"Mora look" KJ excitedly showed her the $300 Roblox gift card Jaelen got her.
Ximora smiled "I see, what do you say?"
"Thank you Jaelen" she smiled then went back to opening the presents.
Ximora wasn't really able to get that many gifts for KJ, so some of KJ's gifts Jaelen bought and put Ximora's name on it.
Once KJ finished there was still more stuff to be opened.
"They yours" Jaelen told Ximora.
She cheesed then went to open them. Jaelen had bought her whole SHEIN cart, a few pairs of shoes, and a custom diamond necklace with her name.
"Thank you Jae" she smiled, standing up to hug him.
"We got this for you" she said handing him a box.
He opened it to see a Nike Tech Suit "Thank you"
After they finished cleaning all the paper and trash from unwrapping gifts, Ximora made breakfast.
"My mama wanna meet you and KJ, we having Christmas dinner" Jaelen said as he washed the dishes.
Ximora was taken aback "Why she wanna meet us?"
"Cause my sister and Maliyah been talking bout y'all" he explained.
She nodded, "Okay.. I need to go back to the hotel to get us ready"
"Ight lemme finish this then I'll take y'all"
_____________
"Good evening" Ximora smiled as a lady that had Jaelen's whole face, opened the door.
She glanced at Ximora then looked at Jaelen "Y'all come on in"
Trying to ignore his mom's obvious attitude, Ximora grabbed KJ's hand and followed Jaelen inside.
"Hi KJ" Maliyah smiled grabbing her hand and pulling her away.
"Wassup girl" his sister, Jade, smiled.
"Hiii" Ximora said hugging her.
They sat on the couch and started talking, Jaelen veered off to find his cousins.
"So it's just you and Jaelen?" Ximora asked looking at some pictures on the wall.

"Nah, our daddy gotta 'nother daughter. You know how that be" Jade told her.
Ximora nodded and started to speak until two middle aged ladies and Jaelen's mom came in.
"You date my nephew, young lady?" One of them asked.
Ximora shook her head "No ma'am"
"Ohhh so y'all each other... what they call it Joyce?" She asked the other aunt.
"Mmm sneaky links" Joyce answered.
Jade and Ximora laughed "No aunty, she-"
"She's leeching off my son, don't got nothing together" his mom said cutting her off.
"Sadé, you need to cut it out" the first aunt said.
"I'm not leeching off of anyone" Ximora said, containing her attitude.
"Mmm but you and your sister living with my son. Correct?" His mom said rolling her eyes.
"Yea, we've moved out since." Ximora told her.
Sadé laughed "Nonetheless, you leeched off-"
"She ain leeched or leeching off no one, ma why you always do this?" Jade said scrunching up her face.
Ximora shook her head and grabbed her purse "Nice meeting everyone, I'll see you Jade"
She went into the room KJ was in and grabbed her hand.
"Maliyah, I gave your gift to your mommy. Thank you for KJ's gift" she said then headed to the front door.
As she opened the door it was shut behind her.
"Where you going?" Jaelen asked pulling her into a guest room.
"Your mom.. she's very rude. She was saying that I'm leeching off of you and whatever" Ximora told him.
Jaelen nodded as he listened.
"I'm sorry Mora, don't leave. Imma be witchu the rest of the night, my bad for leaving" he said.
She shook her head "Jae I wanna go"
"Please stay. The rest of my family wanna meet you too" he told her.

He kissed her lips a few times causing her to roll her eyes, but internally melt.
"Okay..."
When they walked out the room, everyone was lined up to make a plate.
They stood behind Jade and waited.
"...Oh and God we thank you for the ways you make out of no way. We..."
This was 6 minutes into the prayer and Ximora had tuned him out.
"Oh God-"
She opened her eyes after hearing a thud. Looking over she saw Jade and Jaelen on the ground both of them were 'passed out'
"Y'all need to stop smoking.. God bless this family" the uncle said as he continued praying.
"AMEN Leroy, damn you ain have to do allat" Joyce said as she started making all the kids a plate.
"Y'all get up" Ximora said noticing them still on the floor.
Jaelen huffed and got up then stood back behind Ximora.
"What all you want?" She asked him as she grabbed two plates.
"Ion want that dry ass turkey" he told her, then pointed to the chicken.
She reached out to add more food onto his plate until she was shoved out the way.
"I got it, I can make his plate." Sadè said rolling her eyes.
"Ma, what you push her for?" Jaelen said scrunching up his face.
"Jaelen go sit down baby, I got your plate" she said ignoring his question.
"Nah I got my own plate. What the fuck you push her for?" He repeated.
She glared at him "Who are you cussin at?"
By now it was silent, everyone was watching. Except for KJ who had already started eating.
"My fault ma, but you not gon treat her like that" he said shaking his head.

"Ximora you do hair right? I think you did my bestie hair, it look so good" one of Jaelen's cousins said.
Ximora smiled "Yea I do, and thank you"
"You see she did my install, it look good" Jade said raking her hands through her hair.
Jaelen smiled seeing that everyone else was welcoming to Ximora and KJ.
"Sooo if you and my cousin don't work out.." Jaelen's little cousin started.
He decided not to finish based off the look on Jaelen's face.
Ximora laughed "I'll keep you in mind"
Jaelen shifted her in his lap and buried his head in the crook of her neck.
Sadé watched her family, specifically her son, interact with Ximora and scoffed.
Once they got home Ximora let out a breath, although his mom wasn't a fan of hers, she really enjoyed his family.
