to recon and looked out for his father’s arrival, they had no choice but to follow. But doing this made Brianus very vulnerable.

It was commonly known that the blood from the House of Odysseus’s direct descendants had pure Titan’s Blood in them, which gave great power to some worthy people.

Lycaon did not know why Brianus had come to visit his palace, but when he saw the opportunity to get more power, he could not resist his urge and killed him while he was sleeping.

After Lycaon killed Brianus, he stole his blood and drank it with his family thinking that it will increase his and his family’s physical power.

But when Zeus saw that his kin was being killed and the titan’s blood being was stolen and used by unknown people. He became angry, and his wrath unleashed.

Because Lycaon and his family actions were very evil, Primordial Queen Gaia Allowed Zeus to punish them.

Zeus took this chance and turned all his relatives, his family and all those who helped him kill Brianus into humanoid-wolves.

It was the time of night, and all those cursed by Zeus were turned into werewolves. After becoming beasts, they suddenly got an urge for hunger.

So, they started to kill and eat all the servants in the Palace of Eternity.

While this was happing, Winstone Mancinus had reached the gates of Argos city.

“My King! We have reached the gates of Argos city. Should we enter?”

Winstone Mancinus was sad even after winning a Great War. Because many of his soldiers had died there, he felt no happiness.

So, When he heard this, he became a little happier as he thought of the Grand Duke of Argos city as a great friend.

“It has been many years since I had come here before. Now that I am here. I should go and surprise Lycaon with my visit. I am sure that my dear friend will be glad. Commander Kelton, send someone to tell them of my arrival and order them to open gates.”

Just as when he finished talking, some soldiers saw someone coming from their left side.

“My King! Someone is coming this way.”

King Winstone looked at his left side and saw a person wearing a cloak coming at his side. The unknown person is also wearing silver armour.

“Your Highness! Should we prepare to fight?”

As King Winstone was looking at the person, he recognized the symbol on the unknown man’s armour.

The symbol on the armour chest was the symbol of House of Eburnus. It is a duke family in Lapithos city, which is a branch family of House of Odysseus.

After seeing this, King Winstone stops his soldiers who were preparing to fight.

“No need to worry! It is someone from House of Eburnus.”

When the comes close to King Winstone, he lowers his head while putting his left arm on his heart to show respect.

“I pay respect to King Winstone! May His Highness reign long.”

He takes down the clock and the king while shocked immediately recognizes the person in front of him. King Winstone angrily questions him.

“Lucas!!! What are you doing here??? I assigned you to my eldest son Brianus. You should be with him, guarding his life.”

Lucas Eburnus is not surprised by King Winstone’s reaction because he knows that the king loves his eldest son.

But, he tries to assure the king not to worry while answering his questions.

“My King! His Highness Brianus is right now in the Palace of Eternity. He wanted to surprise you, so he ordered me to find you and report to him about your arrival, but when I saw you returning, I became too happy and excited that I immediately came to you. Don’t Worry! His Highness is with Grand Duke Lycaon.”

After Hearing, this King Winstone calmed down, and he laughed.

“Hahaha! He is truly my child. He could not wait for his dear father in the royal palace, so he came to Argos city to see me early. I will not blame you because you have left my child with my dear friend. Now you will accompany us to the Palace of Eternity to surprise him instead.”

Lucas smiles while answering the king.

“As you command, My King!”

After this, they enter the gate. A soldier that the commander sent to open the gates comes rushing at his horse.

The soldier goes to the king with an anxious and sad face. Tears are falling from his eyes as he tries to speak. He was exhausted, but he tried to speak.

“My……… My King *drip* ………… His………… His Highness Brianus *drop* ………. Palace of Eternity…….Beasts.”

The king becomes anxious after he hears his eldest son’s name, and so asks the soldier with worry.

“Tell me, soldier! What happened to my son???”

The soldier starts crying as he answers the king.

“My King! I have just heard a from the city guards that beasts have attacked Palace of Eternity.”
