"Oh wait I forgot to give you your farewell gift." I gave him a good and hard uppercut filled of my rage.
"Have a Good night Mr. Stoll." I smiled and walked out. When I opened the door I can see Arc's and My "soulmates" shocked faces.
"I'm sorry Arc, I'm kind of tired so I'll home first." I got out of the building and just got a taxi to go home.
I changed out of my clothes and lay on my bed. I swear that mothafocka gets on my nerves. (҂⌣̀_⌣́)
Ever since that transferee sat next to Aera, he never left her side. Is he some sort of parasite? Always damn clinging onto her like she's his oxygen or some shxt.
Timothy Hayes' birthday was today, and it was obvious he had a great time. We were invited so it would have been impolite not to come. Though we didn't care if we were disrespectful but because we didn't have anything better to do, we went regardless.
He approached us first and we talked about business. Something or someone caught his eye so he abruptly called out for her.
It was Aera..crxp. He shouted for her name and to my surprise, the guys still remembered the name of the woman we rejected.
They couldn't speak and they wouldn't open their mouths, so they just stared at her. Nervousness has taken hold of us. We were with Maro, the person we had rejected her for, but I still couldn't sense our soulmate connection for some reason.
I swear I felt it the other day when she patted my back. It was..calming
The dress she wore today really suited her, I couldn't help but admire her elegant figure. It wasn't until that transferee excused her.

There he is, clutching her in his arms once more. Then he muttered something about a peacock approaching us?
We were perplexed by his statement until we noticed Aera's rapid expression of disdain. Lykos Stoll, her ex-boyfriend. She immediately walked away, but I noticed that the man had already caught up with her.
They followed him to the balcony but that transferee just left the two of them alone. It didn't feel right, thankfully our conversation with Mr. Hayes was done.
Without Maro noticing the aim of our actions we walked toward the balcony and we could hear their argument.
What the fxck is up with that guy? Does he not understand fxcking English?
The transferee, Archer opened the door slightly enough to see what was going on, and just in time we got to see her give an uppercut.

He quickly closed the door but she burst out and excused herself.
We left soon after, while we were in the car, Soren gestured to me that we needed to talk later. I have a lot of explaining to do.
Maro wanted to sleep early so he went to bed. We entered my office.
"You didn't tell us that René Esme was Aera??" Devereux said annoyed.
"*sigh* I thought I'd just tell you if we ever had to face her if she confront us about our decision," Calixto explained.
"It would've been better if we knew who she was." Viktor pointed out.
"I know.." Calixto pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Wait, how come I couldn't feel anything when I looked into her eyes earlier?" Alicai asked puzzled.
"I was wondering about that too," Soren added.
"Honestly, I've been trying to figure that out."
"Well, it was already a mystery as to why she was our mate in the first place when she isn't part of family and how Maro doesn't have the mark," Alicai said

"So what do we do?" Devereux asked.
"We do nothing but observe," Revere said.

~After a week~
Maro flipped through the TV channels with the guys circled around him in the living room. He stopped at a certain TV show that made the guys around him tense.
"Welcome back to Can't take this heat! Our guest for today is René Esme and Aster Hilde. I'm your host, Beck Alvin."
"So René, how do you feel? You're about to eat the spiciest chicken wings of your life."
"I'm actually quite excited, I love spicy food."
"How about you, Aster?"
"I'm excited as well. I think I'll do better than René"
"Hehe" she giggled.
"Well today there are ten stages and the chicken wings get spicier each level. I will ask you questions per stage."
"The last chicken wing is about as spicy as a jalapeño that is multiplied by 400."
"Wow, how scary," she said without any hint of fear.
Aster laughed at René's reaction.
"Well then let's begin!"
