"You bought a fish?!" Matteo looked at ava and i in disbelief .

"We named it doggy" i smiled and he rolled his eyes.

"Ava, go take care of your new friend"

Ava nodded and went upstairs with the fish .

"So how was your day?"

"Cut the crap why the fish?"

"Ava wanted a fish"

"What did you want?"

"Why does it matter?"

"Just answer?"

"I wanted a dog but your daughter comes first"

"Why didn't you get both?"

"That's a lot of work"

"We have maids"

"For someone who didn't want a puppy you're sure pushing the subject"

"Whatever i have a meeting"

He was about to walk out when i grabbed his arm .

"You have a soft spot for puppies?"

"No the fuck i don't" he scoffed.

"Yes the fuck you do" i laughed and he threw daggers at me .

"I didn't know the mobster was a softie"

He walked out , i chuckled and headed up to my room when a crying ava came into my room. I swear if tatiana did something...

"What happend?" I rushed to her in worry .

"I flushed the fishy down the toilet"

Welp that lasted what 3 minutes? 3 seconds?

"Aw im so sorry" i rubbed her back in comfort . I don't know what to really do since none of the kids i worked for flushed a fish down the toilet. How does that even happen?

"We need a funeral" she suddenly said and pulled me into her room . She grabbed a small bag out of her closet and put it on her bed .

"What's that?"

"Funeral bag"

That's a thing?!

She pulled out a big black hat and black clothes and a black box .

"So the funeral is now?"

"Yes, you need to get ready so that we can say goodbye to doggy"

"I guess I'll go get ready"

"Yes thank you"

I went to my room and grabbed a black dress and black heels . I guess we're going all out for a fish funeral .

I walked back out to and tatiana gave me a weird look. Not this bitch again

She growled at me and was about to step closer when one of matteo's men came in .

"Angelo hi" i smiled and hooked arms with him and walked off.

"Hello Miss Riley" angelo smiled.

"Mr del luca told me that ava has a dance recital tonight"

"Oh right is he gonna attend?"

"Yes he never misses it but he will be a little late"

"Thank you angelo" i smiled and headed to ava's room .

"We should get this funeral over with you have dance recital"

She pulled out the box.

"Wait how did you get the fish out?"

"Asked one of my friends"

Lox is one of the many bodygaurds the only time he's seen being kind is with ava. I swear all matteo's men have such a sweet spot for ava and would do anything for her like taking a fish that has already been flushed. Dang

"Okay then"

We went out back and buried the fish. Ava said a few words and we did a prayer and went back inside.

"Want some tea?"

She nodded and we went into the kitchen and i poured us some tea .

Wow im really bestfriends with a 6 year old . Goals!

"Riley can i tell you a secret?"

"Yes ofcourse"

"I have a boyfriend" she whispered. Well damn, teach me your ways ava

"Who is it?" I whispered back.

"Maximo" she whispered .

"Does he go to your school?"

She nodded and i smiled. Matteo is not going to love this...

"Does your dad know about maximo?'

"No, we need to keep it hush hush" she put her lips to her mouth to show me that i need to keep it 'hush hush'

"We have to get you ready" we ran upstairs and ava went and took a bath and i layed out her clothes and went and took a shower myself.

When i walked out i saw matteo sitting on my bed and going through my phone . Why just why

"What the hell?" I grabbed my phone out of his hand .

"Calm down i was just looking at your pictures"

"How did you even get in it?"

"It's really easy, passwords doesn't really protect phones if you know what you doing

"So what you're like some tech genius?"

"I just know what im doing, orsetto" he smirked before getting up and kissing my forehead.

"Whatever"

I picked out an outfit and layed it on my bed . I felt matteo behind me and i turned around .

"Can you leave now?"

"Why?"

He put his hands on my hips and gripped it .

"I told you i don't want anything happening between us"

"Riley" he sighed.

"Im serious matteo this is not gonna end well"

He stared into my eyes and gently pushed us onto to the bed . Now he was on top of me and just staring .

"Matteo ava could walk in so please stop"

He ignored me and leaned down and kissed my neck .

"Matteo"

He tried to take off my towel and i stopped him . He flipped us so i was on top .

"You really want me to stop?" He smirked.

I felt him underneath me and i couldn't help but let out a moan . He smirked and grabbed my hips and moved my hips slowly .

"Matteo we can't do this" i put my hands on his chest .

He sighed and got up with me and put me on the desk .

There was a knock on the door and he moved away from me .

"Riley im done" ava smiled showing off her ballet constume and i got off the desk .

"Let's give riley time to get ready" matteo took ava's hand and walked out .

I sighed and fell onto the bed and breathed deeply.

I got back up ,put my clothes on and headed downstairs .
