stood at his locker, putting his books in his bag. He was officially back at school after his two weeks of suspension. In all honestly, he was somewhat happy to be back. He was able to get out the house and be away from his day for eight hours. Of course he seen his dad again at practice and when he went home.
But, those eight hours of not seeing the man he hated with a passion was fine with him.
"Jahseh!" Blu dragged, pushing past people and walking up to him. He look over at her giving her a small smile.
"Why you all happy?" He asked, shutting his locker. Blu roll her eyes playfully at him as they started walking together.
"Well, I'm sorry I'm not Oscar the grouch and I'm always happy. Plus, I'm happy because I got good news today." She said excited, a small sequel coming out her mouth as she thought about the good news she received earlier.
"And what was the good news?" He asked her, a smile growing on Blu face. She stopped walking and stood in front of Jahseh. Some people mumbling angrily at them stopping in the middle of the hall. Jahseh grab her arm, pulling her to the side and out the way.
"Sorry." She apologized.
"You good, so what's your good news?" He asked again, the same huge smile showing on her face again.
"Okay, my mom told me earlier today that my dad is coming home tonight." She told him.
"Really?" Jahseh asked, she nodded her head still smiling.
"I get to see my dad finally." She exclaimed, Jahseh hearing the excitement in her voice and he was happy for her.
"Well, I'm happy for you. I know you been waiting for this." He said, putting his arm around her shoulder and they began walking again.
"Yes sir, I can't wait to see that bald headed nigga." She joked, chuckling. Jahseh chuckled, shaking his head.
As the two continued walking and talking, Brittney stood at her locker glaring at them. Angel walked up to her, she look back seeing who she was staring at and ended up rolling her eyes.
"Girl, you look weird staring at them." Angel told her best friend, Brittney mugged her then roll her eyes. She look at herself in her locker mirror, taking out her lipgloss and applying it to her lips.

"Last time I checked, I didn't ask for your opinion Angel." She finally spoke, wiping the corner of her mouth. She put her lipgloss away then slam her locker shut.
Angel roll her eyes again, "Whether you asked for it or not, I still told you. Your still obsessing over that boy and showed you he doesn't want you. Your looking stupid." Angel muttered the last part to herself as she walked beside her friend.
Brittney pushed a boy out her way, Angel watching as the boy ended up bumping into someone else. She shook her head, not saying again. Brittney kept pushing people out her way until she reached Mr. Brown class. Conner was about to walk in the class, but she shoved him walking in.
"You can go." Angel told him, letting him walk in before her. He gave her a smile and she returned it, heading in the class.
She walked to her seat that was next to Brittney. Placing her Fendi bag beside her then glance over at Brittney.
"I don't understand..." Brittney began turning towards Angel. "All the boys at this school are drooling over me then there's Jahseh, who doesn't pay me any mind. You know I tired to follow him on Instagram and he didn't accept my follow. I don't understand why he even have a private account." she said, Angel squinting her eyes at her friend.
"She can't be serious?" Angel thought to herself. She covered her thoughts with a smile on her face. Sometimes she wondered if her best friend was delusional or just plain stupid.
Maybe both.
"Don't you think you should stop? You been trying to get with him since freshman year even when he had a whole girlfriend. Maybe he's just not interested." Angel told her, not saying what she really wanted to say.
She knew if she said what she wanted to say, she would end up hurting Brittney feelings. And that would cost their friendship.
"Kaycee was a bad girlfriend to him, that bitch annoyed him. I know I could be better than her, I still am better than her." Brittney said, putting her attention back on Jahseh and Blu.
The two were on the other side of the room, sitting beside each other and talking. Blu had her phone propped up and she was making a video, Brittney frowning when she seen Jahseh laying his head on Blu shoulder. At this moment, she envied her sister. As she continued staring at the two, Angel shook her head going on her phone.

