《Project Book》Project Book prologue

Prologue:
The thought of creating fiction or stories has always been a strong point in our Mind.
A concept on how what could be.
The thought of a World revolving about one’s fantasy.
The inspiration of creating fanfiction about that one world that inspired you.
Books and there meaning are often found varied, as books aren’t just Stories, but experiences, emotions, feelings and History combined into one readable Story to share ones Life, idea or principle with one another, but something like this always comes with a Price.
How do you share your idea or story if nobody wants to read them?
As many good and popular books are out there, so many rotten and in dust covered Book are hidden in the shadow of others waiting till the day they are found.
Why? Why do certain books flourish and others don’t? Why do certain people flourish, and others don’t? This misconception reliant on misinformation or just lacking information, is what makes certain books fall and others rise.
Beyond all of that are those that stand but are not seen. To rise or to fall, needs an audience, a viewership a community. Without that you are just stagnating, staying for a miracle to happen, even though you gave no opportunity for such a thing to happen.
Those are all groundworks of your Book your Story. The environment you place them in determines their outcome.
Live example. A book set in a fantasy setting, staying in one bookstore and a Book getting published online. Which are more likely to be read?
The Book in the Bookstore:
Open wide to people who want to read. Chances it needs to overcome. Price, first impression, writing style, impression for their author and where its sold. The chance of someone reading it? Slim, the chance of someone recommending it? Also, slim. It’s based around the principle of marketing and has nothing to do with the Story or author themselves.
The book online:
It has the chance of being sold as a piece of Story or a Book. Like how there are priced stories and stories to be viewed for free. Coming down to the first impression and the platform it given out of. The higher the Community members the lower the chances of being found. The higher the community members the higher the chance of a miracle.
All of this tells us on how Stories Books are based around the environment they are set in. How such things determine not just your Story, but also the marketing and ideals behind it.
Project book introduction
Introduction:
Project book has always been about the principle of having a Book as a Project for oneself and what to look out for if creating or doing such a Project. It comes with guidelines help and experience in such a market.

Now what does it mean to join Project Book?
The Environment. Project: I have told before how an environment determines ones Book right? Now what does a Project you join entail for an environment? Yes, a joined environment in which the success of one entails the success of the Project and on that note entail the success of its participants. Contest: A contest entails the viewership and outlooks on a story determined by the ranking they achieve. Making participant try there hardest to be first rank to get prices or influence entailing such a ranking. Event: All around the inner working and happenings in such an environment. In which one takes part in something, to not just enjoy the Event itself, but also the people who are taking part in it.
Those are things any community can give you. So, what does it have, to go above that?
Potential
I have talked about how this is part of Arechnocadia, now what does this mean in the context of this Project? It means that this is the baseline my company goes out from. In experience, like the first Product a company sells, Its base and its working surround that Product and its niche.
Baseline: How many written Stories or Books are adapted to media, from Comics to videos to fanfiction to series to movies. Many and not just all are based around Books that someone has written. Even the newest and best Movies are often based on a script someone had to write. From that standpoint any Story which has been written in this Project have the baseline for being adapted into any future Projects under Arechnocadia.
From this most of the Stories involving around the Lore of Arechnocadia, will have a chance of being adapted to other media in the Future working of our Projects.
Guidance: To qualify for such a Potential Guidance is needed. From Stories and their involvement to power struggles, or differences in their future. All of it has something to do on how you decide to create accomplish or write your Story, and we want to help you do something which qualifies for even the little chance of adapting to a full TV series. All of this need’s groundwork and that’s why. Groundwork The groundwork of it all is a shared system of Power, Lore and interest to keep the chance of them interacting as high as possible. If one does not have such a thing or does not take part in it the chance of both Stories, one with my groundwork and one with his own groundwork connecting to make something together are slim. We might have the same idea of Superman, but if both of them meet, not 2 different Supermen would meet, but 2 different groundworks, from their power, to inspiration, to ideologies. Most of those things create the drama of who is stronger, from superman vs batman to ben 10 vs songoku, Shrek vs shaggy, all of this are Stories involving different groundworks, in which their power is reliant on not the same thing. Or even established enough to work outside their universe. This is what Arechnocadia, or Project book give you. A groundwork to work of.

