Vance's pov(I know we just had it, I'm sorry!)
I pulled out my phone and called Terry, because I couldn't believe the things the boy told me.
"Please don't tell me you already need to rehome him..." she groaned into the phone.
"No, I want the exact location you found him, and his past 'guardians.' Because I'm about to kill someone!" I shouted in the phone, as I paced my office.
"I know, I know, Vance...I think we have a home for Silas by the way, it won't be available till next week. Will you last?" She questioned.
I sighed. "I'll make it work. But I'm serious whoever had Blue before is gonna fucking get it!"
"Blue? You named him."
"Yeah, because I'm not calling him a 'slut'!" I said angrily into the phone. I heard her gasp softly at my choice in words.
I scoffed, "that's what I was told his name was."
"I understand, I can continue to update you on his case once we get information on him, mr. Haven." She said quickly. I mumbled a 'good' before hanging up with nothing else.
I stormed back into the kitchen to see my Eli curled up with the small boy on his lap.
"He's gonna be in heat soon...I can read it. His mind...i-it's so unique, it's almost spilt, like there's a wall that is stopping him from thinking freely." Eli whispered with confusion on his face as his hands rested on the boys small frame.
"How soon?" I questioned, I didn't want to force anything on the little one, I would do whatever I could to make him feel comfortable.
"He might already be in it..." he whispered.
"You think he's been hiding it?"

"Could be..." Blues eyes fluttered open as we continued to speak softly.
"Warm..." he said with a smile before nudging himself further against Eli's torso.
"You must be exhausted...C'mere..." I whispered softly slipping my arms around him and carrying him up to his room.
I laid him down and pulled the covers over him, his eyes sleepily scanned the big bed.
"Is everything okay in here?" Declan's head pops into the room. I furrow my eyebrows.
"Yeah, why wouldn't it be?"
"I just smell - I don't know something is off, sorry." He shook his head before walking away.
I glanced back to Blue, before petting the fluff between his ears, he was much softer now that he had a bath.
"Thank you..." he whispered.
"For what?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Being so nice." His eyes slowly shut as I sighed watching him for a few minutes before slipping out of the room.
I had my other boys to worry about as well, I crashed into Kalon as I left Blues room, Kalons face was bright red as Silas' door slammed behind him.
"Is everything-"
"Idontwannatalkaboutit!" He sputtered out before quickly running off to his own room.
Kalons pov
I stormed up to Silas' room, I hoped he would kill me, I was furious what he had done to Adorjan.
I opened the door abruptly his head snapped to me, walking into his room.
"What do you want from me!?" Pain echoed through my voice as he watched with wide eyes.
"At this point...hurt me! Not Adorjan! Please! I'm sorry I exist, and that I make you upset! Just kill me! But leave Adorjan alone..." I shouted loudly.
He just tsked before pushing off his bed and stalking over to me. I didn't realize how much taller he was. I was trying hard to hide how frightened I was.

Silas was at least 6 foot, covered in tattoos, he was decently attractive, but he was a killer...yet again, so was I.
"Kalon, Kalon, Kalon...you're all wrong...this has nothing to do with you being here at all. It's more of...how do I put this...I could treat you so much better than Adorjan, don't you think?" His gloved hand ran down my jawline. Gently wrapping around my throat, making me squeak.
He flipped us around so my heels hit the back of his bed.
"W-what?" My brain spiraled...Silas just wanted me? Not in a killer way?
The thought made my head hurt to think about, he must've seen it on my face too.
"Adorjan needs to learn to value what he has...something he could never do. I'm not gonna hurt you Kalon, and I won't force you to do anything. But consider it. I can play bad guy as well as I play good guy. Don't be afraid to talk to me." He smirked, before turning back to his bed.
I quickly rushed out of his room, my face was hot and I was completely flustered, the outcome was nothing like I expected.
I crashed into Vance's hard chest, I rubbed my head.
"Is everything-" I didn't wanna hear it. It wasn't the time.
"Idontwannatalkaboutit." I didn't even let him finish his sentence before I ran off to my room.
I needed to see Adorjan, I need him...
I took a deep breath and slowly made my way to Vance's office. He raised his eyebrows as I shut the door behind me.
"Can we go see Adorjan?" I whispered and keep my gaze to the floor.
He chuckled. "If you tell me why you were by Silas..."
I sighed loudly. "Fine, I was upset with what he did to Adorjan, but the stuff he told me messed me up!" I whined.
"How so, what did he say to you, flower?" Vance stalked over and held my chin up forcing me to look at him.
I mumbled inaudible words, I knew I wouldn't get out of it, so I might as well buy myself some time.
"Hm?" He hummed.
"He wants me."
Vance's eyebrows raise on his forehead, and he nods.
"Okay...well, Silas is leaving soon, I can't keep him here." I was slightly hurt. I didn't know why...he hurt me, he hurt Adorjan.
But shouldn't we be giving him a chance?
"Is everything okay, Kalon?"
"Hm? Oh! Yeah, can we go see, Adorjan?" I asked softly.
Vance nodded, before an ear piercing scream echoed through the house.
"Shit." Vance mumbled. Before rushing off into the new nekos room.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
