《PEACH [BXB/little space]》Work

The ride was about thirty minutes long. They stopped at a huge building and parked there. All the cars were of really high brands and the place looked and smelled clean.
They entered the lobby and proceeded onto the elevator. It was huge, could probably fit twenty people or even more. And it smelled like lavender. It had a mirror, and a small sofa with a table that had magazines. The elevator also played relaxing music as well but there was an option on the button pad that allowed you to change the radio station.
It stopped on the eighth floor and they stepped out. Everywhere he stepped was mesmerising. He felt like Alice In Wonderland cause he had no idea what was coming next.
Simon stopped at a huge door, the biggest one Aaron had seen so far. They entered the room and were welcomed by many people moving in all sorts of directions, some on the phones, others running around with clothes etc.
One person in particular caught Aaron's attention. She sat somewhere in the middle of the room where the sofa and coffee table were and had her legs crossed with a glass in hand and a small brown and white dog in her lap.
Simon made his way to her Aaron did the same. Looking closer, she was gorgeous, she had long pink hair that had strands of darker shades of pink and bangs, her eyes were a soft hazel shade with tan-ish skin.
"Aerial?" Simon said and reached his hand out to her.
"And I'm guess you're Mr. Stork then." She said back, her hand petting the pretty puppy.
"Yes, I am indeed. Simon Stork." Simon nodded.
"You show up late and expect me to give you a handshake? What sort of manners does this company have?" She rolled her eyes, ignoring Simon's hand and looking away.
Simon smiled and brought his hand back. "With all due respect, I am actually just on time. You must've arrived a little earlier so at least you're not the lazy type." Her eyes widened and she scoffed.
She trailed her eyes and they landed on Aaron. He jumped a bit and adverted his gaze down to Casper.
"Is he a model too?" She asked, a scorn of laughter following after. "He looks like Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga had a baby, but they kept him a secret and threw him out for how hideous he turned out." She chuckled even louder.

Aaron took a step back. He knew he should never have tagged along. "Ms Aerial, I'd appreciate it if you don't say such things about someone else before taking a good look at yourself. If this is how you're going to act, I could very well replace you with much prettier and professional models, That wouldn't be too hard to find cause even Casper would be a much better candidate." Simon shot and turned to face Aaron. "Don't worry about her, she's just bored." Simon said sweetly while cupping Aaron's cheeks.
As they worked on the photo shoot, Aaron and Casper stayed behind on the sofa along with Aerial's dog whom she called 'ladybug'. She was very quiet and chill—couldn't say the same for her owner—and seemed to be making good friends with Casper.
Simon had told the ladies to bring snacks for Aaron as he waited so he currently had a large plate with brownies and cake pops and variations of baked desserts. Of course within all that were Simons delicious lemon squares.
"Careful, eat anymore of that sweet crap and you'll be mistaken for a sumo wrestler." He heard Aerial's voice say.
Simon had called for a fifteen minute break. "Move away, there's only one sofa and there's no way in hell I'll be able to fit with your fat-ass." She remarked.
Aaron didn't want to argue with her so he stood up and plopped himself on the floor, carefully placing the lemon square in his hands and sitting there in silence.
"Just look at you, you think you're all that just because that Simon is babying you. You make me sick." She scoffed and grabbed the cup of tea that was on the table, taking a sip and rolling her eyes at him.
Aaron didn't say anything. He didn't wanna make her mad or else she would make Simon look bad. "Can you even hear me? You look so dumb right now you know. It amazes me wonder why the biggest modelling agency in the country would let such a disgusting piece of trash walk through their doors." She jeered.
Aaron was feeling worse and worse as time proceeded. Every word that came out of Aerial's mouth was doing nothing but insulting him and pointing out every fault that he had. He just wished everything would be over so they can head back home.
Break time was over and she was taken into the dressing room to get changed. He felt a hand on his shoulder, causing him to jump abruptly and turning his head to the side. "Whoa, I didn't mean to scare you." Simon apologised after meeting the boys frightened eyes. "Why are you sitting on the floor?" He asked once he noticed.

"I-I like it. It's easier to play with Casper this way." He lied and forced a smile.
"Alright," Simon trailed, raising a questioning brow. "Anyway, if there's anything else you want to eat, just ask Mariam, she's the girl in the red barrette." Simon pointed at the said women.
"It's okay, I'm not that hungry anymore." Aaron shook his head, smile still present.
"If you say so. I'll be on set if you need me, just call out my name and I'll be here." Simon said and patted Aaron's shoulder before walking back.
A few more hours passed and Aaron was beginning to feel a bit sleepy. He had talked to a few of the staff members, they were all so nice, except for typical Aerial of course.
Simon had suggested he take a nap in his office and had Mariam show him the way. Simon's office was pretty descent sized and had the blue and white aesthetic going on just like his house.
"Just lay down on the couch and be careful not to touch anything. Everything in here costs more than my entire life savings." Mariam said with the chuckle. She handed the blankets she had brought with her to Aaron and left the room.
He did as he was told and carefully placed himself on the sofa.
He was awaken shortly after when he heard the door open. He lifted his body up and rubbed his eyes to get rid of the sleep and looked over at the door.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" It was Aerial again. But this time, some guy who Aaron had seen in the studio had his hands wrapped around her waist.
"I asked you a question, do you want me to repeat myself." She said with an expression of disgust.
"He's the kid Simon brought here, right?" The man said.
"I don't get what's so special about him. Your boss has terrible taste." She rolled her eyes and folded her arms over her chest.
She walked up to Aaron and pulled him by his arm. "Get the fuck out!" She barked as she yanked him off the sofa.
"He's so weak, must be some lame high school kid." The guy who stood by the door said with his hands folded and a smirk on his lips.
He walked over to them and lifted Aaron's head up by his chin. "Hey kid, what are you to Simon? I know damn well he doesn't have a brother and you look like a baby so there's no way you're his boyfriend..." he trailed his eyes up and down Aaron's body. "Are you just some homeless dropout he picked up off the streets?"
Jackpot!
Aaron knew it was true, but hearing it being said in a such a way made him feel even worse. He took a step back away from the guy and looked down.
Aerial, who had been standing behind him, pulled his hair and made him turn around. "You little fucker, I saw you talking to Simon before so I know you're not a mute." She said and tightened her grip on his hair.
"What? Think you're too cool to talk to us?" The guy who was now behind him said and swung his arm across Aaron's shoulder. "Hey come on, we're cool right?" He gave a him weird smile and lightly slapped Aaron's cheek a couple of times.
He was taught well. Grandmother used to tell him, "Never speak when you're being scolded!" She would tell him that when you spoke, it was as if you were challenging them in some way and they would provoke you even more.
He wanted to speak up, but the bad memories stopped him. He was used to it, his uncles and aunts always treated him that way, he wasn't oblivious to that scary and painful feeling.
The guys little slaps become more and more painful. The worse part was the fact that the two were having a conversation that had absolutely nothing to do with him while they hit and pulled his hair.
"Let me..." he suddenly said, catching both of them off guard.
"The fuck you say?" The guy snapped.
"I think he wants us to let him go." Aerial laughed. "Why now? The party is just starting." She looked down at him with a smile.

This must be in the hidden gems collection " -3ndlesslove"This was, by far, the best one I've read. It just resonated with me when it came to Noah's POV. It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
