"I'm ready to go home." Daloni groaned. "I feel better, I'm tired of it here mama." He added, expressing his true feelings. Daloni hated any medical setting, simply because he spent his entire early childhood living in one.

"Papa I know, but we're just waiting for the conference call from Grey. After that we can go." Heaven replied, rubbing through Daloni's curls. He still had a head full of hair, and he never planned to cut it off.

"You need to hurry up and get better, I miss beating you in 2k." Zaloni smirked, acting like he was shooting a ball into a basketball goal. Him and Daloni were like best friends, so to say he missed his big brother was the least.

"Nigga you know I'm better than you." Daloni replied, smacking his teeth. He felt a thump to his forehead, looking up seeing a dissatisfied look on his mom's face. "Sorry."

"I guess I miss you." Nevaeh mumbled.

"Girl stop fronting, you was just begging to come see him." Zylin frowned, looking up from his phone. "Anyways so what happened at the school?"

Nevaeh sat up on the edge of the couch clearing her throat. "So what happened was, these girls always trying to be funny with Angel. Angel had texted me and said that the girl bumped her in lunch making her whole plate drop. I already knew it was a lot of them against Angel, and I'm not about to let nobody jump my cousin. Point blank period. So I walked out of my classroom and went to the cafeteria. Her teacher gone try to get in my face telling me to walk away, and I told her to get out my face."

"She worrying about me leaving class, when she need to be writing up the girls who keep messing with Angel." Nevaeh explained, getting mad all over again about the situation. Nevaeh was just like Heaven, they didn't play when it came to family.

"So they always mess with Angel?" Zylin frowned, going to his message thread to text Jayda.

"Yes daddy. This is not the first time. Angel didn't want me to tell anybody because she said she could handle it, but she can't. So I handle it for her. They be calling her twig, because of how skinny she is and that's not right daddy." Nevaeh replied.

"So Jayda don't know about this?" Heaven asked, making sure that she was hearing clearly.

"No ma'am. Well I don't know if she knows about it now since we got suspended, but I know that Angel didn't want to tell anybody." Nevaeh nodded.

"Well Zy, now that we've heard her side of the story we can't be mad at her. She was only defending her cousin, just like we taught her." Heaven shrugged. "You ain't have to talk to the teacher like that though."

Zylin nodded his head. "Well you off punishment, and I know Angel want to keep stuff like that a secret but y'all can't do that. Because you see how they tried to make it seem like yall were the bad guys. Y'all have to speak up dooda. I don't know what promises you may have made Angel, but I'm calling Jayda myself and telling her. You do know that they bullying Angel? That's called bullying."

"Yes sir." Nevaeh mumbled. "I just didn't want her to be mad at me. I tried to convince her to tell TT, but she didn't want to."

"Dooda..matter fact all of y'all need to listen. You don't take shit like bullying lightly. Anytime you see somebody getting bullied you tell somebody and you say something. Now if y'all getting bullied, y'all better beat they ass like y'all know how to then tell the teacher." Zylin started off, adjusting a sleeping Zuri in his lap.

"On a real note though, bullying is very dangerous. It leads to depression and suicide. So if you see something, say something. Y'all understand me?"

"Yes sir." All of the kids nodded in unison.

"What's suicide?" Zaloni asked, plopping down next to Nevaeh. Zylin and Heaven looked at each other, trying to communicate with their exchanged looks.

"It's very dangerous Loni. Just remember what daddy just told you. If you see something, say something." Heaven replied. She didn't know if she wanted to discuss suicide with her kids, because she didn't want them to ever think about it.

"Yes ma'am." Zaloni nodded.

"So we need to schedule a conference at Zuri and Vaeh school." Heaven stated. Zuri went back to school but she cried every day all day because she wanted Heaven to come get her. Unfortunately Heaven couldn't, because Zuri had no more excused absences.

"What's wrong with Zuri at school?" Nevaeh frowned.

Before Heaven could even explain, Zuri's eyes fluttered open. Once she smelt Heaven's familiar perfume she climbed out of her dad's lap, and walked over to Heaven.

"Mommy." She mumbled, now climbing in the hospital trying to cuddle under Heaven.

"Are you ever gone grow up?" Zaloni mugged.

"Are you ever gone shut up?" Nevaeh retorted, rolling her neck at her little brother.

"Ma Ma, tell me about Marissa." Zylin stated, leaning back on the couch, closing his eyes. He was exhausted between working at his tattoo shop and trying to find the person who robbed Solana.

"Marissa is a meanie. She says that I'm a crybaby because I sometimes want mommy to come get me. Daddy she told me that mommy was going to leave me like her mommy did. I don't want mommy to leave." Zuri explained.

