Author's pov:

Avi and Maya are driving back home. For a change, Maya is driving the car while Avi is busy playing with her hair.

"Avi, please stop playing with my hair," Maya pleaded him.

"I won't," he said, like a stubborn kid.

"Fine. Do whatever you want to do." She said, huffing.

"Did I say this to you before?" said Avi.

"What?" she yelled.

"I...."

"You?"

He bent a little towards her and blew air in her ear, making her breath hitch. He sucked her earlobe and whispered "Love" in her ear huskily while she clutched the steering wheel tightly in her hands.

"Love," Maya said, repeating his words.

"Your hair," he said, sitting back properly in his seat like an innocent kid.

"Okay!" She said in a daze. "Wait. What did you just say?" She said, coming back into her senses.

"I said that I LOVE your hair," he said, stressing the word love.

"That's cheating, Avi." She complained.

"I didn't do any cheating. I'm just following my wife's path," he said, smirking.

"Huh! Idiot." She said, annoyingly.

Avi got busy playing with her hair and disturbing her with his antics while Maya was driving the car slowly as she didn't want them to land in the hospital.

As soon as Avi and Maya reached the house, four little hands hugged both of their legs at the entrance. Their smile grew wide when they saw Varsha and Vansh hugging both of them.

Maya picked up her little rakshasi (devil) in her arms while Avi lifted his little champ and threw him in the air and caught him. He again threw him in the air and caught him again, making Vansh giggle. He pecked Vansh's cheeks while Vansh gave a sloppy kiss on his Babai's (uncle) cheeks.

Maya took chocolate from her bag and gave it to Varsha, while that little girl happily grabbed the chocolate from her pinni (mother's younger sister) and started to munch on it, sharing some with Maya. Maya and Avi went and sat on the couch in the living room with Varsha and Vansh in their laps.

"Varsha, you are eating chocolates, again. Oh God! What do I have to do with you both? Maya, I'm telling you, you are spoiling this girl. She finished all the chocolates you gave her in a week, and she even ate Vansh's share of chocolates too." Arpita said, annoyingly looking at her daughter, who was giving her a toothy smile.

"Varsha, this is bad baby. I told you to share chocolates with Vansh, right?" To which Varsha nodded her head. "Then, why did you eat your chotu's chocolates too? And I told you to eat only one or two chocolates a day, right?" Varsha looked down. "Now say sorry to your chotu."

"Chorry chotu", Varsha said, cutely in her baby language holding her ears looking at Vansh who is in Avi's lap.

Vansh looked away and hid his face in the crook of Avi's neck. Everyone chuckled looking at the both of them.

"Look, who is saying talking about eating one or two chocolates in a day?" Avi said, mocking Maya. "You completed a box of chocolates within two days, did you forget that?"

Maya glared at him as he revealed her secret. Vani glared her listening to this while Maya pouted looking at her.

"When did you guys come?" Avi asked Arpita, who was now talking with Vani.

"An hour before", said Arpita.

"Where is bava (brother-in-law)?" Maya asked her sister.

"He is sleeping", said Arpita.

Maya mumbled, "Okay!"

"What's with the sudden surprise?" Avi asked Arpita.

"Nothing babu, Yash has a medical conference here. These both little devils are nagging me to bring them here", Arpita said, pointing at Varsha and Vansh. "So, we three tagged him along."

"Your work?" Maya asked Arpita, while sharing her chocolate with Varsha.

"Work from home", said Arpita while Maya mumbled, "Okay".

"Is everything okay there?" Vani asked Avi.

"Yes, amma!" With that, he said everything happened at Taara's house. "Tomorrow they will go to their kuldevi's temple for fixing the marriage dates."

"Okay", said Vani.

Soon all were engrossed in their talks. Avi was showing Vansh something in his mobile and whispered something in his ears. Vansh widened his eyes in surprise, shook his head and slapped his forehead. He looked at Maya who was talking to Arpita. He slowly crawled towards her and pulled her hair by holding it tightly in his small fist.

Maya was talking to Vani and Arpita when she felt someone pulling her hair. She looked around and saw Vansh pulling her hair by standing on the couch.

Arpita saw this and scolded him, "Vansh, what is this? Leave Maya's hair. Is this the way to behave with elders?"

"No amma, she is not giving a kiss to babai just like how you give to nanna. Baddy(bad) pinni", Vansh said, cutely in his baby language.

Arpita and Maya's eyes widened in shock listening to him, while Vani chuckled.

Composing herself Arpita asked Vansh,

"Who told this to you?"

"My helo(hero) and see I even shaw(saw) this." He snatched Avi's mobile from his hand and showed them the pic which Avi showed him.

It was a photo from Arpita and Yash's pre-wedding shoot. Looking at it, Arpita's eyes widened.

"Amma, why ale you kishing nanna hele? (Amma, why are you kissing nanna here?)" He said, pointing at his lips. "You nevel kished me ol akka and thele. (You never kissed me akka or me there.)" Vansh asked his mother innocently in his baby language making her embarrassed.

Maya, Avi and Vani were trying hard to control their laugh.

"Amma, say na", Vansh asked Arpita, who was busy in glaring at Avi.

Vani and Maya burst out laughing while Varsha sat in Maya's lap looking at them confused, not understanding anything.

Maya called Vansh and made him sit beside her, "Vansh, you love your hero right?"

To which he nodded his head.

"Your hero?" Maya asked Vansh.

"He lovesh (loves) me. Right helo(hero)?" He said, looking at Avi, to which Avi nodded his head.

"Then ask him why did he eat your favourite chocolate cake without sharing it with you?" Maya asked Vansh, while smirking at Avi.

Avi looked at her in horror listening to her while she gave him an innocent smile.

Vansh stood on the couch and placed his one hand on the hips and asked him pointing a finger at him, "You ate my favy( favourite) chocy cake without giving it to me."

While Avinav shook his head in a no and then yes. All controlled their laughter looking at both of them. Vansh is a big fan of Maya's chocolate cake, and he is also a big foodie like Avinav. So, Maya diverted the topic towards food as she knows him very well. He will forget everything when it's related to food.

"Did you eat?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at Avi.

"Yes", Avi said meekly.

Vansh climbed on Avi's shoulder pulled his hair making him wince in pain.

"Ah! Sorry champ, leave me. I'll get you a big chocolate cake for sure", said Avi.

Vansh's twinkled listening to it and he immediately got down and sat on Avi's lap and kissed his cheek.

"Pucca." Vansh asked him.

"Pucca", Avi said, pinching Vansh's cheeks.

"Yay!" He danced in Avi's lap and soon got busy in watching cartoon in Avi's mobile.

"Thank God!", Avi thought in his mind.

He looked at Maya who was laughing listening to Arpita's rants and lost by looking at her smiling face.

After a while, everyone went to their rooms to get ready as they have to leave for Anu's wedding.
