《The Empress' Son》CHAPTER TWELVE

"Tag?" Eldest asked with her eyebrow raised, confusion evident on her face.
It was as if she's already not into the game and wanted to protest, but she cannot do anything with it.
I nodded my head in affirmative. "Why? Can't you even stretch your legs to run?" Her expression is priceless! From her curious expression, it turned into a grimace as she heard those words from me.
"You know what I can do, crown prince."
"Nah, it doesn't matter," stepping backwards, I grinned at her again. "Now, are you ready to play?"
She scratched the back of her neck as she frowned at us. Her golden eyes somehow showed annoyance on it, but what's more significant to me is the small half-moon mark on the side under her right eye.
Sighing in defeat, she still have a frown on her face. "How are we going to start this nonsense game anyways?"
"Hm, how would we?" Klydeur and I looked at each others, before we both beamed a smile. "I know! You start it!"
Her frown almost looked like she's ready to kill us anytime. I guess we annoyed the hell out of her already. "Why you piece of shi-"
Klydeur chuckled. "You're it!"
With that, both of us sprinted away, leaving her mumbling to herself, "Being a kid really is the worst thing in life." Before she started to run behind us.
"Where is she now, hyung?"
Klydeur and I stopped on the hallways, catching our breath as we did. We managed to successfully run away from her, and with that, we can escape from her and tell Aureus that she isn't a suitable playmate.
After that, my life will be at peace.
"I guess she's lost now," I tried to suppress my grin as I leaned over a wall. "Maybe we should stay here and rest for a while."

He nodded his head in agreement before he sat on the floor, looking outside the grassy field. "The weather seems like it will rain sooner or later."
"Yeah." I commented, looking up the sky to see the dark gray clouds.
"Hyung, what do you think is mama doing right now?"
I blinked my eyes as I looked at Klydeur. "I.. Clydeur doesn't know. Maybe she's busy just like what nanny said." Obviously, I also have no idea about what she is doing right now.
He held his chin and pouted. "Is mama tired of playing with us? And so she sent us a playmate?"
I have thought of thesame thing too.
The perks of being twins.
"Clydeur have thesame thought in mind," I lowered my head, before I tilted it up with a nod when an idea striked my head. "Maybe we can try to invite mama to play with us tomorrow."
"Really?" Klydeur's eyes twinkled in joy and excitement.
I sighed as I gave him a smile. "Yeah-"
We suddenly stood frozen on the ground as we heard her voice. Looking around, I faced Eldest whose grinning towards us.
More like a dangerous smirk.
"Run!" But before we can even run away, I felt myself floating in the air again. This time, Klydeur also floated and it looks like he's in the verge of a nervous breakdown.
Roaming my eyes around, I stepped into the wall and jumped into another wall, thus ending a bit far away from her. Klydeur seems to understand my route escape, and so he did thesame thing.
"Where do you think you two are going?" I looked back to see Eldest flying towards us. It was as if she's faster than the speed of light and she actually caught the both of us. "Finally finished."

For a moment there, her hair seems to glow gold at that time.
It wasn't just flight that she could do, she actually teleported inside Klydeur's library after she had caught us. "What are we doing here?" I asked as she put the both of us down the floor.
Klydeur smiled as he went to pick up the books he's already planning to read. "Reading time!"
With a frown, I glared towards Eldest whose acting to be innocent. She looked at me with her head tilted on the side. "What?"
"This is boring." I mumbled to myself as I sat on the chair, before dropping my arms and head on the table. "It's too hot in here." I commented in disbelief.
Klydeur looked up and nodded. "Klyde is confused. Outside it is cold, but it is hot here inside."
"How I wish I can feel like it is snowing already." I muttered to myself, closing my eyes as I felt the coldness of the breeze inside the library.
Opening my eyes once again, I looked around, only to see Eldest tapping her fingers on the table. Her other arm is rested on the table with her chin resting on her palm. She glanced at me with a grin. "There you go, your highness."
"Wow! Klyde is amazed!" Klydeur smiled widely as he seems to enjoy the cold breeze.
Closing my eyes, I appreciated the coldness inside the library too, as I felt myself drop down the table again and drift into a deep slumber.

Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends
In the civilized world of humans, 'monsters' have all but passed into legend. But when something goes bump in the night, when people begin to disappear, when a dark mystery begins to haunt even the most peaceful villages, there is only one organization to turn to: the Hunters. The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Horrors yet unknown even to him and his many scars await in the claws, talons, fangs, and mysterious powers of creatures so far beyond humans that he must dedicate himself entirely to the art of slaying them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. Their motives, however, are not always what they seem.

Captain Critiques: A Grumpy Pirate Review Book
(CURRENTLY OPEN)When it comes to reviews, I'm probably as harsh as the hellhole most story ideas crawl out of. I'm blunt, sarcasic, to the point and I know what I like in a story. As you can probably guess, you don't wanna take my advice if your like an overprotective mother about your story. Who am I kidding, EVERYONE is like that about their stories. But, if you could find the courage to pry the story out of your cold, crabby hands so I can give my brutally honest opinion then be my guest. Just don't try and start a fight once I provide it. You DON'T wanna fight a pirate. .................................. I reserve the right to decline stories as this will be taking up quite a bit of my time and if I say no, I mean NO. If your blurb is unreadable I will decline it. If it includes the genres mentioned in my 'Hell No' section then I will send it back where it came from.Do NOT critique the Captain.
