They start walking toward adept Marvin's study room. As he arrives, Kade opens the door and Vanessa leaves. Kade walks in and hesitantly stares at adept Marvins contemplating gaze. The atmosphere is ghost-silent.

"Kade, I've changed my mind and I'm giving you water modules to learn."

"I thought I wasn't allowed learn any modules?" Kade innocently asked. Thinking it's a trap set up by adept Marvin for him to admit that he knows how to use the water manipulation module, he acts innocent.

"Because I've realized that it will take to long for the Naga bloodline to mature if you only focus on theory. The Naga bloodline needs stimulation so I'll be giving you the water manipulation and hydrokinetic combat module which is an extremely rare module that even adepts don't have access to. "

Kade wanted to laugh with joy. His luck was starting to come into effect after he came to this godforsaken world.

"Don't get too excited." Adept Marvin sneered. "In half a year you will be fighting Vanessa to the death. This is the only way I've predicted the bloodline to mature enough to use for my body. So it needs to be stimulated by a life or death experience."

Kade grimaced " But if I die won't the bloodline be lost."

"Oh, don't you worry about that. The Naga bloodline is almost mature enough for me to use, a life or death fight will push it just enough. So it really won't matter if you die. Plus, I could use some entertainment." Adept Marvin burst into a fit of cruel laughter.

'This bitch…' Kade thought. 'Could I even win against Vanessa?' He shivered as recalls her dark powers that made the past Kades soul feel like he was facing the abyss.

"Not all is lost. With the Naga bloodline and the hydrokinetic combat module, I would be surprised if you weren't at least her match by the battles date. You'll also be allowed to go around the forest to train and use the first shelf of my library, that will be placed in another room if you want to learn basic modules and information. You're dismissed, wait don't try to escape while you're in the forest unless you want to experience true pain. I have this area under my surveillance."

Kade turned away unable to mask his anger, not that adept Marvin would care for the emotions of someone he deems a nonentity. He walks back to his room while thinking about his future development. 'Soul chip do you have any suggestions on my path of development, ' 'Host needs to learn an offensive module and defense module. Since hydrokinetic combat module has been obtained it suits both requirements. But, another defensive module should also be sought out. Recommended going to the library to get the modules and store essential knowledge of this world.'

Thinking of the chips recommendation Kade immediately heads toward the designated room where adept Marvins basic bookshelf will be. As he enters the room he immediately picks out the books that give information about the Adept plane and copies them into his soul chip. It turns out the adept world is one of many planes in the universe. The plane is constantly at war to conquer other planes for resources or anything else that interest the adepts.

Kade is especially interested in the oceanic plane where his bloodline originated. It seems the oceanic plane is also powerful as it is not conquered by the adept plane. There are other numerous planes that are a match for the adepts and some that are even more powerful.

For another 4 hours Kade stores and familiarize himself with information about the adept plane. After he's completed he moves on to search for defensive modules to learn. He sees lots of interesting defensive modules but narrows it down to 3 and tells the soul chip to compare them.

Water elemental body: The user can transform/reshape their elemental form as desired to adapt to varying situations. Also, improves the water affinity of the user as their body is composed of the water element.

Water element shield: The user can create shields of varying shapes and sizes out of water.

Water exoskeleton: The user can form armor around their body or a shape it from water for protection and physical boost. With training, the user could shape the armor into new forms.

Kade deliberated for a while before he first rules out the water elemental body. His naga bloodline already gives him most bonuses that the water elemental body gives because it is from the oceanic plane. Ultimately he chooses water exoskeleton because he remembered the hydrokinetic combat module incorporates water and physical combat. Even though it took an extremely long time to perfect it there were smaller tiers that could be mastered, unlike the other modules. From the information that adept Marvin told him he read more about the hydrokinetic combat module. He found that adept Marvin wasn't lying and that it is an extremely rare water adept module that could be used from the apprentice to the adept level. Even adepts could only wish for a module like this.

'It seems like adept Marvin would give me anything in order for the bloodline to be complete for him' Kade thought with a vicious smile.

Hydrokinetic combat: The user is able to utilize water with their physical combat, using it both as weapon and defense, summoning waves to batter their opponents, and also to protect themselves. Or form whips to cut or bind and other forms of water manipulation.

'Prerequisite: Advanced water manipulation user'

Kade also choose the water exoskeleton because hydrokinetic combat already has a water shield like technique to defend oneself and could even be deemed as or more powerful than water shield as it evolved with the user.

Satisfied with the modules he has chosen Kade goes to the forest to start practicing hydrokinetic combat. As he arrives at the edge of the forest he looks around, 'Wouldn't it be easy to escape' he thought to himself. But, he shivered as he remembered adept Marvins warning about the forest being monitored.

He approaches the biggest tree he can find uses as a target for his practice. 'I'm finally learning combat' Kade thought to himself as he laughed in delighted. He sits down before the tree and asks the chip 'How long will it take to analyze hydrokinetic combat.' 'The shortest estimate for the basic wave launch chapter of the module is 20 days. Since you have already reached the advanced stage of water manipulation, the gateway to hydrokinetic combat then it should be relatively easy.'

Kade starts reading the contents of hydrokinetic combat because he couldn't waste time and wait for the soul chip to finish analyzing the chapter. He also needed to have his own comprehension of the module.

The module first tells Kade to form a wave of water at least 5 meters long. With his training in water manipulation, he easily summons a 10-meter long wave. Kade has gained 3 more spirit from his continuous meditation bringing him to 30. But it takes 6 spirit to form a water wave leaving him with 24/30 spirit. Kade grimaced as he could only form 5 water waves with 30 spirit. Kade looked at the contents as it told him to slam the water wave at the object. Kade lifted his hands, the water wave floated above him, then he threw his arms forward. As the wave surged forward it smashed against the middle of the tree and a hole the size of a chest was created.

Kade opened his mouth in shock at the damage done to the tree. "Once fully completed wouldn't the hydrokinetic combat module let me annihilate any one of the same rank." Kade excitedly yelled.

Kade looked back to the module and continued reading the water wave chapter. This time he looked at the part about the water wave shield. It tells him to summon two water waves and then twist them together to create a shield.

Kade forms 2 more water waves since he accidentally released the other wave while in shock of the damage he caused. He slighted raises his hands then swiftly twist the water waves together. But as they are melding together the water waves suddenly disperse letting waves of water pour on Kade.

'Fuck, it seems that I need more practice combining the waves and manipulating them into a shield' Kade thought. 'But I've made good progress today.' Kade's spirit is nearly exhausted, so he rests by the battered tree preparing to go back to his room.

50 meters away a water clone resembling adept Marvin stands watching Kade. It watches in amusement as Kade successfully starts the first chapter of hydrokinetic combat.

" Seems like I'll have to give him a challenge soon, he's developing faster than I expected. The bloodline will need more stimulation to complete at the pace I want it." It mumbled then dispersed into water particles.
