"yes , not like i had a choice though it was more forced on me than anything. "
"church?"
he nodded. "yeah...why?"
i shrugged rubbing my swollen stomach.
"i wanna tell you something but i don't want you think i'm crazy.,"
"hey... i would never think that way about you. " he lifted her head and she smiled.
"are you sure?" she asked him and he nodded.
"my mom , she's a wit-"
"no" he stopped me.
"what?"
"you play like that all the time , i don't wanna hear the same thing i'm trying to have a serious conversation with you. "
"i am too Hasani and I think you need to listen , it's life or death right now and i'm carrying your children."
he stayed quiet and i sighed
"my mom and her best-friend have this group , it's a weird thing... they're like witches. and when i got pregnant , there was only one baby , she told me. you seen that. "
"yeah i remember they told us the other baby was hiding. "
"exactly but it wasn't hiding , it wasn't there. my mom and her friend , they call her Lady Kappa. Her daughters name is Myel and when the second baby came up she got pregnant too. Now me and Myel aren't very close. But we go to the same church and we've been talking-"
"Witches go to church?"
I rolled my eyes "Yes Hasani. "
"Okay. , continue"
"My mom and Lady Kappa both put spells on me and Myel creating a child that will be together in the future"
"For what?" And why couldn't they use the baby whom was already there?"

"She wasn't a match , and the second baby isn't from here"
"I'm not understanding"
"It's from another planet . A planet of it's own. It's like Hell but, I don't know..."
"Am I the father?"
"In a way yes , but the leader of the planet is a more dominant other half , so it's more of his than yours. That part broke me the most. This whole thing is an experiment for them , they didn't think about their kids only themselves "
"I'm sorry that this is happening to you"
"It isn't your fault" I gave him a faint smile.
"I just want this all over with , my babies.." i rubbed my stomach and a pain started.
"what's happening?" he touched me and the pain got worse.
"ahh!"
"baby what's happening?" Hasani panicked
standing up from the wooden chair.
"Hasani-"
The front door to our apartment busted open and my mom stormed in with two men. Hasani tried to block them from me but my mom slammed him into the wall causing him to pass out.
"mom- mommy please don't do this , not yet" i cried out in pain.
the men picked me up by my arms and carried me out. she followed behind and shut the apartment door.
my eyes fluttered open slowly and I raised my head feeling weak ,"mom?"
I looked around the dark room and realized where I was. It was a cave.
they set a lamp out for me , that was the only thing here. i could see the string of blood trail from between my legs. i covered my mouth as a tear fell from my eye.
"please.."
whimpering was heard from the far end of the cave. it was that end.
"hello?"
"my baby.." she whispered.

"Myel?" i tried to moved but the chain held me back.
"they took him.."
"no" i furrowed my eyebrows trying not to believe her.
"they took our babies Jessica."
"you'll get them back" my mother voice sounded from the other side of the cell door.
"mom-"
"don't call me that , just know you'll
get her back. "
"my other baby. " i touched my stomach.
"she's not ready , is just fine. "
"please.." Myel breathed out. "just let me see him"
"i'm sorry , but you can't" she walked away from the door slowly
"can i atleast know his name?!"
my mom turned around replying "It's " then disappeared.
