"Who broke?" Joc walked past the door shuffling money.

I eyed her movements noticing where she was heading.

"Saturn shut the hell up!" She yelled and I bursted out laughing. "Shit."

"Okay see you aint even have to go off like that..." I rolled my eyes and got on my phone.

"Whea we goin?" Tooka asked laying beside my feet on his stomach.

"My grandma got a valentine suit at ha house" Karter said and we all started dying laughing.

"Haitian hotel type shit. " Mookie said laughing.

I looked around and stopped laughing noticing my friend was missing... well not my friend bu-you know...

"Where is Keeno?"

"Who-ohhh he sleep" Nyne told me , I side-eyed him for a lil , getting off the bed. I grabbed my phone and slipped on my slides before walking out the room.

I hated my bare feet on the floor. cold floors at that.

lets not even talk about how Nyne just tried to be funny.

I knocked on the door twice and walked in not even caring if he was going to answer.

"Sleezy?"

"..."

He stayed layed under the covers , I could tell he was sleep because his arm was hanging off the bed and he was laying on his stomach.

"Ugghh, Sleez get up. " I dragged walking to the bed and jumping on it.

He stayed in the same spot.

I got on his back and sat there staring at the side of his head.

I leaned down and put my face near his and stared at him smiling.

He sleeps like a baby.

"Keeno.." I whispered and he started moving his hand back. I stayed in the same spot until I felt him grab my vagina and backed away laughing grabbing his hand. He smiled and turned to lay on his back.

I hopped on his stomach and put my hands on his chest.

"You moving too much" He groaned.

"You not moving enough..." I retorted and he looked at me confused. "You look tired but I don't care , get up. "

"For what? And why you in there yelling about a nigga? You got a boyfriend assum?"

"Yeah he in the other room. " I nodded and he nodded also looking away.

After a while he tapped my thigh and pushed me off of him when I didn't move.

He went in the bathroom waddling and pulled something down on his frontside.

"Where we going?" I hopped up and tried to go in with him and he closed the door in my face. "Friend why are being mean today?"

"I'm not being mean you just agitating right now. " I heard him mumble and I frowned. "I'm still tired" He spoke up.

I grabbed my phone and left out bumping into someone since I wasn't looking.

"Whats wrong with you? Youn got no valentine?" Nyne smirked smoking his blunt.

I rolled my eyes and started smiling. "Boy bye ion need no valentine.."

"So I was to ask you , you would say no?"

"I'm pretty sure you're supposed to ask before-hand..." I told him and he nodded tucking his lip in his mouth. "And you should take your sons mother. "

I could never really see myself with him , he had a kid and he was a manipulator. I hated those type of people but Nyne was like a bestfriend. He brought a bad side to me though.

"You wan be my valentine?" He licked his lips with his head tilted and I smiled showing my braces.

"Sure...where we finna go?"

"Aww how cute. " Mookie and Hagani smirked walking passed us.

"Imma take you shopping and we can go from there. "

Nyne poured it on my pancakes for me noticing I was struggling .

"Do it neatly... " I told him and we all watched him pour it into the shape of a heart.

I turned my phone off and out some hand sanitizer on my hands before I started eating.

"I like us when we're living in the same house don't you all?"

I nodded. Ion know about them but it's fun. Never a boring day in that house even if we're just cleaning. We keep paying for it even though we were only supposed to go for about a week. The owners let us stay. Seeing the condtion we had it in.

"Yeah" The said agreeing.

I spent most of everyday either with my sister or with Sleezy. And we only ever did dumb stuff. If living life on the edge was a person it would be him. & I'm the junior.

Speaking of getting beat up I haven't got any play in forever.

It was quite for a while until I looked up and seen him staring at me.

"What?" I smiled.

"It's a little too late to talk about that Keeno, I don't want to anyways. "

"Cause it's weird and creeps me out in a way , like what was the point of us losing memory of eachother just to kiss and get all of them back , yeah I remember everything now and I'm comfortable with you again...I just wanna know why us . Why with you?"

He shrugged.

"We don't have to talk about it then, cause I don't know myself. "

I shook my head starting the car.

"Where we going?"

"Mm mm" I shrugged.

"I was at the store , and man. I never knew this is what the future had in store for us. " He laughed.

Hell is he talking about?

"The isles were kinda empty , just like how I am without you. " He touched my chin " It don't matter now though...take care. " He pulled away and stared out the window.

"Hope it wasn't the baby isle , cause baby i'll do anything to get you back" I responded.

"Not the baby isle , but it's funny how I used to call you baby. But I messed up and now you're gone."

"I'm right here" I glanced at him.

"Oh yeah" He scratched his head.

"Come on"

We got out and walked up to the door as I used my key to unlock it.

"Why you all up on me nigga?"

I laughed as he stood close up behind me.

"I'm scared" He lied.

I opened the door and we walking into the kitchen automatically pulling out snacks from the pantry.

"I want that.."

"Switch for that. "

I switched out the fruit roll up for his gushers.

"I don't know why you grabbed it anyway. "

"Ian see what I liked so I went with second best."

I plopped down on the couch and turned on the tv.

Swiping through Netflix I just put on Step sisters.

"They having a lil party tonight.."

"You goin?"

"We all going .. are you?"

"I gotta see my mama nem today. But if I got time..." I shrugged.

He nodded and looked away.

"What?"

"Hm" He gave me a key card and started eating his snacks.

"Whats th-"

"The Hilton.. you don't have to but imma be there in the morning"

I turned to the tv and sat there a while. I felt like I could see sounds and hear colors. Everything I put my eyes on zoomed in.

I felt breathing on the other side of my neck but no one was there. Turning around Keeno was staring at me.

We sat there for a while until leaning in and the door bursted open making us back up.

"SATURN! Hagani and Montana kissed!"

"Wha-"

"Janae and Tola fuc-" Mookie started but Jakia slapped him in the mouth. "Damnit Kia imma fuck you up!"

"Shut the hell up" She yelled at him and walked in the kitchen.

"Why y'all in here looking like some bad ass kids playing house?"

We looked at each other before looking back at them silently.

"Hmm.."

"I gotta go see my mama, i'll see y'all later. " I stood up and grabbed the key card sliding it in my back pocket.

i try to not be like one of those authors that are mean and rude for no reason. but y'all be tryna be funny. please don't.

side note though , i'm rewatching spider-man 3 , and how did the sand not get in this mans eye? like I never realized that.

ouu did I tell ya , the third book to the south side series , the first book is hood felony.-the third book is gonna be in New York and it's a cross over with saturn's child and .. Akio's child. . i wrote the chapters already shit so fire.

just gotta finish this book.
