Elora
When my alarm went off, I felt like a rock. Mornings are usually easy for me, but I really don't want to get out of bed. My limbs felt heavy, and every time I closed my eyes, they stayed shut.
I didn't even stay up late, although I wanted nothing more than to overthink about the almost kiss with Duke.
After he left the library, he acted like nothing happened. At dinner, he could barely look at me. It honestly makes me sad, that's why it's best I don't think about it too much. I guess he didn't want to kiss me as much as I wanted to kiss him.
I practically crawled out of bed and got ready. I dressed in a cute white dress with purple flowers on it, reaching mid thigh. I threw on a purple short cardigan to keep my arms warm, and cute purple sandals. I left my hair down in its unmanageable waves, pinning a few strands back.
I'm usually not this groggy, but I don't want to go to school today. Obviously I'm going, because my OCD can't handle missing a day, even if I'm sick, let alone just lazy. But it's going to be a long day.
I moped down the long halls and stairs until I got outside the kitchen door.
I heard a woman laugh, "Eugene, you're so bad!" She exclaimed. Um what the heck? "I'll have those reports done by Wednesday," I heard her say.
Okay, nope. Who is this woman in my house? And why is she talking to my Eugene all flirty and gross.
I opened the door, seeing all my guys standing around the counter, with some brown haired, stupidly pretty woman. There's papers spread all over the counter that they're looking at, I guess she works for them?
She's tall and her hair is short and tidy. Her skirt is short and tight, showcasing her back side. And her white button down shirt has the first two buttons undone, revealing a significant amount of cleavage. I don't like her...
"Good morning," Theo smiled at me. "Bit of a late start for you, isn't it?" He teased.
I shrugged, still in a sour mood.
The woman smiled at me, "Oh you must be Lorie-"
"Elora," Felix corrected, giving the woman a scary look.
I smirked. Know your place, trash.
"Easy kitten," I flinched at Lucifers voice in my head. I forgot he can get into my mind whenever he wants to.

I locked eyes with him, seeing him raising his eyebrows at me, looking amused.
The woman was caught off guard by Felix's harsh tone, "Oh, right. How silly of me. I'd better get going, it was nice meeting you," she gave me a quick smile before exiting the house in a hurry.
I followed her out with my eyes, and when the door closes I snapped my head back to them, "Who was that?"
As soon as I heard my own accusing tone, I paused. I'm jealous. Over a woman like ten years older than me, just for being around them. Since when am I jealous?
Theo smirked at me, "Jennifer, she's Eugenes assistant," he explained.
I walked over and stood next to him, grabbing bacon that was on a plate. Eugene doesn't need an assistant, he doesn't need to sleep or rest so he can get any work done himself. "You should fire her," I suggested.
Eugene chuckled, "Because she said your name wrong?"
I smiled sweetly, "Because she doesn't know how to button her shirt, has a gross laugh, and she said my name wrong," I corrected. I really don't like her.
Theo laughed, draping his arms around my shoulders, lightly swaying me side to side, "Damn you're grumpy this morning," he teased.
My phone went off and I checked the message.
Mrs. K- Good morning Elora! We have two new students starting today. Would you mind showing them around campus this morning? You'll be excused from your first two classes.
I sighed, not really in the mood to talk to strangers and be bubbly. But as student Vice President, showing new students around is one of my duties.
I texted her back, agreeing.
"You text your teachers?" Theo cocked his eyebrow at me.
"No, my teachers text me."
"Ready to go?" Theo let go of me and nodded towards the door.
I nodded, following him out of the kitchen.
I faintly heard Eugene on the phone as I walked out of the house, "Jennifer, you're fired... yes... please clear your desk by tomorrow..."
I smiled, getting into Theo's car. Bye bye Jennifer!
Theo shook his head at me, as he drove away from the house. "Possessive today, aren't we?"
I widened my eyes at him, "No, of course not. She was... icky," I justified.
"Whatever you say, princess," he chuckled.

I feel much better now, I just needed to wake up. Eugene firing that girl also helped.
I walked up to the office, seeing two really tall boys. I don't recognize them, they must be the new students.
I smiled at them, "Hi, I'm Elora, I'm going to be showing you two around for a couple hours this morning," I greeted.

