《Him & I (Queen Shadow #1)》Chapter 11 (EDITED)

I saw Lincoln was tied up to a chair bleeding he had knife cuts all over his stomach and Cassandra stood there with a huge knife alongside two men that was holding guns. I tried to steady my breathing so they wouldn't notice me, suddenly a gunshot cut through the eery silence then it was followed by a thud the tears started to full and I quickly bit my knuckle to try and choke back the sobs that were trying to escape past my lips.
Taking a few deep breaths, I quietly peeked my head around the corner I saw the man that had asked me to dance clutching his leg where the bullet had pierced his skin his short blonde hair which was once nicely styled was now all dishevelled. I locked eyes with Lincoln and saw a look of shock take over his face. Lincoln had been nothing but an asshole since I had got here but seeing him there hurt and helpless made me angry and I didn't know what else to do. There was to many of them in the room to take them at once by myself.
So I had to make at least one of the three come out here, I looked down the hall to see a metal bucket at the end. I quietly tip toed and kicked at the bucket and let out a cry of pain falling down very dramatically hoping to draw their attention to me. this could end two ways one terribly or the other option is it ends perfectly.
I saw Cassandra and one of the men come out of the doorway they looked alert and when Cassandra saw me, but the alert looks soon turned to confusion.
"This area is not for customers girl" the tall brooding man said to me, I looked up at them shyly.
"I am so sorry the man that I went with when I left the bar left me and then this other guy came up to me and he was a real creep so I ran" I stuttered out looking as innocent as I can.
"I will just go now" I said shakily trying to get up but "falling" back over and letting out a mimic of pain hoping Cassandra would step in.

"No take her to one of the spare VIP rooms I knew her she is fine let her rest that ankle" she ordered in return the man nodded his head and came to help me.
"Oh no Cassandra, I don't want to be any trouble" I said to her.
"Nonsense, Jim here will look after you whatever you need ok honey" she said "But If you will excuse me I have business to attend to" she said walking back into the room and Jim as Cassandra called him started helping me further down the hall and into a room that was decorated fancy, it had big couches and a huge tv as well as a personal bar area.
The man sat me down on the and went over to behind the bar and lent down behind the bench. I had no clue what I was doing I had no plan, but I knew I had to somehow take them down one by one otherwise I will end up like Lincoln. I was terrified I didn't want to hurt anybody but if I can knock them out long enough to get Lincoln and blondie out. Then Jeremy and Bill can deal with them.
I heard a fridge shut and snapped my attention back to the man who was now taking long strides towards me.
"Here is some ice put it on your ankle, I will be back sit right here and don't move out of this room, understand?" he commanded me I nodded my head and took the ice from his hand and putting it on my "hurt" ankle. He walked out the door and I am guessing back to the room where Lincoln and blondie was.
Once I heard the door latch, I looked around the room to see if there was anything I could use knock him out. Who knows maybe I could find a frying pan and do a Rapunzel on him. After looking all around the sitting area for a while I found nothing. Sighing I leaned on the behind the bar on the bench and because of the frustration I felt I flung my knee into the cupboard under neath the bench. It suddenly flew open letting out a squeak of surprise I jumped back, after realizing it was just the cupboard I relaxed and after taking a few deep breaths I lent down and by pure luck there was a bottle of chloroform and a rag.

Gosh only knows who they have used this on, I have never in my life used this, but I have seen heaps of crime shows when the kidnapper uses this. So, I guess I can only hope I do this right because this was dangerous and there was no time for hesitation. I grabbed the bottle and rag out of the cupboard when I heard heavy footsteps, I rushed to stand near the door so when he comes through, he won't be excepting a thing.
I steady my heavy breathing once again and waited for the door to swing open and if right on cue in walks mister bald you can see him moving his head looking for me. Seeing as he was distracted, I took this as my chance to get him. Running up and jumping on his back putting the rag to his nose. He was a very tall man so I wouldn't be able to reach him if I hadn't jumped on his back. But the bad thing about it was that when he started falling, I went with him.
I quickly jumped off stumbling a little to catch my balance. After regaining my posture, I ran out of the room and carefully made my way through the halls trying to make sure I don't make any noise to catch their attention.
By the time I reached the room my whole body was trembling with fear. This whole predicament I have landed myself in is outrageous. I was supposed to never be involved with this side of things. Then it started with just distracting and here I am now going to have to gosh knows what. Ok Bella don't think to the worst conclusion let's think of the best outcome I said to myself.
Let's face it there is no best outcome, let's just get this over with. I stuck my head around the corner to see in the room. Cassandra was nowhere to be seen but the other tall man that was with her was still standing there Lincoln looked drowsy and un alert. I knew I had to do something now otherwise he may not make it with how fast his wounds are bleeding. I saw the guy grab a knife off the table and before he could get to Lincoln I ran into the room in a blind haze.
"Put the knife down" I said to him the blond headed guy that I had danced with previously snapped his head towards me. The bald guy stopped in his place.
"What are you going to do about it?" he said not bothering to turn around.
"Turn around, and I will show you" I said to him steeping closer.
Right as he turned around, I clenched my right fist into the position Jeremy had trained me to do and as soon as I saw his cheek, I swung my fist to come in contact with his jaw, the force of the hit made him go stumbling back. He dropped the knife and fell to the ground, he appeared knocked out I was told I hit hard but not that hard to knock someone out.
I grabbed the knife off the ground and went over to untie Lincoln using the knife I cut the ropes seeing as the rope was to tough otherwise. He wobbly stood up when I heard a chuckle from behind us.
"You think your smart Lincoln bringing a girl into protect you well I will kill you and blondie first then take the girl with me to bad Cassandra had to leave she would enjoy this" he said pulling a hand gun out of his belt pointing it directly at Lincoln I saw his finger move slowly to the trigger and before I knew it was Infront of Lincoln with a pain in abdomen. I felt Lincoln tug the knife out of my hand and threw it at the man it landed straight threw his chest.
"Bella stay with me ok" I heard him say but my body went limp and I fell to the ground. My vision went blurry and I could only make out the outline of Lincoln.
"Come on Bella don't let go now" was the last thing I heard him say before I fell into darkness.
