-You're just like Saturn to me, to me
I stood infront of the mirror in my room staring at myself.
Turning to the side slowly , I lifted my shirt .. Noticing over night my stomach had to grow. It was always flat , especially before I ate.
I rubbed my hand over my stomach slowly and looked at myself noticing my eye change colors.
They were purple.
Knocking on the door cut me out of my thoughts while the door opened I quickly put my shirt down.
The nurse , walked in standing beside the door.
"This is the first time i'm seeing you not avoiding me. " She spoke up smiling.
"Why do you continue to talk to me even though I ignore you?" I asked her. Not in a rude way but it might have came off that way.
"Just because you're rude doesn't mean I have to be" She spoke "I knew you were going through something , this is my job. "
I nodded.
"It's time to eat , usually on Tuesday's we let you all eat breakfast together. "
'if you've been in a psych ward like an actual resident there and what i'm writing about it is not accurate don't correct me. please don't.'
I nodded my head and walked out of the room infront of her.
"Well i'm not gonna be here long , so don't get used to me" I told her.
She smiled nodding.
"Yeah I would hope not , a psych ward isn't the best place to raise a baby.." She spoke. I looked up staring at her while she stepped in-front of me unlocking the door.
It opened and I walked in beside her. Seeing Selina and Keeno sitting at the table eating I walked over to them and sat down.

"Goooood mornings" Selina started smiling. She made me smile.
"Good-morning. " I greeted her back. My food was already strong there but it was hot.
I prayed before looking over it.
"It's fine" Keeno told me.
"It doesn't even look bad , school food looks worst than this. "
"I said the same thing when I first got here , this is more like a rehab instead a mental institution. "
"Why are you here?" I asked her before eating.
"I killed nineteen men" She spoke and I sucked the egg in making me choke.
Keeno started laughing continuing to eat his food "Hell nah..." He laughed.
"It was alllll self defense though. " She moved her hands around. I drunk some water and cleared my throat.
"Oh , really?"
She nodded. We continued eating and we were all brought a bowl of fruit.
"We gotta pay for this food?" I asked them.
"They take it off on my tab , you good. "Keeno told me. He touched my stomach and I ignored it eating some watermelon.
Selina took some mustard and put it on her watermelon and ate it.
Me and Keeno both stared at her. When she opened her eyes we looked away.
She finished swallowing her food before speaking up.
"What?"
"Is is good?"
"Yeah , try it" She passed us the mustard and I shook my head. "Saturn I know you'll like it , try it , here. "
"I feeel like this is a setup" I looked between her and Keeno.
"Why is that?" Keeno smiled.
I took the mustard and put it on some watermelon before eating it.
I chewed it slowly and fake a disgusted face.
"You know it tastes good fix your face." Keeno told me. I cut my eyes at him before reaching my hand over under the table and squeezing him making him clench his legs shut and move my hand.

"What do we do after this?"
"Well we help clean up , and then go to the study to read a book or play games , but in silence. But I like to sneak away sometimes and kill chickens"
She told us casually.
"I think the last one was pretty fye how about you?" Keeno looked over at me and I glanced at him with my head tilted.
"Da helll?"
"I have something planned for you two.."
"It was my idea" Keeno spoke up.
"I feel left out" I frowned.
"You should feel left in"
Keeno started laughing again covering his mouth.
"Alright! Breakfast is over guys!"
He pushed the door opened cluthcing my hand in his other while I walked behind him. My other hand I used to rub my stomach.
We walked into the room together and stopped. Selina was sitting there which what looked to be as if she was meditating.
There were candles around her and pillows on the ground. The rest of the room was dark.
"We finna summon the dead?" I whispered asking him.
He smacked his teeth and looked over at me. He guided me to one of the pillows and I sat down slowly. He then sat beside me and looked at Selina avoiding my stare.
"What the hell y'all do-"
"Sh" They both told me.
I stopped talking and waited in slicence.
"Here" she passed Keeno a box. A guy with a beard came in. Now if I haven't seen anyone that looks like someone straight off of a movie mental hospital. I've seen one now.
He sat beside Selina and stared at us all.
"Who's-" He mumbled the rest into Selina's ear. She nodded towards us still playing with fire.
The man passed me a box also and I was about to open it but he put his hand up stopping me.
"Are you ready?" He asked. Keeno looked over at me and I looked at him with a confused stare.
"You ready?"
"For what?"
"What you wanted" He told me.
I opened the box and stared at it.
"What ? Keeno asked. "What's wrong?"
"Why now?" I asked him. "You not want to be with me forever Keeno don't force yourself to now" I shook my head becoming emotional. I wiped my eye and closed the box back.
"Saturn do you not want to marry me?"
"More than anything in the world" I responded.
"I want to respect your wishes and marry you before our child is born. "
'sksksksksk now that
i'm editing this , I can see why y'all be confused. this is funny. '
I tried my best to deny that I was pregnant before marriage. I didn't want to believe it so I never spoke on it.
"Are you sure?" I tilted my head at him.
I was about to have a hippie wedding. And my family wasn't even here.
He nodded and kissed my forehead. I gave him my box and he gave me his.
"Are you licensed?" I asked Selina.
"No , but he is" She told me with her eyes closed. "He was a priest in a church , before he ran his car into a cattle farm and ended up here. "
Selina had a very heavy hispanic accent even though she spoke regular English.
The man was just white and old.
"We're ready" She told him. "Are you?" She asked me.
I looked over at Keeno and nodded my head.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
