My feet touched the cold bathroom tile as I stepped out the shower. My legs still felt achy and it would be a bold lie if I was to say my tummy felt fine. I wanted to scream when he pulled out and let me use the bathroom. I'm pretty sure my intestines are permanently moved to my sides.
My reflection caught my eye as I moved in front of the mirror and grab my tooth brush, putting some tooth paste on it as I begin to brush my teeth. My eyes traveled down to my belly and I gently rested my hand on it. I've been pregnant for a month now and I could see a barely visible bump. They said the baby doesn't start to show until 12 weeks and I'm already seeing a difference.
I nervously look out towards the bedroom at Dion who laid in the bed. He was too focused on his phone to even notice me watching him. Christmas was this week which was perfect for me to give him a pregnancy test and pop the news but I could tell he already had a feeling what was going on.
My mood swings were absolutely terrible.
Just yesterday I got overly upset at him over the fact that he wasn't snuggling me close enough during our movie. I damn near cried when he looked at me confused but switched up when he put me in his lap and tucked my face in his neck.
I smile at the memory and sigh happily, "He's so perfect," I dreamily think about my man as I rub my tummy slowly, "Imma have eight kids the way he got me wrapped around his finger." I shake my head at the thought before making my way out the bathroom.
Dion didn't even look up as I walked into the room, making me frown. I fake groan and sigh loudly, making him look up from his phone to me, smiling as I hobbled my way over, "You so sexy when you can't walk." He opened his arms to me and I let myself climb right into them. He pressed a kiss to my head and I flick his chest, "Shaddup.. I got work later too." I whine and he chuckles, "You'll be alright.. and if it's too bad just call out or sumn." I shake my head, "I'm a nurse.. I'm not gonna call out." I say in a duh voice and he hums absentmindedly as his phone vibrated, "M'kay, baby." His attention moved back to his phone as his thumb scrolled down.

I peek over his hand to see what he was doing but he quickly turned the screen away from me. I inwardly curse when I can't make anything out. "What you doin?" He asks and I look at him, "Tryna see." I grab his wrist and he shakes his head as he moves his phone away, "Issa secret. Get awf me." I pout and try to pull his arm closer, "We don't hide things from each other." I whine and he shakes his head again, "I'm not hiding it.. I'm just saving it for later." He said in a duh tone and I grimace, "I'm gonna bite you if you don't show me." He looks me up and down, "I'll make you late for work if you do that." I groan loudly and give in as I turn away and bury my face in my pillows.
His hand moved to my hair as he gently massaged my scalp, "Stop wit the attitude. You know Christmas around the corner." I was almost drooling as I leaned into his touch. I hum softly, "I want a puppy, some chocolate, and a vacation." I peek my head up and he looks down at me, "What else?" I raise a brow, "A million dollars and my own island." He hums softly, "Our own island.." he mumbles and I look at him hard for a moment, "I'm joking.. don't buy me an island.. that's too much money." He nods his head but I know he was still thinking about it as he looked at his phone screen.
I eye him for a moment before giving in and resting my head on his chest. A little nap before work won't hurt anybody.

To say this was a rough day was such an understatement.
I had a kid throw up all over my shirt, new baby parents who argued with me over the smallest things, and then one of the other nurses went home early meaning more paper work for me.
I groan loudly as I grab my lunch bag and make my way to the break room. I wish Tasha was here to listen to me scream and rant about my patients but she sadly wasn't even in state. Something about a friend needing her to help him with something.. I don't know.

I sit down at an empty table and take out my food before opening my phone. I click the FaceTime button and tap her name, watching my face on the screen eat as I waited for her to pick up.
"No she doesn't like that color.. Hey bestie!!" Her hushed whisper turned into a yell as she smiled widely at me. I smile and shake my head, "Why did you abandon me at work?!" I whisper yell and she smirks, "That's for me to know and you to find out mama.. Now why you callin me and not making friends?" She raised a brow and I suck my teeth before rolling my eyes, "I don't need more friends." I defend but she was barely paying attention as a hushed voice asked her a question.
"Are you wit a man?" I gasp and her eyes flick back to the screen, "Yeah and? Why you in grown folk business?" I giggle and lean closer, "Because I can be. Show me his face." I put my eye to the camera and she giggles as she shakes her head, "Nope. Issa secret." I pout, "Yeah whatever.." I brush it off but keep nosily looking at the screen as he tapped her shoulder.
"Pink?? When has she ever wore that color?" Tasha looks at him like he's stupid and he grumbles, "I dunno." The voice made my brows furrow. It sounded way too familiar. "Have I met him?" I speak up and I peep the worried look on her face which quickly changes back to sassy, "No! Now imma hang up on you and you can keep eating ya lil bunny salad." I pout, "Nooo! Just let me get a peek!" I whine and she smiles, "Byeeee!" She sings and hangs up the phone. I groan loudly and sigh, "Asshole." I go to my next best option and hit Dion's name.
The phone rang a few times, making me frown before he finally picked up. He was walking out a store as he answered me, "Hi baby." I smile hugely as I waved at him, "Hiiiii." I coyly tease back and watch him smile, "You miss me already?" He teases and I nod my head, "Yeah.. and Tasha has a new boo.. She won't even tell me who it is!" I whine and he pouts, "You want me to come get you for lunch?" I consider it for a moment but shake my head no, "No.. I have to work soon anyway.." I frown and he matches me, "I have to go then so I'll see you at home." He cuts our convo quick but I don't question it, "Okay.. Bye." I give him an air kiss and watch him return it, "Bye, baby." Those familiar three beeps ended our call and I groan softly as I stab my salad with my fork.
"Both Tasha and Dion are so freaking busy that they can't even talk to me?!" I shake my head, "What are they doing thats so important?" My mind reeled back to this morning. All of those missed calls had been so strange. I wanted to believe that she was just trying to reach me but it was impossible as my phone had no missed calls from her. She called Dion Thirteen times early in the morning and didn't even text me.
I didn't want to jump to conclusions about anything but the behavior was too weird for me. Tasha has never been the type to try to steal men or help one cheat but the probability was still there although really low. I think of Dion and how he hid his phone. He looked hesitant to answer when he saw she called and then wouldn't let me see who he was texting?
He's hiding something big.
My appetite was gone as I packed up my food back in my bag. I sigh softly and make my way out of the lunchroom and back to my next, more than wanting to just go to sleep.

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
