Beep Beep Beep

I shoot up out of bed hearing my alarm buzzing. Turning it off, I run my fingers over my eyes and lay back down in bed before looking over to my side. There is a woman here from last night but I couldn't remember her name. Her brunette curls are sprawled out over the pillow and she is laying on her stomach. She didn't do anything for me last night. She was just convenient. I left her there and got up from my bed throwing on a pair of sweatpants before walking out of my room and into my home office. 

"Sir, I apologize for interrupting however your son is not wanting to eat his breakfast," my housemaid Tessa says.

"I will take care of him, you take care of the woman that is still currently in my room."

"Right away sir." She bows and exits my office. My staff knows my ways and doesn't ask any questions. Tessa and Leo are the only two I will talk to directly. They have been with me for many years now. 

I walk out of my office and into my son's room. My son, Luca, is sitting by his window staring out. He is 5 years old and has my dark hair and blue eyes. He is very reserved and closed off, showing very little emotions. His mother left him in the hospital shortly after giving birth looking for her next fix. I still can not believe that a woman would just leave her son. I am closed off due to my past but I didn't wish my son to be like that. 

"Luca.." I begin walking towards him "Why am I told you don't want to eat?" 

He looks over at me and just shrugs then continues looking out the window. I sit down beside him and my gaze following his. The waves are rolling in from the ocean. I was about to continue when my cell phone starts ringing. I quickly stand up and answer it. 

"Sanford." I state without checking the ID.

"Hey man, we got a business deal tonight so don't make plans." Theo's voice comes blaring through my phone. 

"What deal?" I state in all business tone. 

"The contract with Japanese investors got moved up. We are meeting at Midnight til Sunrise tonight at 7." 

"I'll be ready." I hang up not giving him a farewell. Turning back to Luca, he is not there anymore. Great father of the year moment. I sigh and go back towards my office to begin sifting through my emails and reading through some of the business proposals. Tessa brings me a lunch to my office which I just give her a nod in response.

"Time to go man." Theo says barging into my office. I roll my eyes at my best friend.

"The door was closed for a reason." I state in a bored tone. He waves his hand dismissively towards me.

"Whatever, we got to get going." He sits down in one of my office chairs and props his feet up on my desk. My eyes glaring at him which in return just causes him to smirk. "Don't give me that look, you know it has no effect on me." 

"Get your feet OFF of my desk." I slowly begin to stand up and watch him pick his feet up before placing them back on the ground.

"Come on, we need to get going. Where's my nephew?" He says standing up and and brushing off his legs. We both begin walking out of my office. 

"I believe he is playing with Leo." 

I go and get ready while I watch Theo walk off towards Luca's room. I get ready dressing in a nice Armani suit and walk back towards my son's room to see him putting a puzzle together with Theo. Theo is trying to get him to talk but I can see the struggle. 

"Luca we have to go out for the night, make sure you listen to Tessa & Leo." My feet taking me to him placing a kiss on his forehead. 

"Goodnight Dad!" He says while still concentrating on his puzzle.

Theo and I leave and drive towards the club. Once we arrive, they let us right in and we walk towards the VIP area. Once we get seated a waitress comes by and gets our drinks. She is trying to hard with bending over in her short shorts. I know she is only flirting with me do to my money. Everyone woman is greedy, only after one thing in the end. That's why I use them and toss 'em. I look over to see Theo enjoying the view. I roll my eyes as he winks at the waitress causing her to giggle. 

"I'm going to the bar man, I'll be back in a sec." I state standing up heading towards the bar. I'm halfway there when I hear someone walk up onto the stage. 

"Alright everyone, your in for a treat tonight! Our own Sunrise has return to sing for us tonight." I stop for a moment and stand there, everyone else's attention is the on the man as well.

"Here she is everyone- Please welcome... Sunrise!" He announces while a petite long blonde gets pushed onto the stage. Wow she has beautiful curves, not to skinny and has an athletic build. Her long blonde hair falls to her waist line causing her to look sexy as hell. She turns towards the crowd and I see the most beautiful gorgeous eyes I have ever seen. Damn...

"Hi everyone, I apologize I didn't know I would be singing tonight but I will sing one of my favorites." She says while trying to compose her nerves. 

She closes her eyes and begins singing the song with a voice like a siren causing me to just continue being entranced by her. She is to short for my tall frame but one can't deny she is gorgeous and her voice is just icing on the cake.

She opens her eyes and they lock with mine. I see so many emotions in them but I'll can do is continue listening to her while she continues singing. We continue looking at each other as if we are the only two in the room. Her siren voice and hypnotic voice entrapping me.

She finishes and when the clapping begins she finally pulls away from our stare down. Blinking multiple times, I walk off to the bar to grab a beer since the waitress was still flirting with Theo. I look back up to the stage to see the owner giving the singer a hug. 

I walk back towards the entrance when I see the Japanese investors walk in. Throughout the meeting, I continue to glance to the bar where I see that singer working. She really is an incredible sight to behold. What the hell am I thinking? She's just a woman. I shake my head and try to refocus on the meeting. After the meeting begins to wrap up, I decide I will go to the bar to introduce myself. I walk up to it but don't see her in sight. 

"Hey man, how can I help you?" The guy behind the bar hollers at me.

"Where is the woman who was here earlier?" I ask leaning over a little so he can hear me better.

"Sorry man, she left already." 

Well shit, that plan failed. 

He continues to clean his glass while I stand there for a minute lost in my thoughts. Theo comes up and taps me on my shoulder letting me know that he is ready to head out. I nod my head and get up from the bar stool still lost in my thoughts on a particular blonde.
