Adorjans pov
I watched Kalon pace his room back and forth.
I clicked my tongue through my teeth as if calling a dog. His head snapped to me, and with wide eyes, I knew I had his attention, but it wasn't for long.
"Come," I ordered. He slightly groaned before walking over, where I sat at the end of his bed.
"Sit." I continue to speak to him like an animal.
He huffed before plopping on the ground between my legs. He rested his chin on my thigh, glaring at me with irritated eyes.
I ruffled his hair, "good puppy." I smiled.
"Fuck you." He spits out at me.
I tugged the ends of his hair, forcing his head back. He let out a little whimper.
"Wanna try that again?"
"N-no master..."
"Good boy." I smiled, "I wouldn't wanna get the muzzle on you now, would I, boy?"
His eyebrows rose slightly, and as his face lightened, he avoided eye contact.
"Uhm..." he breathed out.
"Would you like a muzzle?" His eyes followed mine. I chuckled as I grabbed his muzzle on the nightstand.
I wrapped the muzzle around his head. His cheeks were bright red. I ruffled his hair before pulling him up onto my lap.
His eyes sparkled as he gently rolled over, lying on my lap. I began to rub his belly like a puppy. A smile came upon his face as he closed his eyes. I could tell he was relaxing, letting more of a puppy headspace take over.
I continued to rub his belly for a few minutes. I ruffled his hair a little before Vance's voice echoed up the stairs.
"Boys, come down!" He ordered. I groaned, slipping the muzzle off Kalon. I kissed his lips before heading downstairs.

Everyone was gathered in the living room. There was a tall boy who I instantly recognized.
His long black gloves were a dead giveaway. His deep brown eyes were almost black. He had medium-length golden blonde hair. You could catch half of his tattoo that was covered under his glove.
He had snakes and roses with diamonds, so many variations of tattoos.
Kalon's body froze behind me.
I felt his presence move closer as he hides his body behind mine.
"Silas." I greeted the man.
"Adorjan." He repeated back in the same dark tone. Declan scoffed.
"Well, Silas, you remember Adorjan and Declan...and the twins," Vance spoke.
"This is Milo. He and Declan have somewhat claimed each other-" Silas rolled his eyes.
"Eli, he can read minds," Vance warned as Eli glanced at him before nervously looking away with a shy demeanor.
"This is Kalon." Vance pointed to the small boy hiding behind me.
Kalon waved awkwardly. As Silas' face lightened, he took long steps over to Kalon. He reached out as I slapped his hand away. I felt Kalon's small hands grab ahold of my shirt.
Silas's eyes darted to mine.
"Don't you fucking touch him."
"Oh, Adorjan...I've got it under control now."
"I don't care if you have your sick curse under control or not, don't touch him." I snarled at him through my gritted teeth.
"Declan, will you show him to his room, please."
Declan reluctantly turned on his heels before taking Silas upstairs.
"I wasn't going to correct you in front of him, but you boys come here for a safe space, don't shame people for their abilities."
"With him here...I don't think this is a safe place!" My voice became louder. I was frustrated. Cassian, my vamp, was mumbling words in my head. He was itching to give his piece of mind.

"They say he's doing better, Adorjan!" Vance shouted back. My eyes flashed red as my head started to pound.
I stormed up to my room. I could hear Kalon on my heels.
He grabbed my wrist roughly; they were warm, not even to burn me, but enough to grab my attention.
My breathing was quick. I was furious with Silas that he thought he could touch Kalon like that. As well as Vance for thinking Silas being here is okay.
The hand around my wrist became even hotter, making me snap my head to Kalon.
"Fuck!" I shouted. Pulling my wrist away.
"Sorry..." he muttered
"You need to calm down! I don't like it when you're frustrated. It...scares me." His eyes sparkled as he spoke. He was making me exhale loudly as I stepped closer to him.
He looked up at me. "I'm sorry," I whispered.
"I don't like the way he wanted to touch you."
"Let's try and give him a chance...at least calm down about it...."
I nodded, watching his beautiful ocean blue eyes. He stood up on his tiptoes and kissed my lips.
"Don't make me put you in a puppy headspace." He threatened as he pulled away for our kiss. I rolled my eyes and chuckled.
"I think I'm gonna get to sleep early, though." He told me cautiously.
I cocked an eyebrow.
"Oh, are you okay?" I questioned.
"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine. I just have a headache." He smiled at me.
"Okay, I'll tell Vance you're skipping dinner?"
"That would be good, thank you." He smiled faintly before leaving the room.
I went down to tell Vance after, taking a couple of minutes to calm down.
Vance was getting plates out for dinner with Eli sitting on the counter.
"Hey, I'm sorry for raising my voice earlier," I whispered as I entered the kitchen.
He turned around to face me, giving me a gentle smile.
"It's okay, my boy. Here." He handed me a stack of plates. I handed him back the top one.
"Kalon went to bed early. He wasn't feeling well."
"Oh, maybe I should go check on him." Vance furrowed his eyebrows.
"I was just in there...." Another voice echoed. I looked behind me to see Silas up against the doorframe.
My anger rose once again.
"Why we're you in there?!" I thundered dropped the large stack of plates. They all shattered as they hit the ground, making Eli squeak and hide his face at the noise. I took Silas' throat in my hand, as I pinned him to the wall.
"Adorjan!" Vance shouted as he grabbed my shoulder.
Silas clawed at my wrist and hand gasping for air.
"H-he was gone." My stomach drop as the sentence was spilled from Silas' mouth.
I instantly rushed up to Kalons room, my eyes darted around the room in panic, just as Silas had said he was gone.
There was no sign of Kalon and no sign of me staying calm,
The bedroom patio door was opened as the curtains blew in the wind. It was rainy and cold.
I had a hard time believing he would've left in this weather.
