《Fire and Stars》Chapter Three

Penelope woke up to hear running water. Today was Penelope's first day of school. Penelope got up and dressed in a pink striped shirt with black leggings. She put her blonde hair in a ponytail. Penelope went to the cafeteria as she volunteered for cafeteria duties. Penelope entered the cafeteria. The cafeteria had five tables. She went to the kitchen. When she turned on the stove, she saw something interesting in the fire. She saw her sister screaming face in the fire. Reagen seemed tortured. Amber was shocked and dropped an egg on the floor. Penelope turned the stove off and then turned it on again to see if it was still there. There was nothing. She grabbed a paper and got another two eggs.
After an hour Penelope went to her dorm to get ready for her first day. She got her backpack and kept thinking about what she saw in the fire. She walked to the university building. She went to her business class. For another hour she tried to pay attention, she tried to forget what she saw, she didn't want to ask questions. Penelope knew she was going to get butterflies in her stomach but these weren't butterflies these were scorpions that kept stinging her. This wasn't a nervous feeling this was an anxious feeling. A feeling that kept stinging her to ask questions.
After her first day of school, Penelope decided to go to a physiatrist. She got an appointment for Thursday three days from now. At night Amber asked Penelope if she to go stargazing. Penelope said yes so, they went to Evergreen Park. It was more of a camping site than a park and huge. They drove with another two of Amber's friends. A guy with a buzz cut who looked in his late 20s and a girl with a pixie cut who looked like a child instead of a 19-year-old. When the car stopped, everyone stepped out, and Penelope stopped the radio from her driver's seat. Amber ran to a young man and started kissing him. The man looked like a man in his twenties. Penelope boiled with anger and envy.

"Come on, James' tent is over there," Amber stated while pointing at a red-orange tent about medium-sized.
They all walked to the tent. The guy and girl went off to get snacks from the vending machine in the park office. That left Penelope alone while Amber and James making out. Before Penelope got any angrier, she left while rolling her eyes. Penelope went to walk by the picnic tables. Penelope was alone and looked up at the stars she saw a knife in the stars. It was just a knife but there was no knife constellation. After thirty minutes, Penelope had sat down for ten minutes of Amber and James making out, they left. Penelope sat in the driver's seat while Amber and James said goodbye. Penelope drove to the guy's house then to the girl's house. Then Penelope drove to her and Amber's dorm.
On Thursday at five, Penelope went to her psychiatrist appointment. She got there and waited for twenty minutes. When she was called, she met, Dr. Matthais. Dr.Matthais was a forty-year-old with brown eyes and gray hair that sat on his head like fuzz. Dr.Matthais and Penelope talked for an hour.
"Well, Penelope I'll talk with some of my colleges and see if you may have schizophrenia." Dr.Matthais stated. Penelope nodded and Dr. Matthais helped her with a door.
