《A beautiful mistake》29

She really wanted to believe him. To believe those grey eyes that made her heart pound everytime. But falling for Roman Cervantes was pure torture. One day he was into you so much that you'd almost have sex in the dining room and the next he was not. The next he was a cruel guy who didn't want anything to do with her.
Color drained from his eyes when she said she didn't want him, it was like he was breaking from the inside and when Mikaella went to say something more, this came out instead,
"Aaah_chew!"
She sneezed right in Roman's face. Roman pulling away slowly removed his jacket wrapping it around Mick's shoulders.
"Let's go home" He simply stated.
She couldn't quite pin it but deep down she knew he was upset. Did he really care for her?
"I still have work to do so excuse me,"she replied trying to move past him but he was quick to grab hold of her wrist, taking advantage of the situation and yanking her into his arms, carrying her bridal style.
"Put me down...aah-chew! Put put...aah..put me down!"
"Nope" he said firmly.
Embarrassment washed her face the second they left the room, maids staring at them, some couples even smiling at them acknowledging that true love exists. Mick hid her face in his warm chest not because the cologne he had on was simply inviting her in but because the whole scenario made her look like some damsel in distress unlike the boss they knew.
As immediate as the sun's light her head, Roman put her down, his keys being brought by the valet immediately. She didn't know what to say, all she knew was that Roman's jacket at this point warmed her up. Once in Roman's passenger seat she buckled her seat belt a tremendous headache kicking in together with the snorts.

She felt sick and she knew it.

"Mick! Mick," a warm hand cupped her cheek and she tried opening her eyelids but she lacked the energy.
Quite frankly her whole body felt drained like someone had squeezed the juice out of her. And her nose ooh her nose made her feel worse. She tried breathing in but one nose was definitely not working. It was heavily clogged with what she'd assume as snort.
The hand went to her head again, the head that throbbed from one side to the next.
"Come on, you gotta eat something,"Roman spoke.
His hand going to her waist, he helped her sit up. She let her back lay against the headrest. She opened her eyes and Roman was right there with a bowl of soup. She watched him put a spoon in it, scoop a good amount of the soup and direct it towards her,
"Don't be stubborn, open up"
He said.
Stubborn. That was the last thing on her mind. She didn't have it in her to be stubborn, she felt like a freaking car had ran her over, her joints ached, her head throbbed, the room spinned, her eyes dimmed and when she went to open her mouth, the sudden air hit her throat making it hurt.
She swallowed saliva only for the pain in her throat to intensify.
Roman noticed it and his face concorted with worry.
"Where does it hurt?"
Clutching her neck she signalled and Roman came closer.
Did he not understand she was sick? Why would he come close when it was as clear as day she had the flu?
"I'm so sorry. I should have been there to stop him from doing this to you...hey look at me please take this for me,"he cooed and she opened her mouth despite the pain she felt.

With every gulp, the pain in her throat became worse but it was thanks to him that she felt better. After the meal she had, she could say she had gained some bit of strength. The soup was delicious that she made a mental note to thank Marga after all this was over.
Slowly retreating to the sheets, she covered herself up only to feel Roman's body tower over her and his lips peck her forehead. Sure she was sick but at this time, she didn't want him to leave. She wanted him to stay. To watch over her. To care for her.
So with a bold move, she took his hand in his pulling him closer to her and into the bed. As soon as she could feel his chest from the back she briefly drifted to la la land.

Transdimensional Marketing
I am merely a reviewer, albeit the products I review are slightly different. For example, I review quantum computers, artificial intelligence, anti-gravity mech armor, planetary engines, sublight colonial ships, stellar detonators, etc… Chen Yu: “The technological product I bring to everyone for today’s episode is—a dual-vector foil! W-Wait! Everyone, please calm down! Let me explain…”

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.