A starting line in which every future aspect can be involved or adapted to any inspiration or story to come. By giving you a groundwork to work of, to easier create future stories around that. (For more information around that groundwork check out Project book guide, under the Project Book Discord channel.)
Inspiration
The last things Project book can give you is Inspiration, as its whole groundwork design and future aspects are coming from this simple idea. Inspiration is the meaning you grasp of somebody else inspiration. So, inspiration itself grows the more its shared and the more open one is about it.
Interactive: The most and weirdest things come from interactive story pieces, as the mind of one is challenged to comprehend the ideas of many. Which can be difficult so it got downgraded into the simple piece of, how would one take on this subtle challenge into his own work. Keeping one away from always thinking around their own term and start looking out from the broader perspective of their story. Fusion: To Fuse a Story Is to fuse both meanings into one coherent understanding. If somebody decides to join a Story, they bring with them their own perspective into it. Making the whole scenario more natural. As Perspective often represents change and most changes don’t come natural in Storytelling, as not every story told is build up naturally. By being able to Fuse a Story with another, you give the ability to change that Story or to let it adapt. Making it stronger and more durable for further endeavors. Concept: Of trying to improve in your own work instead of trying to create more quantity you focus more on the quality. By Limiting one output, the chances of inspiration and quality while skyrocket. It’s a concept many have used to study better or keep a much straighter attention span. Its by taking away any fun and just boring yourself, while rewarding yourself with doing something. Like taking away your Phone and only giving you access to a pencil. This in context to writing would not work, as most of you would start writing at that point. Instead, one focuses on the concept behind the written work as you can’t write above the timeframe given. In this Project preparing is better than creating. You focus needs to rely on the adaptability of your work and not the content you can create of it. So, thinking and planning for the future are highly encouraged.
Lastly keep in mind, this is a Project around books, not Stories. Its focus lies on creating a media (books) which are in content and quality great enough to be sold as books. Not on Stories on which you rely on to tell something. It implies that the future of your creation is not just a story to be told, but a set piece which can be used.
So What does it all come down on?
Project Book is like any big Project, with different ideas and futures to behead, but it all relies on its community and expression, as a Project is only as good as the people working on it.
That’s the reason why this Project goes public, there is no gain of it from monetizing it or getting professionals on it.
All it needs right now are just people having fun writing about it or with it.
Even in the Future it will not take itself to seriously, as it does not need to.
Writing is an expression of oneself, taking this project more serious than it has to, will only limit the fun and potential it has.
So be free to write or apply with anything you love to write about.
From sex, to drugs, to murder, to carnage, to horrifying, to cute, to wholesome, to just slice of life, or thrillers. I’m open about any Piece of story you submit, as it is not about what you submit, but how much fun you are having and how interested you are about writing about it.
Project Book houses any Story you create and gives it a Home. In which it can live on without having to lie in a cellar to cover dust. Give your Story the chance to express itself, give it a home, give it a chance. Project book a writing contest/project/event.
Arechnocadia a Home of dreamers and their dreams.

A (Not So) Simple Fetch Quest
Oh great hero! The evil Demon Lord has once again arisen to terrorise our lands, and we have summoned you to save our people! No, we don't want you to fight the demon lord! Of course not; we're the good guys! What sort of good guys kidnap people from other worlds and force them to take part in wars that have nothing to do with them? That would just be plain evil! We'd be no better than the demons! Katie, after her summoning by an excessively loud mage suddenly takes an unexpected twist, is sent off on a simple fetch quest, with a promise that she'll be back home in five minutes at most. She doesn't even need to leave the building. Alas, when a goddess' blessing causes her wish for an actual adventure to be taken rather more literally than she expected, she finds herself lost in a dark cave, far away from the sword she was supposed to acquire and far too close to a population of giant bugs. Still, at least she wished her life wasn't in any danger. Among other things. Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it. This is a dark litRPG adventure, both in terms of Katie accidentally wishing all the lights out, and also in that she loses as often as she wins, often with horrific and disturbing consequences. Luckily, Katie isn’t the sort of person to let a mere grizzly death or two get her down, and is prepared to try, try and try again to get her hands on the holy sword and finally complete her ‘simple’ fetch quest. Or perhaps—with a few resistance skills under her nightie—she might even come to enjoy losing. Not that she’d ever consider forgoing revenge, even if she did. I’ve ticked all the content warning checkboxes for this one. There’s no explicit sexual content, but there are enough references to justify the warning. Profanity happens rarely, but Katie isn’t averse to swearing when she gets particularly angry. As for gore/trauma, it doesn’t get much worse than the first few chapters, but there will be occasional chapters that have extra content warnings.

MANTIS: On Hiatus
Two young adults who were childhood friends are killed amidst a pandemic worse than our own. After many years apart, Rihelah was on her way to see Michael, hoping to rekindle their friendship on the day they would both lose their lives. The pair are unwittingly selected to represent Earth in a test set forth by godlike beings who are intrigued that our world gave rise to complex life without having been intentionally seeded by their kind. Michael and Rihelah are reincarnated as predatory insects upon a distant planet called Edon. Elves, Dwarves, Dragons and their kin, Goblins, Ogres, Humans, Lizardfolk, Orcs, and sapient arthropods known as Enkelyn all inhabit this beautiful world touched by magic. The tiny mantids must survive terrified and very much alone upon arrival, while neither is aware that the other has also been reincarnated upon the same island. Naked in their new chitinous exoskeletons, they must now brave the terrors of an alien world's food chain. Each will benefit from their years of experience on Earth, but they must somehow find a balance between old lives and new. Moderate mindsets and peaceful values from a mostly safe and privileged life on Earth must now contend and somehow coexist with the strange physiology of a new and unfamiliar body as well as the violent aggressiveness of a predator's mind. To top things off, the pair are about to find themselves struggling with their inner turmoil while swept up by terrible conflicts they know nothing about. Both endure the hardships of their new lives while attempting to understand and make proper use of a mysterious and terse video-game-like System that pops status notifications into their vision from time to time, but initially has no useful interface. Some of the options they are presented with sound enticing, but as with everything else in life, each choice has benefits and drawbacks... Author's Note: This story makes many changes to the original version, and readers of Mantid will find that many things in Mantis are new and different; especially after the first few chapters. I've learned a ton from writing like a madman, and also from the RR community. I appreciate you guys! :)
