《I'm Glad You Found Me [mpreg]》seven

Caelum rests his head against the glass sleepily, but finds it hard to actually close his eyes and give in. Behind him, Aerglo is fast asleep with light snores escaping xem. He's almost envious that Aerglo can sleep, but then small whimpers of pain escape xem and guilt washes over him.
"Are you not sleeping, eno elttil?" Aerglo asks, voice rough.
Caelum jerks, his heartbeat skyrocketing at the sudden sound of xyrs voice, "I thought you were sleeping."
"Are you not going to sleep?" Aerglo repeats.
"I... I'm not tired," he lies, hating the yawn that falls from his lips contradicting him.
He hears the bed creak and he turns to watch Aerglo approach him. Xe's gait is slow, xyr eyes droopy and face flushed with a returning fever.
"What is wrong, eno elttil?"
Caelum shrugs, choosing to ignore the odd nickname bestowed on him, "I just can't sleep."
"Why is that?"
"I have a sleeping disorder, it's called insomnia," he whispers, "and it's hard to sleep most nights."
He omits the part that the best nights of sleep he's had thus far, were by xyrs side.
Aerglo takes a seat beside him and turns to look at the sky. There's a look of contemplation on xyrs face and Caelum can't help but stare.
He knows that this isn't xyrs true form, knows that to anyone else xe looks human. But he still finds xem otherworldly.
And after stealing glances of the alien, Caelum notices something.
"Aerglo," he whispers.
The alien tilts xyr head curiously.
"Look," he points urgently.
Caelum gets on his knees and crawls toward the alien before he pulls down the neck of the t-shirt Aerglo is wearing. His fingers trace the deadly veins gently, eyes filled with excitement and relief.

"They're fading!"
Xe looks down where Caelum's fingers touch xyr skin reverently. Xe stares just as amazed at the new discovery.
Caelum, in his giddiness, nearly topples off the alien. Instinctively, xyrs hand reaches out to land on Caelum's hip, steadying the human before he can fall and hurt himself.
An embarrassed blush overtakes the small human's cheeks as he apologizes with a stuttered, "So-Sorry."
"It is alright, eno elttil," Aerglo assures, "and thank you."
"What for? I didn't do anything," Caelum argues weakly, still awkwardly poised over xem.
"You have helped me when you did not have to, and because of you I will soon be able to find my comrades and hopefully, return home," the alien counters.
Caelum gives xem a sad smile, "I did what I would've wanted anyone to do for me."
Aerglo frowns at that, feeling the emotions of the boy much stronger than before. It's almost overwhelming, the sadness that rolls off of him.
"Eno elttil," xe coos distracting him from whatever it is that's making him sad, "Truly, thank you."
Caelum nods, feigning a happier smile, "You're welcome, Aerglo."
