"Hi Daloni, are you feeling okay?" Ms. Walker asked with a warm smile sitting next to his bed in a chair. She had to speak with him privately so that she could finally present his case to the court.
Heaven had passed all of the parenting and new parent classes. Ms. Walker had said that she would put in a good word for her with the judge and present her case next week.
Daloni stared at Ms. Walker and then went back to smashing his trucks together. Ms. Walker was very aware of Daloni's nonchalant attitude, so she knew it would be hard trying to get him to talk today.
She pressed the record button on her recorder and sat it on the nightstand. If she could get Daloni's voice on tape and his wishes then it would also look good in court.
"Daloni what's your name?" She asked him.
He ignored her and let out a frustrated groan. Ms. Walker was asking him to many questions already.
"Daloni can you tell me your name?" Ms. Walker asked again.
"Daoni papa." Daloni said, trying his best to say his name. He thought that he had two names so he always put his real name with his nickname.
Heaven stood on the outside of the door, anxious as ever. Her fingernails were getting the blues as well as her scalp. She knew that Daloni was still learning a lot of things, so she just hoped that he understood most of what Ms. Walker was saying. Part of her was glad that the hospital cancer rooms had clear windows and doors so you could see inside his room.
"Who is your favorite person in the whole world?" Ms. Walker asked.
"Mommy." Daloni pointed at Heaven. Heaven blew him a kiss and smiled at him.
"Do you love your mommy?" Ms. Walker asked him, writing down notes in his file. She would have to write down that Daloni referred to Heaven as his mom.
"Love you too mommy." Daloni yelled, with his hands in the air. He thought that Ms. Walker told him that Heaven said she loved him.

"When you get all better like Spider Man, where do you want to go?" Ms. Walker asked, bringing the recorder closer to Daloni.
Daloni just stared at his social worker. The sentence was way to long so he couldn't understand it. Instead of saying anything he just stayed silent. Daloni's brain was still recovering and growing so he couldn't understand long sentences like other kids his age yet.
Ms. Walker figured it was time to bring someone other than Heaven in. Heaven wasn't allowed in the room because they didn't want him basing his answers off of her presence.
Ms. Walker stood and went to the door opening it. "Is there anyone else that's a caregiver, that can sit in on this. I think he's getting a little frustrated." She asked Heaven.
Heaven immediately turned to Jayda who was during her clinical notes. Jayda was the only other person besides Heaven that knew everything about Daloni.
"Jay, can you go with her? It shouldn't take long." Heaven asked.
Jayda took off her glasses and nodded her head. "He okay?"
"Yes he's fine, he's just getting a little frustrated. It'll help him if he sees someone he's used to." Ms. Walker replied. Jayda nodded her head and followed behind the lady back into Daloni's room.
"Daloni when you get all better like Spider Man, where do you wanna go?" Ms. Walker asked again, waiting to hear his answer. She frowned as she was met with silence again.
"The question is to long, he can't comprehend what you're asking. Try breaking it down into simpler words." Jayda said, looking at Daloni's frustration.
Ms. Walker nodded and thought of smaller words for Daloni. "Mommy's house?" She asked him.
Daloni nodded his head. "I go to mommy." He smiled. Now he understood what she was talking about. He knew she was asking about Heaven's house.
"Okay." Ms. Walker chuckled in relief.
"Yea his brain isn't as developed as other five year olds. It'll take him a little longer to understand some things. Heaven makes him go over flash cards everyday so he can start forming longer sentences." Jayda said.

"Mommy!" Daloni yelled, pointing at Heaven.
"Can you describe the relationship that Daloni and Heaven have?" Ms. Walker asked Jayda.
"I would say that their relationship is so pure and loving. The day that he came in he did nothing but cry his eyes out, as soon as Heaven stepped in the room he immediately stopped. At that moment I knew that the two would be inseparable. Heaven has suprised me in many ways then one. The lengths that she's taken risking her job just so that Daloni would have a fair fight is impeccable." Jayda explained as nothing but the truth spilled out of her mouth.
"There's been days where she's worked twelve hour shifts back to back and when it's time for her to leave if he's having a bad night or day she'll stay until he's okay. I've seen her fight more than biological parents to make sure Daloni was always ok. There's days where I have to make her sit down and take a break because if not I'm scared she'll pass out from exhaustion. I have to fight her on it, but she eventually takes a breather for about five minutes and then she's up again."
"Heaven deserves every right and has earned every single right to be granted as Daloni's mother. They both need each other." Jayda finished.
Ms. Walker stopped the recording and closed the folder that she was writing in. "Thank you for that statement. I've seen the love and care that the two have given each other and I totally agree."
Jayda nodded her head and stood to her feet. She looked outside at Heaven who was talking to Daloni's doctor. "Excuse me." She told the social worker.
"Everything okay?" Jayda asked Heaven seeing the tears coming out of her eyes.
"Okay Clyde I didn't do anything this time, everything is fine. I was just telling Heaven that Daloni has a possibility of being released. His cancer is shrinking and he's not on any machines anymore. He'll still need his treatments, but he's fine to be discharged in a week or two." Doctor Grey stated.
Heaven did nothing but cried and hugged Jayda's neck tightly. Everything felt like it was falling in place at the right time. Heaven finally saw everything looking up for her and Daloni.
"That's amazing news." Jayda smiled huge, hugging Heaven.
"Daloni has proved all of us wrong. That little man is a true fighter and he's going to be just fine." Doctor Grey smiled.
Heaven ran in Daloni's room and scooped him up in her arms hugging him tightly. She squatted to the floor as her sobs filled his room. She wasn't sad, she was overjoyed. Her tears weren't hurting tears, they were tears of joy.
Daloni frowned and lifted Heaven's head to see her face. "Cry?" He asked with a confused face.
"No mommy's happy baby." Heaven chuckled.
"Papa happy!" Daloni yelled throwing his hands in the air.

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.

Modded Skyr*m: Real Life Edition
It seems that I died while I was playing VR Skyr*m. The next thing I knew, I was standing in front of the middle-aged man who called himself The Overlord of Dremora and Dragons. He told me they were releasing Skyr*m: Real-Life Edition. However, you have to be dead first to play it, and I was chosen as a 'beta tester' of sorts. I found myself in a semi-realistic (thanks to mods) world, and I want to have fun and relax for the rest of my life, and maybe get back to Earth. There's just a small *RAWR* problem. Setting: This happens within the world in The Legend of the Fake Hero, specifically two arcs from now. About: I am writing this for fun as a side project. I intend this to be semi-interactive as I will have polls where readers can influence the book's direction. I have the final say because I believe that too many cooks in the kitchen are not a good thing. The plan is to write it in parts that are around 1-2k words. Typically around every 3 to 6 parts, they will be combined into a finalized chapter and re-edited for a smoother read. Release schedule: When I feel like it. I'll be more inclined to write if there is more interaction, both in comments and polls, towards the story. However, I will be focusing on The Legend of the Fake Hero because that is something I own entirely and enjoy. I will try to do consistent uploads. Disclaimer: This work falls under fair use as it is a partial parity, does not affect the value of the original work, is an original story within the setting (within my setting), and is not being sold. All IP belongs to their respective owners (including myself). Currently uploading on Scribble Hub and Royal Road under the same username.
