"What the hell do you mean you're going in there alone?" Namjoon asked in an angry manner. I couldn't tell if he was worried for me or mad at me for deciding this.
"Just like it sounds—I'm going in alone." I said, I might've sounded dumb, but Jungkook and I said that we'd save each other if something happened.
"What if he's de-"
"Don't fucking say that, Taehyung. I'm not letting him go unless you actually kill me, but it's funny because I really thought that you out of all people would at least believe me." I scoffed.
"You know what, I can't believe that none of you are taking my side. Isn't Jungkook your damn family? Wasn't he with you longer than you ever knew me?" I continued while they all stayed quiet.
"Of course we care, we just don't want you getting hurt." Hoseok said.
"Bullshit, I couldn't care any less. I just... I want him. I want him alive because I love him and I can't lose him like I've already lost everyone else that cared for me like no other. You know they died because of me?" I rambled on.
"Remember what he told you, Y/N? He told you that you have to love yourself first before you love someone else, you not caring about yourself to save him is against everything he's told you." Taehyung said. It was like a one on one argument with him since everyone else was just listening in.
I stayed quiet for a moment. "You know what, I'm done trying to convince everyone. It's like I'm talking to children. You're all so stubborn and you don't listen, you don't help others even if they're your family... If you all don't want to then I don't care, I'll go myself." I said it all in anger, even though I knew I wouldn't make it alone. All I could focus on is saving Jungkook.

"And if I die trying, then at least I know I put in the effort."
I put in the a barrel of ammo, putting a few more in my vest pockets. This might not be enough for the amount of men left. I huffed in anger.
"Since you're not going," I made sure to exaggerate the sentence. "Can you both give me a few barrels of ammo?" I looked at both Namjoon and Seokjin.
"You're really going?" Seokjin sighed.
"Did it sound like I was joking?" I asked in a plain tone—they stayed quiet. "Exactly, so please just give me some of your ammo."
Seokjin deeply sighed before grabbing a few barrels from his vest, but before he was able to give it to me Namjoon slapped his hand away. "No."
"What do you mean no? Oh, so you want me to die?" I scoffed. I am not in the mood to be messed with, especially with the time we have left. The time has left.
"He'll be needing it." Namjoon said sternly.
"It's not like you're even coming with m-" Namjoon interrupted me.
"You were right, we will help you. You know you can't go alone and save him just like that. Whether the others agree or not, we will come with you." He sighed. "We will talk more about this later, when we win.
Seokjin nodded, agreeing as well.
"They'll be expecting us through the front door, so we enter through the window like we were suppose to in the beginning and we eliminate those near the window. After that, we need to take cover because the others will realize where we are. Don't forget to reload, as well." Namjoon quickly said.
"Don't do this, Y/N." Yoongi said.
"I don't have a choice now, do I?" I said, ignoring the comments after I said that. I couldn't let them stop me.

I sighed. "This is it," I murmured.
"Now."
A loud crack was heard before the bullet pierced straight through the window. The glass shattered everywhere, and everything went by too quick.
We all ran through the shattered window—which was now just a window frame. I could tell that the men weren't properly trained since they fortunately missed any of us.
We all took a glance before Seokjin and I took the men on the left while Namjoon went to the right where there were less men. We all kept our finger on the trigger since it was a shoot-to-kill mission. At the same time, our eyes were also wandering to find any sort of cover.
My eyes were wandering for too long to realize a man tackling me into the ground. Fuck.
My instincts kicked in quickly as I kicked him in the nuts, buying myself some time to get up. I grabbed my gun that was on the ground and aimed it at his head. He hung his head low, slowly lifting it up. If I look at him in the eyes I won't be able to shoot him. Right before he looks up, I pull the trigger and his body goes limp.
I shake the thought of myself being a murderer out of my head. Today, I'm not Lee Y/N, I'm their worst nightmare. My horrid face turned into a fierce one. Not giving a shit—if they take what's mine, I'll give them hell.
We all ran behind a big crater, each of us reloading. The men from the other side had already started shooting at us. I'm guessing most of the bullets had reflected off the crater, since none of us has gotten shot.
"Ammo count," Namjoon said breathily.
"I've got two barrels and one currently in use." I answered.
"I've got two as well." Seokjin said.
"I've got three." Namjoon replied.
"As long as we work together, it'll be enough to kill all the men coming to us now. If we're lucky, we might be able to have a little to eliminate the ones that are with Jungkook and Jimin." We all nodded. If only the others were with us.
"Make this count." Namjoon said to the both of us. We nodded, taking our positions behind the crater.
"I can't find an opening," Seokjin said, struggling.
"Let's wait them out, they don't have an unlimited amount of ammo." Namjoon replied.
It's just now that I realized that the others were panicking on the comm, afraid that I was dead. They don't know that I've gotten some help.
"Y/N just think over what you're doing, you could get killed!" Yoongi yelled. I never realized how much Yoongi cared for me—especially since I always thought he hated me at first.
I ignored their comments and panicking voices. I cocked my gun, placing one knee to the ground. If anyone came to this area, they'd get shot. It was funny though, because instead of just coming to us—they shot at us. It wouldn't get them anywhere, though.
Soon the bullet sounds that I had gotten use to slowly cut off, until it stopped. No sound, no footsteps.
"What the hell?"

Sunchasers
As Arthur opens his eyes, he finds himself in an unknown place, smack-dab in the middle of nowhere, without anything to help him survive save for a set of pyjamas and little knowledge of outdoors survival. Follow his steps as he tries to figure out where he is, and what will become of him. Sunchasers is a Fantasy novel with a sprinkle of lightweight sort of LitRPG (i.e. without Classes or Stats). While the first ten or so chapters of Book I are about Arthur's lonesome survival, the rest of the story focuses more on exploration and the protagonist will come in contact with other people quite often. The novel is being written in British English and using the metrics system. (I do not own the Cover) Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy this journey! I have a Discord Server, Join Here!
