《Worlds: The Beginning!》Chapter 2: A meeting worth looking forward to!

The extremely beautiful woman smiled and Feng became even more mesmerised. She gently placed her right hand atop of Feng’s head and started patting it. “Nice to meet you, Feng’er. From today on you are my little slave.”
Feng’s eyes became lifeless. “Yes,” he said in a monotone voice. “I am your little slave.”
“Good, good,” the extremely beautiful woman said. “It’s good that you understand. Feng’er, I will now impart upon you a cultivation technique. Cultivate using that technique and no other.”
“Yes,” Feng said in a monotone voice. “I will cultivate using the technique that you will impart upon me and no other.”
The extremely beautiful woman nodded her head. She moved her right hand from Feng’s head and touched the place between his eyebrows with her index finger. She closed her eyes and Feng followed suit. A cultivation technique by the name of Nuli appeared in his head and they both opened their eyes. She moved her index finger from between his eyebrows and lowered her arm. “I look forward to our next meeting,” she said and walked from where she came. When she disappeared from his sight, life returned to his eyes. But then, a shout entered his ears, "Don't move you little bastard!”
Feng looked towards the voice that he heard and he saw a middle-aged man from whom he stole, shouting – “I found him! Come quickly! He’s here!" while looking in all directions. “Crap,” Feng thought and turned away from the middle-aged man as he wanted to run away. But he couldn’t. He was surrounded by middle-aged men who were dressed in blue tunics and pants. He turned towards the middle-aged man from whom he stole and approached him. Stopping an arm’s length from him, he extended the apple and said as his stomach grumbled, “Take it. I am returning it to you.”

“Hmph!” the middle-aged man harrumphed and delivered a full-strength punch to Feng’s stomach.
Feng coughed out a mouthful of saliva, let go of the apple that he held in his hand and fell down to his knees and hands. He looked up at the middle-aged man and glared at him as he thought, “You’re dead!”
“Who are you glaring at, punk!” the middle-aged man shouted out and kicked without holding anything back. His foot connected with Feng’s nose and blood gushed out of it. But Feng continued glaring at him as if nothing had happened.
“You little shit!” the middle-aged man shouted out. “I am going to kill you!”
“You took the words right out of my mouth,” Feng said as he slowly stood up from his knees and hands while continuing to glare at the middle-aged man.
The middle-aged man laughed. “You are going to kill me? You? A weak—”
…
Feng slowly opened his eyes. “What happened?” he mumbled and saw a beautiful full moon hanging in the night’s clear sky. He stood up from the ground and looked around. He saw the middle-aged man from whom he stole. He was lying on the grounds with open eyes devoid of life.
“Unlike the other ones,” Feng thought. “You got what you rightfully deserved. But just like with the other ones, I can’t remember what happened after you called me weak. But how did you even catch up to me when no other man or woman from agora managed to do that? You saw me, I grabbed the apple and ran out of the agora. But before I could run out of the outer layer of the city, my neck got grabbed by someone and that someone held me in place until you caught up to me… No, that’s not right. I slammed my foot down onto that man’s who grabbed my neck – foot and he let me go. Then, I faced him. He wore blue, the colour that only someone from the middle layer of the city is allowed to wear. But then, he turned into dust and a woman came. A woman that was more beautiful than any other. She asked for my name and…” His face darkened. “She said that I am her little slave and I… and I repeated her words. After that, she told me that she would impart upon me a cultivation technique and I would need to cultivate using it and no other. She imparted it upon me and afterwards told me that she was looking forwards to our next meeting before walking away. That was when you caught up to me.” He clenched his hands into fists and looked up at the beautiful full moon. “I look forward to our next meeting as well. But it won’t be tomorrow or a day after that. We will meet only then when I will be able to turn middle-aged men dressed in blue to dust just as you can.” He looked down from the moon and walked out not only from the outer layer of the city but from the slum layer as well.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
