《Not Afraid (Billy Loomis x reader)》3- rescue

I froze at what he just said. For some reason I was calm. Like an eye of a hurricane. Being so peaceful and calm while everything is being destroyed around you. I know I should run away from him and call the police, but I didn't want to. "It's okay." I said staring at him with sympathy.
His head rosed from his hands, confusion splattered his face. "What?"
"I'm no angel either. Plus it's going to take a lot more than that to scare me away." I chuckled while pulling him in an embrace.
"You're not afraid?" He whispered.
"I'm not afraid." I told him.
His hand crest my cheek as he kissed me. I laid in Billy's grasp for a while until he said "Come on let's get you home." I nodded.
As Billy dropped me off I saw the lights in the house were on. Damn it. I thought I would make it before back before she did.
"Where the fuck were you!" A glass bottle was thrown towards me as I quickly ducked. "I'm sorry I didn't realized how late it got. I'm sorry." I said flinching at her tone. My aunt marched towards me like a tornado on steroids threatening to reek havoc. I tried to back away but a wall caught me, then I felt an ice cold slap across my cheek. Tears started to spill.
My aunt paused realizing what she'd done "I-I'm sorry, (Y/n). I didn't mean to."
I was already sprinting out the door. Tears blurring my vision as I bumped into a chest.
"What happened?! I heard yelling so I came back!" a blurry Billy looked at me concerned.
"Billy, please we need to get out of here." I sobbed while cupping my raw cheek.

"okay, okay. Come on." He helped me to his car. Once we got inside his house I broke into tears. he just held me, stroking my hair, as we laid on his bed, my throat raw from sobbing.
He didn't force me to talk about what had happened, we just laid there, him holding my trembling body.
As the sun shined through the curtain I yawned sitting up, but I was quickly pulled back into Billy's embrace. I smiled at his restful face. "Billy, we have school." I told him.
"Lets just skip." He groaned.
"Fine but I need to grab some stuff at my Aunt's house. She should have left for work already."
Billy sat up rubbing his sleepy eyes. "Okay, but I'm coming with." Since we fell asleep in yesterday's clothes we just headed out the door.
"Hey Billy, why aren't your parents home?" I asked hoping I didn't step over the line with that question.
"Well, my scum bag of a dad cheated on my mom, so she left us." He looked blankly at the road as we continued to drive. "And my dad's never ever really home. He's either at the bottom of a bottle or at work."
"I guess every family is screwed up." I dryly laughed. "My mom died a month ago, she was an addict." I paused looking down at my thumbs. "The scary thing is that I didn't care. I know I should because she's my mother and all, but I felt she deserved it." I said looking up at Billy as his eyes studied my face. "You know?"
"I completely understand, when I first killed I felt like I escaped from the outside world, like I was on a high. I thought I was going insane at first, hell maybe I am." He chuckled.

I extended my hand out. "Welcome to the club of fucked ups." I smiled as he shook my hand than kissed my forehead. I stepped out the car. "Okay, the front door's locked, you wait here I'll climb up to my window."
"No need." He pulled out a lock pick from his back pocket, walking up to the front door.
"Got it." he called out.
"Impressive." I smirked playful slapping his back. He followed me inside as I led him to my bedroom. I grabbed a bag stuffing some of my clothes and toiletries into it.
"What's this?" Billy asked with a playful tone. I looked over my shoulder to see him holding a lingerie set. My face turned bright red.
"Hey! put that back!"I yelled in embarrassment.
"Is it possible that our little (Y/n) isn't as innocent as she seems?" Billy smirked.
"You're an ass." I said snatching it from his grip trying to hide a smile. Billy just laughed.
"Alright I got everything, let's go." As we got into the car I asked "Can we go to the lake again?"
"Sure" He said glancing at me as he continued to drive.
