- Heather's POV

We are currently on our way to my home. Xavier, Luca and I are in the back. George is setting next to the driver in the front. Thank god when I came to visit Xavier, I kept Luca with George in the lobby. I didn't want him to see what all happened with that woman or what came after. I internally grin at our actions. Never did I think I would feel the need to slap someone nor the need to claim my dominance. I feel elated to say the least. I think Xavier enjoyed it just as much as me.

I turn towards the window biting my index finger still smiling. Xavier's hand finding it's way to the back of my head. I turn towards him seeing a knowing grin on his face as well. A soft chuckle escapes me making his grin grow.

"Momma, are you coming home with us?" I look down between us to see my lil man looking up at me with his big blue pleading eyes.

"I'm sorry sweetie, I'm going to stay with Aunt Cami tonight." I see him nod his head surprisingly not looking to upset. I smile at him kissing his head and hugging him to my torso.

"Momma, when are you going to stay with us all the time?" My eyes go slightly wide and I can see from the corner of my Xavier looking at me. I turn and look at him for guidance on how to answer. His eyes holding pure determination. I gulp seeing his fierce eyes.

"Soon son... soon." Xavier says still holding my gaze answering for me. My breathing picked up and Xavier leaned over kissing my forehead. I closed my eyes enjoying his comfort. I feel happy, safe, and loved.

The car comes to a stop. We all look at the window seeing us parked in my driveway. Xavier got out first placing his hand out to help me while Luca has climbed into my arms. I take his hand allowing him to pull me up. George walking towards us. Xavier lifts his hand stopping him mid step. He puts his hand at the small of my back leading me towards my door. I begin digging for my keys when my door swings open. Luca looks up from my arms to a beaming Cami. She smiles widely with out-stretched arms. Luca lunges from my arms into hers. I giggle watching their exchange. Cami smiles and winks at me before turning around walking away with Luca still in her arms. I roll my eyes but smile none the less.

"Looks like you have competition." Xavier whispers into my ear while I feel him wrap his arm around my waist. I nudge his shoulder which doesn't even faze him. I huff while folding my arms across my chest. Both of his arms find there way around me. I feel his chest vibrate with laughter hugging me tightly to his frame. I lay my head back on his chest when I see Nicholas come out of our kitchen. He waves at me and continues walking over to Cami who is playing with Luca on the couch.

"Sweetheart, are you sure you don't want to come back with us?" I can hear the underlining worry in his voice. I lay my arms over his and gently rub his arms. I give him a reassuring squeeze tilting my hed up at him. He sighs and kisses my head.

"Xavier, about what you said in the car..." I trail off waiting for him to comment.

"I meant what I said." His determination should terrify me but somehow it only warms me. It has only been a short amount of time since I have met him. Although I was weary at first, the undeniable attraction and connection I have exceeds any fears. I still can't believe how different my life is now to where it was a year ago. I'm brought out of my thoughts when I feel Luca run up to my legs. I lean down picking him up into my arms placing him on my hip. Xavier still firmly behind me.

"Damn Cami, you weren't kidding." Nicholas says. I look up at him standing beside a grinning Cami. I raise an eyebrow in question to Nicholas. He just shakes his head chuckling.

"So H, do I get the pleasure of your company tonight?" Cami ask.

"Sadly yes." Xavier grumbles from behind me. Cami and Nicholas chuckle causing me to turn pink.

"Aww, lighten up Xavier. It's only for the night." Cami says still smiling. I feel Xavier pull us further into his chest. I close my eyes and relish in his warmth.

"Luca, come give me a kiss." Cami says. Luca wiggles out of my arms running back to Cami. Xavier swiftly turns me around in his arms pressing his forehead to mine. His eyes looking deeply into mine. I feel one arm securely wrapped to me and the other on the base of my neck. Our bodies pressed together with no exsisting space. I shudder under his gaze. The corners of his mouth turning up at my body's reaction to him.

"Sweetheart, promise you will call if you need anything." I nod my head but he grips my neck more firmly. I realize he wants me to speak.

"I promise." He leans down to my lips giving me a sensual long kiss that has my toes curling. Everything around seems to vanish other than him. I continue to allow the kiss to consume me.

"Mom, why is dad eating you?"

Just like that, my trance is broken. I lean back while Cami and Nicholas attempt to swallow their laughter. I hide my face in Xavier's chest while he laughs.

"Come on Luca, let's leave mom to her girls night." Xavier says over my head. He gives me one more kiss on the head before releasing me. Luca runs back to me giving me a bear tight hug. I pull him just as tight to me. He kisses my cheek.

"Love you lil man." I say softly making him smile.

"Love you too momma." I kiss him all over his face before releasing him to go to his dad.

"See you tomorrow Love." I watch as they walk out hand in hand.
