《The Star Goddess (Watty's 2018)》Chapter Four

We parked in the driveway and I got out in awe of just the front yard. Everything was spotless and perfect. There was a beautiful pathway leading up to the house behind the trees. Cole laughed lightly as my mouth hung agape. He placed his hand on my shoulder and started guiding me forward as I continued to take in the scenery around me. Turning the corner I could see the front of the house and once again I was in complete shock and awe. I felt so small and tiny compared to the house and the landscape around me.
The front of the house yielded a patio that was done beautifully. Everything was so light and open and it was so breathtaking. Cole walked up to the front door and put the key into the lock showing me into what would be my new home. And just when I thought the house couldn't get any more grand, he opened the door to reveal a grand foyer.
"Oh my God! I have no words for this," I said aloud.
"You don't need words. Words are meaningless until you back them up with action," Cole replied.
"The only action I'm doing is widening my eyes and dropping my jaw," I laughed a little. Cole's eyes lit up and crinkled as he smiled.
"What would you like to see first, Stella?" Cole asked as he waved a hand towards the body of the house.
"Let's start from the bottom and work our way to the top," I suggested. Cole nodded in understanding and motioned for me to follow him.
Cole led me to a door underneath the staircase and pushed on it. The door popped and he slid it into place. It was like one of the secret doors you see in spy movies. I was expecting a nicer version of a dungeon but was met with a bright flash of light and openness. We climbed down the stairs to reveal the recreational center.

The main part was a bar type theme. There was a pool table and bar with a mini kitchen equipped with all of the necessities.
The other portion was a mini theatre. There was a big comfy looking wrap around couch and a GIGANTAMONGOUS TV set complete with an Xbox and PlayStation. There were also several bean bag chairs lying around. After looking around the basement, Cole and I went back to the foyer. We ventured towards the living room next.
It was a beautiful white and silver theme that made it look winter-y. It was grand and had another big couch. The big white curtains were drawn back to allow the sunlight to warm the icey themed room. This whole house was beautiful. Do I really get to live here? I though to myself. Cole tugged on my arm gently and pulled me into the kitchen.
I think I was about to die at that point. I couldn't stand all of the fancy. It was so much more than I was used to.It was very light and open with dark themes and accents. It was also extremely modern, complete with a smart stove, smart fridge, and automated storage. After that, we took a quick peek in the dining room.
It was themed very much like the living room.
"I want to show you one more thing before we head upstairs," Cole states with an excited tone and glint in his eyes. He brought me to the back door where an Olympic sized swimming pool sat.
There were lounge chairs lying all around and there was a fire pit next to the pool.
"This is your backyard?" I asked incredulously.
"Nope. That is," Cole states as he pointed to beyond the gated in pool.
It was a freaking mini water park. A MINI WATER PARK!!!!!! How freaking rich are they?

"There are also a lot of things to do in the forest. We have a campground about a mile in and there's a lot of trails if you like to run or walk or anything," Cole mentioned as he briefly talked about the forest and backyard.
We went back inside and Cole's phone started to ring. He looked at the caller ID and grimaced. He glanced at me before speaking.
"Hey, sweetheart? Why don't you go find your room and look around while you're up there? I have to take this," Cole looked at me with begging eyes. I simply nodded and started up the first few stairs. He turned around and moved towards the kitchen. I went back downstairs and followed making sure to stay behind the wall while he was at the island.
