Kalons pov
I had nothing, but I had to meet my brother.
No cash. I had one hoodie that was already getting soaked.
I had the location on my phone, yet everything else was disabled. I didn't want any of them tracking me.
I wondered how long it would take for them to realize I was gone.
I had a pack of cigarettes in my pocket. I was praying they weren't drenched. I continued to run. I wanted to be far enough from the house.
London streets were dark and flooding with water. I walked in between the buildings we agreed on.
It was dark and hard to see much, but something grabbed my wrist, pulling me further into the darkness, I couldn't see the figure, but I could tell he had a slimmer body type.
"Well, hi, Kalon, it's been a long time..."
He pulled us further into the alley till there was a gap in the makeshift ceiling made out of tarps and ropes.
His face had the same shape as mine. He had the same soft blue eyes. He had a light stubble, though. He was a few years older than me.
"It's been so long..." I whispered. He chuckled, nodding.
"Would you like to go get a drink?" He asked.
"S-sure..." I whispered. I followed him into the bar. The neon lights reflected off the wet stone ground.
Our clothes were soaked in the rain, but I didn't mind. I slightly warmed up my hands and shoved them in my hoodie pocket to warm me up.
We sat at the bar with green neon lights: the whole place and an eerie feeling. Everyone spoke softly. It almost made me feel fake like it was all a dream, or I had to watch my back.

"My name is Andy. What can I get you two?" The bartender was a good-looking male with a buzz cut with jet black hair that was slicked back and buzzed on the sides. He wore a tight black button-up with the sleeves rolled up. His muscles were being cuffed by the shirt, making them bulge. He had a slim black lip ring and many tattoos up his arms. Some were trailing up his neck and collar bone. He was extremely attractive.
We told him what we wanted, and he took the order with a smile.
"So Kalon." He started.
"So, Jones." I copied.
"Where have you been...?" He asked with a smile.
I sighed, "well, I've been in America with aunt Lila, that was till I was sent here to the boarding school. It's uhm my last chance before juvie...." I whispered, avoiding eye contact.
He nodded, taking in my words.
"Where have you been? I thought you were dead."
He chuckles slightly. "Yeah...well, I've been living with my girlfriend here. When I heard you were here, I wanted to catch up with you. After the accident and stuff...."
"Yeah..." I laughed nervously at that comment.
"So, did you get help for it?" I watched as he glanced at his wrist, checking the time.
"For what? My curse?"
"Well, maybe even therapy...killing your parents can be a big deal."
My heartbeat seemed to speed up. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"W-what?" I whispered.
He chuckled, taking a sip of his drink.
I felt my eyelids get heavy, but I was determined to get to the bottom of this.
"I didn't- it wasn't- what do you mean?" I sputtered out. The tension was heavy in the room. I saw the bartender watching from the side of the bar. I felt like everyone's eyes were on me.

It made me sick.
"You don't remember? You don't remember killing them? Ruining my life? You're a murderer, Kalon."
He said coldly. I was struggling to stay awake, and I wasn't sure why.
I was lost. I didn't know what he meant.
My stomach was in my throat. My heartbeat echoed through my ears.
"You don't remember that day? We were driving along, and you got upset at them. You strangled them to death with your bare hands, burning their throat in the process...you're a killer Kalon. That's what you do. Come on, let's get you out of here." He whispered, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. My feet stumbled as I hit the ground, and the room became blurry.
I killed them....?
It was my fault....?
Everything was black.
The red and blue lights I saw when the car had been flipped over, I stood outside the car with my hands behind my back. I didn't remember any of this.
The cops put cuffs around the wrist.
I was shoved into a cop car. When the light returned to my vision, I didn't recognize the room.
It was a small room. I was sitting on a big comfortable chair. The lights were much calmer than the neon lights in the bar.
There was a desk with much paperwork scattered across it. The door handle turned softly as the same man that served us the drinks walked in.
The beautiful man bent down in front of me. He brushed my hair off my forehead, tucking it behind my ears.
"Are you okay?" He whispered.
"I-I think so..." my voice was hoarse. It pained me to speak. He handed me a small plastic cup that was half-filled with water.
I took it; happily. The cool liquid made my throat feel much better.
"Why are you so far from home, bud?" He said quietly. Did I know him? I was confused. I was drugged by my brother, found out I killed my parents, and now this strange attractive man is talking like he knows me.
I must've given it away how confused I was because he chuckled before looking at me.
"Vance will be here to pick you up. Is that okay?"
"Vance?" I furrowed my eyebrows. He smiled at me.
"Vance is my brother...older brother. He's told me much about you. When I saw you here, I was confused about why you were so far, and with that man, I kept a close eye on you. And I'm glad I did." He smiled as he stood up and ruffled my hair.
"But Vance's brother is ugly...you're so hot..." my eyes went wide. "I didn't mean to say that out loud!" I slapped my hand over my mouth. He laughed at me, crossing his arms over his broad chest.
"You're talking about Ian? Yeah...he took a turn after his first wife. I'm the baby of the family. I got all the looks." He winked at me, making a slight blush appeared on my face.
