《That Isn't My Imaginary Friend(Cancelled)》23: Nightmares and Emotions

I never wanted this…
I never wanted such things to happen in front of me…
Why does my luck run so low?...
Who am I?...
What's the reason for my life if it's so thin?...
"Get up, you lazy idiot" A female voice greeted from out the broken shadows where it scattered with no confidence left, infiltrating my unconscious heart as it felt like a hidden conscience was trying to wake me up from my misery.
My eyes jetted towards the greeting voice, it was just Angelia blocking the flourishing sun, revealing a pure hidden smile only one person is allowed to see, a very rare smile, a beautiful one for sure.
"I'm already up" I sighed for a response, turning my attention to the mask laying across the muddy ground, slowly drowning away from the violent world.
"I mean by getting your ass off the dirty ground" Angelia grumbled.
As I pulled the mask over my face, the warmth and the fluff inside made me feel comfortable all over again, it felt like a peaceful snooze on a shivering twilight.
The wind smoothly whispered past my opened arms as I pulled myself up in a standing degree to then glance around the place I rested under, seeing the wilderness watch back at me with curiosity.
It felt fake, it felt like a nightmare, it felt miserable.
These unwanted thoughts always operated freely throughout my head, seeming to enjoy demolishing down an owner, it always feels like I'm a vulnerable someone hanging off the very edge of a crumbling cliff where a figure who always stares at me in disappointment stood over me, reflecting the body I generated, I was disappointed with myself.
"Are you okay?" Angelia's concerned voice questioned in an intrusion, snapping me out of my wandering thoughts, I darted at her worried eyes, sensing one of her hands reaching out for me.

"Ah, yes...I'm fine" I squeezed out, holding back something which compels me to suffer dearly every day.
"That's great, keep locking yourself away" Angelia chuckled, sending chills down my entire body, my heart raised its volume to one hundred percent, tramping over the chirping sounds of cheerful birds.
"H-Huh?" I stuttered while wondering my eyes back at Angelia.
It didn't look like Angelia at all, I was staring at myself.
My clone was a shadow with ruddy cut marks shimmering across its extensive body, marks that have a past I never wanted to see upon again.
I felt my feet lose its control as I stumbled onto the ground, feeling something dampened and soft, as I shifted my hands around in the unexplained puddle, I decided to turn my head in a quick movement, meeting the sight of millions of dead bodies.
Then the horrible smell swarmed into my nose, making my guts get turned around as I felt nausea, then it turned from disgust to pain.
So horrible…
So painful…
The pain of my guts twisting started swallowing my nerves away, being interpreted by a massive explosion inside my stomach.
Parts of my guts flopped outside my exploded stomach, revealing all the organs inside expanding into big, circled bombs ready to continue a long road of another bombing.
Everything started getting blurry as I saw the head of mine pop out from inside my guts, his skin had veins slither around his darkened, abyss skin like an infected snake making its way towards the empty brain, trying to take control of everything.
Blood covered his emotionless, unfazed face, he just gawked at my shaking face, not doing anything to help at all.
"Thou art the boy, thee shall nought express such worrisome, thou art a disappointment" The clone expressed motionless with its liquid black eyes watching my every move.

"What...the fuck are you saying…?" My mouth suddenly slipped out in a groaning way.
"Follow the stars, thee will find the answer thou wanted for so long" The clone communicated.
Huh…
Stars…
They're quite beautiful….
I didn't care about the pain anymore, my mindset rested in a peaceful mode, allowing me to take calm breaths, all that ran in my mind was the stars.
Curtains unfolded in front of my eyes like I was playing on a stage, the walls of the wild ripped down to the black, watery floors, transporting me into another dimension where only one light shined into the darkness, that was the wall I broke down.
Then the red glow of eyes shined on my small figure, making sure I was returning the stare at its massive eyes that had no emotion behind them but only blinks that lasted minutes.
"Now you want to help me?" I scuffed, sitting myself down in the ocean, feeling the cold attack my pointed up knees.
"I have no mindset to help thee, I'm only here to watch thou find an objective" The eyes replied in a deep, manly voice.
"Thou shut the fuck up" I responded in an angered tone as I was annoyed with the way it spoke.
"I don't tolerate rudeness, you either ignore my one-off quest and I'll end your mind core right now, or you'll follow the damn quest and find the answer you're looking for" The voice boomed, shaking the ground all around me which gradually calmed down after I reacted like a doll towards it.
"You do realise my emotion to fear doesn't exist anymore, right? Something like the controls of your voice won't scare me. It's quite useless" I calmly responded, resting my chin on my spaced out palm.
"Don't get too cocky, you don't fear in real life but you fear in dreams. I can twist that around anytime I want since I gave you that accomplishment" The voice scowled at me.
"What do you mean?" I curiously asked, pointing my chin upwards to face its bright eyes.
"Haha, now you're curious? I guess the truth of the reasons you're a cocky bastard behind the fake mask is because I control how your emotions will work" The voice once again explained proudly, not hiding away its twisted laugh that mirrored all around the discarded room.
"Control?" I mumbled confusedly.
"I am your emotions, you simple dumbass"
