Mael easily killed the remaining goblins and the Queen because of the king's absence.
He sat down to rest, a sudden dark light glows coming from his wounds, and magically healed them completely.
"I better check my skills to a checker, I don't know what's happening to my body." Mael said. He breathed deeply and closed his eyes to relax.
He is trying to relax in a place with so many dead goblins lying around.
After a few minutes,
Mael beheaded the slayed corpse of the queen, as for the minions, he burned them all, like he did with the king.
So that the adventurers can't loot the remains of goblins. This is the solution to their greediness.

Mael arrives in the quest house, carrying a head wrapped in a cloth full of blood.
Ema ran to Mael while crying, tears of joy, she hugged Mael, and Mael patted her head saying " It's okay, you'll be safe now. ".
DUG! DUG! Big footsteps can be heard inside the house, Many of them.
BAAM! The door was kicked to open it.
There's a sudden commotion, the guards and the adventurers arrive.
"That's him, catch him guards!" Someone said.
"He tried to kill us!"
"Catch him!"
"Murderer!"
The guards ran to Mael to catch him.
Mael closed his eyes, he raised the head of the Goblin Queen, everyone's shocked. They can't believe what they saw, to kill the queen, you must kill the king first. It takes 10 silver rank adventurers to kill a goblin king.
"STOP! HE'S OUR HERO!" Ema shouted, blocked the guards with his tiny body.
The collector steps in, "Stop guards, Ema tell them what really happened."
So Ema told the guards what happened.

The guards looked at the adventurers with sharp eyes, and arrested them, go to a trial in court.

"Brother Mael, let's go to my village." Ema said with sparkling eyes, you can't say .
Mael can't do anything so he just nodded.
"I'll just go to the checker after this." Mael thought.

But while it may just be a game to those overseeing it, it is a genuine war for survival to those participating in it where billions of real lives will go to the victor of whoever wins, and many will die before the game is over. Quick Author's Notes: System inspired by Civilization, Endless Legend, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings 2. Combat mechanics inspired by the Total War series. Slow-paced with many long-term plans. Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.
