Bala's POV-
Mirik stood at some distance with his hands turned into a fist. His weapon was turned into a stick and his opponent was stronger in both fighting and his spirit was weird too. He was probably racking his brain trying to think of his next move.
99 was slowly approaching Mirik amidst the cheers of the crowd. He might not be able to win his next fight but he wanted to win this one with full dominance. He was looking toward someone in the crowd in particular. Maybe a family member, maybe a lover. But one thing was for sure he was not going to lose this fight in front of them.
Mirik started retreating and circling around 99 as he approached him. The crowd started booing seeing such a display in front of them, a perfectly able guy was afraid of fighting someone on a crutch. 99 was also starting to lose his patience. He stopped in the middle of the arena and waited till Mirik was behind him.
As the moment arrived suddenly he attacked with his claw. Everyone thought about what he was trying to do as Mirik was far from him but they were forgetting one thing. The claw grew in size until it was as long as 10 meters.
Mirik looked at the claw with his mouth open as he dodged out of the way. The claw missed and got back to its normal size. 99 clicked his tongue as his attack missed, this was his best opportunity to take Mirik down in one hit. But the surprise attack had failed and now he had to fight him without any ace in his hand.
He now started to attack with his claw relentlessly as he grew the size of his claw and then shrink it back to normal. Sweat beads started to fall from his forehead. But all this hard work was not for naught. Mirik was dodging amidst the attacks left and right but there was only limited space in the arena. The attacks landed a few times. Even though the claw was transformed into a huge size, its sharpness was still there. Even a small contact made Mirk bleed. He had superficial cuts all over.

An attack landed on his face ripping open his face from his mouth to his ear. He grabbed his face as he shouted like an animal. 99 stopped his attacks as he heard him.
"I think you have done enough. Surrender and I will stop, I don't want to hurt you anymore. That right there was my payback for this leg. " 99 said as he pointed towards his broken leg. Mirik was still grabbing his face but when he looked up he had no expression on his face.
"You should worry about yourself. " Mirik said as he ran towards 99. It was a good idea to get closer to him but his spirit powers were to be taken seriously. He could do anything if he was in the range. But what was the range? Had Mirik found that out?
I got up from my seat as the fight was getting better and better. It was not just physical prowess, you win fights with your head. And mirk had a great head on his shoulders, maybe the tides are going to change.