She wasn't even going to speak on the situation anymore since she was over it. That was Brittney business, not hers so she didn't care. Feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket, she took it out and seen a message from the group chat.
🤑
Tiffany🥱: guess who's back bitches
Cherice💖: who???
Tiffany🥱: Kaycee!!! she finna set these bitches straight
Lillian❤️: thank god
Angel roll her eyes, swiping out the chat. Something told her to look up, so she did and seen Brittney smiling at her.
"You know what I'm thinking?" Brittney asked, a smile still on her face. Angel look past her at Jahseh and Blu then back at her friend.
She let out a small sigh, "Sadly."
It's A Man's Man's World played on YouTube. Blu laid on her bed, scrolling on her phone. She was upset since she had gotten her hopes up high and like always was let down. She thought her dad was coming home, but sadly he wasn't. She use to it now, but it still broke her heart. She wondered when she would ever see him again.
Crystal walked in the room, she frown seeing her daughter was listening to her dad favorite song. She walked over to her bed and Blu look back at her.
"Hey boo." Crystal said, sitting beside her. Blu gave her a small smile sitting up.
"Hey." She said dryly, pausing the music. She brought her legs to her chest and lean back on her headboard.
"You okay?" Crystal asked, already knowing the answer.
Blu shrugged her shoulders, "I guess so, it's cool though." She answered.
"You know he misses you love, don't ever forget that."
"I know, I know." She muttered lowly, Crystal noticing the frown still on her face.
Before either one could say anything, Blu phone started ringing. She picked it up and seen Jahseh FaceTiming her. Her frown soon turning to a small smile. Crystal noticing and tried to be nosy. Blu answered the phone and quickly went on mute, she glance at her mom with her lips tucked in.
"Oh, you want me to leave?" Crystal asked and Blu nodded her head.
"Mmm, ok. I'm leaving." She trailed off, getting up. Blu kept her lips tucked in watching her mom leave out slowly. Once she was finally gone, she shook her head unmuting herself.
"Jahseh." She called his name and his face popped up in the camera causing her to laugh.
"What were you doing?" She asked in between her laughs.
"So, this guy that live next to me is arguing with his baby mom and I'm trying to be nosy. So far, all I know is ole girl have an STD after getting a train ran on her. And the guy girlfriend about to come and they might fight. But, that's not why I called." He said, Blu still laughing at the situation.
"Why you call love?" She asked getting off her bed and going to her desk. She propped her phone up and sat down. She look at the screen waiting for an answer, but Jahseh was still being nosy.
"Jahseh..."
"My fault, they still arguing. Anyway, I called to see how everything. Your dad home?" He asked and she shook her head.
"No, he's looking to get deployed somewhere else. So, I'm guessing he won't be home for awhile, it's whatever." She shrugged her shoulders.
"Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. You okay though?" He asked instantly feeling bad for her.
"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm use to it now, so it's whatever. I'll see him whenever I get the chance to."
"Is there a way I can make you feel better?" He asked, she tuck in her lips. She started thinking of certain things, but she shook those thoughts out her head.
"Umm, bring me Wendy's please." She told him.
"I'll order it and have it delivered to your house." He said and she smile.
"This is why we're friends."
"Shut up."

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.

Seeker
The Gods are dead As they bled dry, so did the magic which gave them birth. In the new era of technology, its pathetic remnants must hide in the shadows or be locked away. In the ancient era of magic two beings often stood out: Galileo, an immortal scholar obsessed with knowledge and Angelica, the most loyal servant of the greatest among the now dead Gods. But why are they worthy of mention? Because after millennia of isolation, the two emerge in the new world beyond their reckoning. The entire story is told from the third person, however, each chapter will be told from the perspective of only one of the characters. This will be signified by the first letter of their names after the chapter number to avoid confusion. I submitted this fiction as a [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] as well as a participant in National Novel Writing Month. The original challenge had been to finish this entire faction within the month of November reaching the 55.5k word minimum. This goal had been achieved. I do not own the cover picture

Magus Gravity
This is about a person who is summoned to a world to be a hero and save the human race from the demons, clich stuff, he will then make decisions that affect all of those around him(I think this is original). Also, he will not get all the """"females"""" out there in the other world and make a big harem that symbolizes how woman are treated as objects. Remember that this story is something I would like to read, and frankly most of the royal road stories are too damn lusty and filled with porn. But there will be some romance here and there since people get married and I need to talk about that too, so that is classed as romance right?