"Your mama ain't going nowhere. Don't listen to that ugly ass girl. You cuter than her, remember?" Zylin replied. "You told your teacher about what she said?"

"Well no, because I call mommy myself to come get me. From my phone." Zuri shrugged.

"Do I need to visit Marissa, tuh she must don't know I fight second graders." Nevaeh mentioned. "And Zuri you don't ever let somebody with the name Marissa pick on you. She just mad because her mama gave her a ugly name."

"I want you to beat her up." Zuri pouted.

Nevaeh scoffed, nodding her head. "You ain't said nothing but a word ma ma." She responded. "Girl must be crazy, ain't nobody about to pick with my sister."

"Girl shut yo happy fighting ass up." Heaven chuckled. "You act too much like me." Sometimes she couldn't even be mad at Nevaeh for the way she acted, simply because she knew where she got her behavior from.

"I'm just saying." Nevaeh shrugged.

A knock became heard on the door, halting the family from their conversation. In walked the head oncologist of the hospital, along with a rolling computer and his head nurse. "How are you guys today?" He asked.

"I want to go home, that's how I'm doing." Daloni groaned.

"Well Dr. Grey is ready for the conference call. He just received all of the test we ran on Daloni and his recent medical history." The doctor replied. "Whenever you guys are ready, I'll just press this button and we can get connected."

Daloni looked up at Heaven with a nervous look. He discreetly connected their hands, giving it a light squeeze. He was nervous, and he could feel his mom's nerves as well. He had prayed every day since he had been in the hospital that the cancer wasn't back. He just hoped God was on his side this time.

"We're ready." Heaven nodded, kissing Daloni's forehead.

The doctor wasted no time, clicking one button to connect the call. "Dr. Grey, I'm sure you're familiar with the faces in the room. I'm Dr. Hunter, the head oncologist of the hospital."

"Good evening all. Daloni, can you stand up and walk for me?" Dr. Grey asked, sitting at his office desk. He already found a diagnosis for Daloni, but wanted to make sure of Daloni's symptoms before he announced it.

Daloni nodded his head. He turned his legs to the side and used his arms on the bed to help him stand up. He used all of the strength that he had to take his first step. As soon as he did, he fell over onto his knees.

"Alright Daloni, is the pain under your knees or above your knees?" Dr. Grey asked, writing down his notes.

"Both. I can't walk. It hurts to walk." Daloni replied, with a frustrated sigh.

Dr. Hunter and his nurse helped Daloni back into the hospital bed, making sure that his legs were elevated. Keeping his legs elevated were supposed to keep him from developing blood clots.

"Well I've looked at all of his tests, multiple times, and I don't see any tumors. I'm ruling it as a infection. Remember that Daloni's immune system isn't as strong as other kids his age. His immune system cannot fight infections as strong as ours can." Dr. Grey explained. "He has to wear his mask, and take his medicine every single day."

Heaven let out a sigh in relief, hearing that Daloni had no tumors. She felt like a big weight was off of her shoulders. Even though she wasn't happy to hear about the infection, she would take that over cancer anyday.

"Daloni are you listening? You have to be cautious, you're more likely to catch an infection or virus then your siblings. Are you wearing your mask at school?" Dr. Grey questioned.

"Sometimes I forget it at home." Daloni mumbled.

"Heaven make sure that he doesn't leave that house without a mask. You can recover from this infection, but your immune system may let the next one take over. That can be fatal."

"I'm listening." Heaven nodded.

"I'm sending over some prescriptions that'll fight the infection. He should start to feel better in the next forty-eight hours. If you guys need anything else, Heaven has my number." Dr. Grey stated.

"Thank you Grey." Heaven mentioned.

"Thank you Dr. Grey. We looked over his tests multiple times and even we couldn't catch the infection." Dr. Hunter stated, scratching the back of his neck. "If you're ever in Houston, you let me know."

"No problem, y'all take care." Dr. Grey nodded.

"I told you my boy strong. Ain't no way he letting that cancer come back like that." Zylin smirked, beaming on the inside. He was excited to hear that Daloni was still cancer-free. He would never admit it to his family, but he was scared. He was scared that the cancer could've been back, so he only thanked God that it wasn't.

"That means you gone be okay papa." Zuri smiled.

"Yeah, I hope you were listening to Grey papa. You wanted me to give you some type of independence, but you can't even remember to wear your mask to school. From now on, I don't care if I'm sleep, you need to wake me up so that I can watch you take your medicine and make sure that you have a mask." Heaven stated.

"But mama, I'm a big boy now." Daloni frowned.

"I don't care papa. I said what I said. If you were such a big boy you would remember to wear a mask." Heaven shrugged. "Fix your face, I don't care about you mugging." She added, looking at Daloni mug the wall.