They both looked down at me, returning kind smiles. "I'm Elliot, and this is Jonas," the one with brown hair shook my hand. Jonas has orange hair that compliments his freckles.
"Welcome! If you have any questions as we go, or anytime, I'm your girl," I informed. I noticed their schedules in their hands, "It looks like you're all checked in here; are you ready to start the tour?" I asked.
Jonas gestured to the door, "Lead the way," he said.
I showed them the library, cafeteria, and auditorium. "So where did you move from?" I made small talk.
I noticed Elliot give Jonas a side glance before answering. "We travel a lot. We're actually here paying a visit to some... old friends."
I nodded, "Well I hope you enjoy the town while you're here. There's not much to do, but it's home."
"What about you?" Jonas asked suddenly.
I raised my eyebrows, finding the question odd. I shrugged, "I was born and raised here," I nodded.
"And you live with your family?" He added.
I bit my lip, nodding. Of course I do, but I don't necessarily consider them 'family'. We turned down a hall and I took the opportunity to change the subject. "Um, this is C hall, the music room is down there, along with several science labs-"
"Are you close with them?" Jonas questioned again.
I turned and looked up at him, uncomfortable with him asking these kinds of questions after meeting me less than an hour ago.
He must have noticed my concern, because he gave me a sheepish smile, "Sorry, just trying to make friends," he put his hands up in surrender.
I nodded, I guess that makes sense. "No worries," I dismissed.
"Speaking of friends," Elliot started, "We want to join the football team, would you mind showing us the field?" He smiled.
"Sure! I'm sure you two will have no problem making the team. You're both really tall, did you play at your old school?" I encouraged. I'm a big supporter of joining clubs and school teams.
"Yes, we did," Jonas answered.
I opened the doors and led them out to the football field, "This is it, a lot of the time the football team and track team will practice at the same times," I added.
Elliot looked around, "And what's behind those trees?" He asked.
I smiled, "The whole schools pretty secluded. The surrounding area is basically miles of woods. Sometimes the coaches take us on runs through them."
Jonas stepped forwards, "Can you show us?" He asked, but the tone of his voice came off as more of a command than a question.
I suddenly felt uncomfortable again. I crossed my arm over my body defensively, "That's not really part of the tour... you can go look around the woods on your own time though," I suggested. I glanced back at the school, "Okay, we should get back inside and finish the tour-"
Jonas stepped closer to me, "Walk," he said lowly, his entire demeanor changing quickly.
My breathing quickened, knowing I'm in a bad situation. I looked between the two of them, "N-no," I swallowed hard, seeing them both get closer to me, forcing me to stumble back- closer to the woods. "I'm not going into the woods..." I tried to be firm, but my voice was shaky.
Somethings not right about this...
Elliot grabbed my upper arm and I panicked as he harshly led me into the woods. I pulled, and screamed trying to get away from him, "Let me go, now! This is not okay-"
"Your bloodsuckers took everything from us. We're only returning the favor," Elliot snarled down at me.
My blood ran cold, and my heart was hammering against my ears. My bloodsuckers...
My arm felt like it was going to break off with how hard he was grabbing me. "I-I don't know what you're talking about," I tried to lie.
"There were rumors of them taking in a human pet," Jonas smirked down at me. "We thought it would take longer to get to you, just our luck that you're the one they choose to show us around," he chuckled.
I felt tears well in my eyes, trying to think of a way out of this. "Who are you?" I asked.
They smirked at each other, "That doesn't matter. What matters is you're going to die," Elliot stopped when we were far away from the school, deep in the woods. "And I can't wait for them to find your lifeless body," he threatened.
A sob escaped my lips and I cried, terrified of them. They always said nothing bad would happen to me, that no enemy would ever even cross the state line. I sucked in a breath, "If you hurt me, they'll come after you," I warned.
Jonas leaned down, so his eyes were level with mine. "Stupid girl, they don't even know we're here. They practically handed you to us. By the time they find out, it'll be too late."
