《Slave, My Mate》Chapter 26

Williams POV:
Her long hair was sprawled all over the pillow, her tiny fingers clutched my chest as if she thought I was going to disappear. I gently grazed my fingertips along her back loving the way her soft skin felt against mine. God she was so beautiful. "Sir we've had a breach on the northern border. Two males, one female. They say there here to speak to Scarlett.' I growled. Ricki was my head of border control. He was the best 'How did they cross! Bring them to the prisoner block, I will be there in twenty minutes for a interrogation. Do not let them out of your sight. Double runs on borders till Sunday.' I spoke back to Tyler. He was a great warrior and fallowed my command religiously.
Yes sir. Was his only reply.
I groaned. I didn't want to disturb the beautiful girl on my chest for some idiots who thought that messing with my pack was a good idea. I gently grazed my fingers over her forehead into her hair. Pulling the little strands out of her eyelashes.
She was so beautiful.
I heard a faint buzzing sound after a few moments. I reached over to the nightstand across the bed and grabbed my phone.
Tyne: when are you coming back to the dungeon dude. New shipment of bitches that need to be broken in. ;)
I sighed. Tyne had been a distant friend of mine for about five years, we met at the dungeon when I was looking for a toy to play with. He was a cool guy, he kind of looked like an old fashion biker dude. Lean, tattooed, and hairy as hell. He was in his late twenties and still no mate, that being something uncommon for werewolves he usually spent most of his time at the dungeons.

William: Can't. Found my mate in that dungeon. I won't be coming back man.
I knew he wouldn't respond so I set the phone back down on the table. I froze in my place as I felt her fingers move against my chest and a quiet moan leave her lips. Slowly I gazed down at her to see her sparkling eyes looking back up to mine. A dash of fear quickly traveled through them but was soon covered by an emotion I couldn't read.
"Good morning gorgeous." I said softly smiling as I brushed a strand away from her eyes. She smiled softly.
"Good morning William." Her voice was raspy with sleep. I mentally groaned. Why did she have to be so god damn sexy.
"How are you? How did you sleep?" I said. She snuggled her head down onto my chest and sighed. I had a smile on my face that no one could take away.
" I slept wonderfully. William? Can you take me back to my room please?" She said. Her small frame seemed to bounce off the mattress and onto the floor as she asked me.
I inwardly frowned at the loss of contact of my beautiful mate. "Yes. Why do you want to go there?" I questioned. She was hurriedly moving about the room, picking up random objects from the floor and placing them where they belonged. "Scarlett? What are you doing?" I asked laughing as she picked up a pair of boxers from the corner with just her fingertips and flung it across the room to the hamper.
"Your messy. I'm cleaning up for you." She said picking up a random piece of paper and a glass that was once full of ice cream but now looked like green gunk and walking towards the door. I quickly got out of bed and threw on a pair of pants before fallowing her out the door.

Scarlett's POV:
As I slowly made my way down the stairs to the kitchen I reminisced on the past few days.
William was a werewolf. I was no longer a slave. I was mated to a werewolf.
William being a werewolf didn't surprise me much. He was built like my father was, acted like my father had and presented himself like any wolf does. I was unfazed by the fact of it all, I wish he would have told me sooner. I would have been sure to make steak the first night of my arrival.
I wouldn't have believed two weeks ago that my slaveholder would be demolished in two days. Once a slave always a slave, that's how I grew up, how I was raised. I never thought there would be a day or time that I would be free. I was able to go wherever I wanted. I could do as I pleased. William had promised me I could go and do as I pleased. I would hold him to that.
My mother, before my fathers death, would tell me of her travels to different country's and how beautiful they were. She would travel far and wide with my father, meeting packs, seeing the world. I wanted to see all those places. I wanted some other tie with my father.
"William?" I said as I turned the corner to the kitchen. The tile was unusually cold against my feet.
"Yes?" He said softly. I heard an eerie creek come from the living room across the hall. I paused staring blankly in the direction of the noise. I felt Williams hands graze my hips and pull me behind him. A soft shh came from his lips as he took a step forward. His stature grew as he went towards the noise. His presence became one of dominance and power. He was so beautiful.
