《The Fire of Asiroth》Chapter Nineteen: Outside

Jeplin planned on leaving for Edegear after the significant battle had ended. The day after, he began to pack.
Robert called everyone important into the throne room. Kari Jeplin, Robert, Greg and Charles, and Leo were sitting around. Kari entered. "Oh, Charles! She was excited to see him. They hugged, and she sat down at the table. "We have some things I need you to know; the kingdom of Redponn has summoned me to take the throne there." "Oh, that's wonderful, Robert!" Kari exclaimed. "I've accepted, but unfortunately, that means I have to leave here." Kari nodded. "I know, it's alright. Being the king of Redponn is your destiny. They worship you." He continued, "of course, the Asiroth army will stay here, and because Jeplin is heading to Edegear, anyone from Edegaer will be following him, of course. There will be a lot of power shuffling, so I think we need to build the council and ranking advisors so when we leave, Kari, you will be completely rebuilt." "I agree," she said.
They figured out everything, and soon she was left in the castle with her advisor's knights but without her brother or close friends.
They finished the castle repairs and set the hierarchy. Asiroth was reborn.
She liked the chance to rule independently, but she also wanted freedom. She desired to find the mighty women that were shipped away.

The women were loaded on the boat like cattle, but what the crew didn't know was that they wanted to go along with the plan.
Cat, Lilly, ivy, Amber, Fesa, Cornelia, and Gara sat in the hull and chatted. They didn't seem concerned at all, which the guards never picked up on.
They picked a time and began, and that's when they enacted the plan. Amber held up her hand and shot a spiral of fire that hit the guard. It was a swift uprising; the guards both lay on the ground dead before them after one minute. Ivy used her talents to unlock the chains. The women stood and stretched, then found their supplies. They put on their gear and climbed the stairs.
A piggish sort of looking man stood still at the top of the stairs with his arms folded. It was his job to keep prisoners from escaping the bottom layer of the ship. A flash of light blinded them for a second and the man tumbled down the stairs.
The women swarmed the ship and soon completely commandeered it. They rejoiced in their success and hoped their journey would be otherwise uneventful.

Kari summoned her advisors to the throne room like she had seen Richon do in the past. They were honest and kind people that she had come across throughout her journey to the throne, and some were recommended by her brother. Her head advisor was Richard. He was an important man in Robert's army and was the man that helped him while fighting for Redponn and Asiroth; he was leading her army, and her second advisor was Harota; she loved Harota and trusted her opinions. They spent a lot of time together in the past, and she wanted to honor her loyalty. The next advisor was Timothy, then Gwen. She discussed the action they should take if they are attacked again. It would be a different dynamic without the men she was used to having around supporting her. She was confident that they could create their own powerful team, but they needed time.

They laid out everything that needed looked at or elaborated on within the realm. They talked about the missing women, taxes, the war effort, alliances, and the mystery of "H"
While in their meeting, Robert burst through the door with Charles and Thomas. At first, Kari was excited to see them, but then she saw their expressions. "Kari, Helam is back."
Kari couldn't believe what they said. They walked into the room, and she just looked at them. "What?" she said. Robert walked over to her; Helam has returned." "I do not understand; I thought he was dead." Robert shook his head, "he fled, and Henry spread that rumor to obtain his power, but Helam fled to rebuild, and now he's back and stronger than ever. Kari was stunned. The war was hard enough, but an actual full-blown leader of the enemy army could be disastrous. We think it's better if we consolidate again. He said. We cant stay split. We are too weak that way." She agreed.
They sat and ate and tried to figure out where they should set up their base. Kari wanted to stay in Asiroth but the reality of doing so was not clear. Edegear was off the table completely, it hadn't been repaired and Jeplin just arrived there. "Jepling," Kari said, "What about Jeplin, does he know?" The nodded. "We stopped there first and he's packing his army to return here." "This is the go to point for Edegear but should we move on from here to Redponn?" "Redponn does have a huge castle with room after room and a large food supply and a lot of space, but what about all of the people living in the city here?"

The Due
Every sailor knows the tale of Davy Jones' Locker. That place drowned sailors are sent to, ever resting on sea's bed. Some tales recount of a ghostly ship, the Flying Dutchman. Many a story has spawned from these two tales. Countless retellings mixing in their own fictions. But all stories spawn with a kernel of truth to them, and the story of Davy Jones is no exception. Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
