(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"That didn't go as expected." Ciel said awkwardly with Sebastian right behind him as we go out of the carriage. I let out a 'mhmm' in acknowledgement and opened the door to the manor, not even turning around to look at him. To be honest, I was disappointed in myself. How many times had I thought of putting Alois in his place when I first watched the anime, but when he was right in front of me, I froze. Why?

A gentle tug on my wrist snapped me out of my thoughts. I quickly turned to the direction of the owner and saw Sebastian. He pulled me to an empty hallway while Ciel stared at us in confusion, before going up the stairs. Suddenly he stopped and faced me. " Are you alright?", he asked with an unusual caring tone in his voice.

"Yeah I'm fine. What's it to you?" I quickly snapped back. I covered my mouth and widened my eyes. I didn't mean to say it like that.. it's like something snapped in my head and forced me to say that. What's wrong with me today? "I-I'm sorry I didn't mean for it to come out like that." I apologetically said while running my hand through my hair trying to soothe the forming headache.

Sebastian studied me for a while and while I might've yelled at him for doing that earlier, I didn't have the energy to do that right now. "(Y/N), you haven't been yourself these past few weeks. You don't talk as much and your soul is...getting weaker." Sebastian said worriedly.

"What do you mean weaker, Sebastian?" I asked while my eyes widened.

"When you first came here your soul was bright, colorful, and strong, but now the colors are fading and getting dull. Your presence isn't as strong as before. Something is wrong."

I leaned against the wall and sighed, letting my head hang. Of course. Just what I needed, me becoming weaker than I already am. Adding to that, I haven't told anyone that my memories of like back at home are becoming...fuzzy. What if I start to forget everything? What if one day I forget life in the 21st century or even all the people here? I feel tears starting to pool in my eyes in frustration.

Not right now (Y/N). You don't have any weaknesses, remember?

I blinked a couple of times and felt the tears go away. Sebastian's hand gently grabbed my chin and tilted it up. His face was close but instead of the usual smirk adorning it, there was sincerity. "(Y/N), I promise to do everything in my power to find out what's happening. If I didn't, what kind of butler would I be?".

I let out a small chuckle and took his hand off my chin. "You are too close for comfort, please step away before I kick you into another dimension." I said jokingly.

"That's the (Y/N) I know, " Sebastian said as his signature smirk appeared before he helped me stand up. "We will have to inform the Young Master. Would you like me to do it?" Sebastian asked.

"No it's fine I can do it. I'll even go do it right now." I said before walking out of the hall. But right before reaching the stairs I looked back , "Thank you, Sebastian, for everything." I sincerely said with a small smile. Sebastian gave gave a small bow and walked away.

I looked at the stairs and noticed that everything looked like it was swaying. I rubbed my eyes before walking up the stairs, making sure to hold onto railing. I made it to the top and placed my hand on the wall for support suddenly feeling very weak. Everything started to sway as I walked down the longer than usual corridor. I felt really hot and the dizziness I was starting to feel wasn't helping. I made it to Ciel's door and knocked. The coolness of the door felt nice against my hot skin. Shuffling was heard on the other side as I waited for Ciel to open it.

Finally the door swung open and an annoyed Ciel appeared. "What do you want (Y/N)?"

"C-Ciel I need to talk to you about somethi-" I started to slur out but I couldn't finish because of the overwhelming urge to close my eyes.

"What?" Ciel asked before leaning down to look at my face . My eyes started droop and my forehead touched his. Ciel's eye widened as he brought his hand to my forehead.

"(Y/N), you're burning up! Are you feeling okay?" Ciel asked worriedly as he looked at me. I couldn't respond to his question as I suddenly collapsed on the floor.

Ciel's mouth was moving quickly , but no sounds came out. The panicked expression he had frightening me even more than I already was. I slowly moved my hand on top of Ciel's hand in attempt to calm him but then, my vision went black.
