Needless to say, I did what I was told.
I got out of the Uber and looked at the huge mansion. Compared to my shitty apartment this was a big upgrade. I knocked softly on the door and surprisingly it opened quickly.
"So I guess you do follow directions." He said.
"Good morning to you too. I didn't get your name."
"James, James Auben." He said proudly, I was definitely going to do some research on him later. "So Tanya, I came to you with a job opportunity." If it was any other guy I would've punched his fucking lights out but, I knew I couldn't with James. "I want you to be my maid." I frowned.
"What?" He called me all the way here, missing out on sleep so I could be his fucking maid? What kind of shit is he smokin, cause I want some.
"I'm not smoking anything Tanya," Did I say that out loud? Whoops. "I'm trying to help you out here. I think you would be valuable to me. Of course you won't just be my maid. I suggest you take the offer." Who the hell was this white boy?
"Sir Listen I already have a jo-" my phone started ringing. I stepped aside and answered it.
"What's up Kandi?"
"Tanya the club, the police raided it last night. It's shut down." I hear her crying. I knew who was up to this by the way James had studied my face. "It's okay Lasandra, we'll figure it out. Let me call you back." Lasandra was Kandi's real name, but to save time I called her Sandra, and I called Keano, Kane.
I hung up the call and swiftly turned around to James.
"I don't know what you're up to but it's not cool, some people have to actually work to get things." To be honest, I was kind of hurt, Pimpz was the only thing I knew, how else was I supposed to find a way to survive?

"Calm down Lasandra and Keano will be paid, only if you agree to work with me." I clenched my jaw. This dude had a death wish. But then I thought back to Lasandra and Keano.
"Fine. Where's the contract?" He smiled. He pulled out a couple of papers and handed me a pen. I sent him a glare before signing the papers.
My first mistake.
"Great. I'll get you moved in and I'll tell you your schedule-"
"Wait."
"You should start reading your contracts before you sign Love." He said before walking away making a few phone calls. My phone rang as well.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Tanya, you will not believe this, fifteen thousand dollars just got deposited into my account. I feel like this isn't real!" I heard Sandra exclaim.
"I'm so happy for you Sandra. Tell Keano I said hi."
"Okay, I gotta go pay my bills bye!" What did I sign myself up for?
"Okay Tanya, here are a few rules if you're going to be staying here. One, no leaving after nine unless permitted. Two, you must do everything I say, if you disobey me consequences will be distributed." I scrunched up my face at that but hid it quickly. Who is he my father?
"Three, I expect you to be up at Eight AM every morning to fix me breakfast. You will be in charge of making all of my meals. Your off day is on Sunday. In this house you will cook, clean, and take care of me."
Gotdamn. I gotta take care of a grown ass man. "Four, no profanity or vulgar words." I chuckled humorlessly.
"Oh hell no-" he sent me a glare that made me back down immediately.
"Five, you have to wear the uniform I give you." I clenched my jaw. This is where he got me. I went to the back of my mind and thought about Sandra and Kane.
You're doing this for them.
Sighing I nodded. I would have to follow theses white man's orders to the best of my abilities.
But this dude was lighting a fire and not expecting the smoke.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
