excuse mistakes
Blu huffed, placing her hands on her knees. The other team continued celebrating just as the buzzer went off. They had just hit the winning three pointer making the score now 42-10, giving them the title of state champs. Blu watched as they were handed their trophy and started to take pictures. She wasn't even mad about losing their championship game.
With their record, she was even surprised they even reached the championship. Regardless, it didn't faze her that much, but she couldn't say that for her other teammates. She let a small sigh, standing up straight then walking to the locker room. As she headed inside all she heard was shouting which made her roll her eyes.
"We lost because of the lack of teamwork. Everyone was arguing with each other!" One girl shouted, Blu walked past her and going to her stuff that sat on the bench.
"Not only that, but some people on the team think they're better than others." The girl remarked, side eyeing Angel and Blu. Angel caught her and stared right back.
"We gotta a problem?" Angel asked and the girl look away. "That's what I thought. And no one thinks they're better than anyone. We don't communicate, so that's why we lost."
"If you can't take a simple lose then you shouldn't be playing any sports." Blu retorted, putting her bag on her back. She walked out the locker room slightly annoyed, but she didn't show it.
She seen her mom standing by the door and she walked over to her. A huge smile formed on Crystal face, Blu giving her mom a weird look.
"Are you okay?" She asked and Crystal nodded her head.
"I'm fine, why you'd ask?" Crystal questioned, Blu look her mom up and down. She was still smiling hard which was scaring Blu.
"No reason." Blu answered, hesitantly.
"Okay, we need to head home now. There's something waiting for you." Blu nodded her head and they both headed out the gym.
"So, how was the game?" Crystal asked as they walked to her car.
Blu shrugged her shoulders, "It really wasn't anything. We lost." She answered nonchalant. They reached the car and they both got inside.

"I'm sorry to hear that, y'all girls worked hard to get to that position. I'm sure you'll be going to the championship again, I'm guaranteed you will." Crystal said starting up the car, Blu hummed a little placing her head on the window.
She checked her phone seeing notifications from different apps. She seen a message from Jahseh and clicked on it.
𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐈🥰🥵
when u see this u might be
tired but u spending the night
with me so bring ya ass over
and don't make me ask twice
or we gonna have a problem
Blu playfully roll her eyes, replying back to his message.
"Sooo..." Crystal dragged, glancing over at her daughter. "...school is almost over. How you feel about that?" she asked, sparking up conversation as they make their way home. It was a half an hour drive back, but the way Crystal was driving, they were going to be home in minutes.
Blu humped her shoulders, "Ion know, it's just school." She answered, Crystal frowning at her answer.
"Yeah, but it's ending in a few weeks. Your about to go to prom, take your final exams and then it's graduation. You should be happy about all that."
"It's whatever." Blu muttered. In all honesty, she wasn't too happy about it all coming to an end.
Time had went by fast in her opinion and she didn't want any of it to end. She had made some amazing friends and even had some very memorable moments that she wasn't ready to just let go yet. She wasn't even sure what her future was looking like at the moment either.
She had spent the last five months applying to colleges and no word for any just yet. She was worrying a lot, but she didn't show it. If only she had more time, she could be able to wrap her head around the fact that high school was about to be over and she was about to step into the real world.
Was she even ready?
Crystal groaned, "I can't keep this a secret anymore. Blu, there's two letters for you at home from Jackson and North Carolina. I was suppose to wait until we got home, but I just couldn't. Are you happy?" She asked eagerly, more happy than Blu. She glance over at Blu seeing the same plain look on her daughter face.

