Janet and Ashley walked into The Kitchen together at 8pm that evening. Janet still was feeling the sting of betrayal, but thought getting out of the house would be good for her.
“Do you have a reservation?”
“Yes, party of 2 under Miller.” Janet said.
“Hold on, I didn’t make the reservation…” Ashley said.
They laughed as the employee looked annoyed.
Janet looked and saw Steve sitting next to a woman. She then said, “What I meant to say is that we are a part of the Bray party.”
“The Bray Party?”
“Yes, Steven Bray, he is sitting right there.”
“Are you certain, he didn’t say anything about…”
“Go ask him.” Janet said with a twinkle in her eye.
The man walked away towards Steve’s table.
“Let’s just go somewhere else.” Ashley said.
“We said we were going to go to The Kitchen, so we are gonna go to the kitchen.”
Steve looked up and smiled as Janet shrugged her shoulders. He then shook his head yes.
The employee walked back over and said, “please follow me.”
“So why did you think you were going to crash my party?” Steve said.
“I’m sorry, but we forgot to make a reservation.” Ashley said to the woman.
“Oh, this is my date, Lois. I only hope that she will go out with me again after this stunt you two pulled.” He said
“Please forgive us.” Janet said while shaking Lois’ hand. She seemed to be a little more annoyed, but Janet really couldn’t blame her.
After a few more minutes the waiter came by to take their drink orders when Janet saw Penny and Terry walk in.
“Oh no he didn’t.” Janet said loudly causing Terry to look over at the table. Everyone in the restaurant could hear Janet.

“Oh no he didn’t.” Janet said again.
“Bring it down…” Ashley whispered to Janet. “Now isn’t the place.” She continued.
Terry then turned around and began to leave the restaurant when Penny grabbed him to stop.
Janet began crying and Steve came over and put his arm around her. “It ain’t worth it…they ain’t worth it.” Steve said.
It looked like Terry convinced Penny to leave and they walked out of the restaurant. Ashley and Steve were calming each other down for a few more minutes.
Lois then said, “Steve, it looks like I am the odd one out for your little threesome so I am going to take a cab home.”
“No, we should go.” Janet said while wiping a tear.
“No, you stay, and Steve, lose my number.” Lois said. She then stood up and walked out.
Then Ashley snickered. This led to both Steve and Janet laughing.
Ashley then mimicked Lois, “Lose my number.” She said in a high pitched way.
“Well, let’s just go on and eat so that I can get this threesome that was promised to me.” Steve joked.
“In your dreams…” Ashley said.
After that, the conversation went to work and other lighter topics.

I'm Sure It'll be Fine! ...right?
We live to die, and die to live again. This Cycle continues, neither to Begin nor End. Ever Beginning, never to End, we come to the story of our Unusual Friend. The Gods are as varied and unique as the mortals that worship them. Some are kind, others are fluffy, and (given the nature of the multiverse) a few are Eldrich Abominations of Unspeakable Horror. But that's fine, those few tend to mind their own business... At least until an Eldrich Abomination (an interdimensional cosmic slime-mold specifically) gets itself devoured by a Lich during a ritual to obtain Godhood... Especially because anyone, even a Lich, who's willing to eat an ENTIRE COSMIC SLIME-MOLD for any reason, even godhood, is undoubtedly a madman...who's now set his unsightly gaze upon replacing (likely by devouring) the Godess of Magic herself! She could probably use some help...if only to avoid touching the slimy Lichgod directly. Also, the Eldrich Gods are protesting these events in their usual manner...by trying to destroy all of Creation.