"You heard me?" She asked and Blu nodded her head.
"Yeah, I heard you. Can we not talk about it right now." Blu told her mom, shifting in her seat. Crystal nodded her head, accepting her wishes.
"Okay, but I can't wait for you to open those letters. My baby going to Jackson or North Carolina A&T. I can't wait to share the news with the family..."
Blu tuned out her mom who continued talking. She could tell she was happy since Blu would be the second women in her family to actually go to college. But, that wasn't something Blu was just thinking about. It was something she didn't want to think about at all.
She stared at the envelope that had her name on it. She was scared to open it because she didn't know what it would say. A huge part of her thought she wasn't accepted which made her scared to open it. She just stared at the letter, hitting it against her hand.
"I can't do this." She muttered, putting the letter on the dashboard. She leaned the seat back, putting her feet up. The car door opened and Jahseh got in, a bag of food in his hand.
"Babe, you lucky I love you cause I literally waited half an hour for them to make your food." He told her, Blu smoke taking her food.
"Thank you and I love you too." She said back, leaning over and pecking his lips.
"Mhm, you opened it yet?" He asked leaning back in his seat. She shook her head taking her fries out and eating some.
"Babe, what's taking you so long? Just open it." He told her and she shook her head.
"I can't..."
"Why?"
She shrugged her shoulders and Jahseh suck his teeth. He pinched her thigh making her jump.
"I hate when you do that." She said, smacking his arm.
"I wouldn't have to if you answered my question. It's your acceptance letter mamas, so open it." He told her.
"But, what if it's not my acceptance letter. What if they tell me I'm not accepted and now imma look stupid."
"You would never know if you don't open it. Fuck it, imma do it." He reached over moving her feet and grabbing the envelope. He started tearing the envelope then took out the piece of paper.
"Dear Miss Randals, after carefully reviewing your application, we regret to inform you that we are not offering you admission to Jackson State University." Jahseh spoke and Blu mouth dropped open.
"Are you serious?" She asked, staring at him. Jahseh look at her then shook his head.
"Nah, I'm not serious. You actually got accepted baby." He told her handing her the letter. She snatched it from him and he started laughing.
She read the letter seeing that she was indeed accepted. "Jahseh, that's not funny." she said, shoving his arm.
He kept laughing, "Sorry, but you was so worried about not getting accepted that I had to. So, now you can stop stressing yourself out. We both going to the same school, so we won't be separated. You happy?" He asked her and she raise her brow.
"Wait, you got accepted too?" She asked and he nodded his head.
"Yeah, I got accepted in a few that I applied to, but I chose Jackson." He answered making her smile.
"Aww, but why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I knew how stressed out you've been lately about the future. Usually, it's me that's been stressing about the future, but since we're close to the end of the school year it's been you. So, when I found out that I got accepted, I kept it from you because I didn't want you to be upset. But, now we can be happy while going to the same school." He answered and she nodded her head.
She let out a sigh of relief, "Well, I'm feeling relaxed now. Wanna bust my doonies down?" She asked bluntly.
"Wanna bust my doonies down." He mocked her and she smack her lips. "I'll handle you when we get home baby."
She started dancing in her seat and Jahseh shook his head.

Beneath the Dragoneye Moons
Elaine is ripped from this world to Pallos, a land of unlimited possibilities made real by a grand System governing classes, skills, and magic. An ideal society? What is this, a fantasy novel? Adventures? Right this way! A Grand quest? Nah. Friends and loot? Heck yes! Humans are the top dog? Nope, dinosaur food. Healing and fighting? Well, everything is trying to eat her. Join Elaine as she travels around Pallos, discovering all the wonders and mysteries of the world, trying to find a place where she belongs, hunting those elusive mangos, all while the ominous Dragoneye Moons watch her every move. Hey! Beneath the Dragoneye Moons is my first writing effort, so please be kind, but don’t hesitate to point out the flaws. The story starts off slowly, more like a slice of life than action-adventure, but it gets there! I’m going to be posting M-W-F I do know how the story ends, and I promise if it ever gets dropped, or I stop doing this, I will post the ending. There will be no random “this is the last chapter” out of the blue. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

Accompanied by a bar wench, who is far more than she seems, the mercenary Orc, Daenan and his tiny, flying companion, Faen, all with their own plans and agendas, they seek to tackle a monster in the shape of a man who controls the city. In the depths of the woods, far away from what humanity sees as the centre of civilisation, the lone, independent city of Lanas prepares itself for war, for the Kingdom of Maldora has set its eyes on them and their wealth. A cry for help goes out and bonds long faded into obscurity are renewed. And the world quakes when their calls are answered. Melena, once a slave girl, resides happily in the Mansion and is slowly getting used to her new life, where equality seems to rule. Until a noble's son decides that her very attractive body is something he should own. When the enigmatic master of the Mansion decides to personally deal with the rulebreaker, her world is turned upside down as she stumbles upon ancient mysteries that threaten to overwhelm her. Luckily she finds support in her once-liberator, now turned friend, the happy-go-lucky Evon, who carefully hides his past, the ghost-like Khrast, Kreya and many others. It is a tale of adventure, of lies and deceit, of love lost and found, of bravery and cowardice and where every one of our heroes and villains alike strive to find the answer to the same question: who is the being behind the Mansion of the Woods?
