《His Innocent Fox... BoyXBoy》Chapter Two

, my fear shooting through the roof, as I catch sight of three tall silhouettes through the dense trees, and the glowing red eyes that can only be those of Vampires. I slowly scamper back, bumping into Robyn on accident, as the red eyes snap over towards our tree, and I nearly pee myself.
I slowly peek back out, and instantly wish I hadn't. The Vampires, all male by how tall and muscular they are, are heading straight towards us, and they are gaining fast. Without any warning, Robyn grabs my scruff again, and chucks me in the direction that I know too well. Home... We're heading in the direction of home.
' I don't want to Robyn... I-I can't!' I whimper to my brother through link, my ears flat, as I huddle pathetically in the open stretch between the line of dense trees and our home, and stare up at him with huge eyes.
' You do NOT have a choice right now Ravyn! Get your ass up! And lets go! Those Vampires aren't out here taking an evening stroll! They are out here to kill us!' He yells at me, the anger and fear mixed in his loud voice, as he yanks me to my feet with his teeth dug into my scruff, and bares his teeth at me.
I flatten my ears, my eyes still huge, and slowly slink off towards the line of trees. Robyn trots up beside me, and I hear him sigh gently in the link. He hasn't raised his voice to me in... Well ever! I know he's just scared and it's making him angry... But he hasn't screamed at me like that forever.
" I can smell them around here... It's VERY fresh... Spread out! They can't get very far in this darkness..." A voice sounds from behind us, and I jump with sudden fear. Oh Goddess, oh Goddess, oh Goddess! They're looking for us! They're LOOKING for us! Dead! We are SO dead!

' Stay silent Ravyn... We have darkness to our advantage!' Robyn says to me, his voice holding a sudden burst of confidence, as I turn my head to look at him, and give a soft nod in response. I calm myself down with a series of deep breaths, needing my crazy heartbeat to slow down, as I look around, the darkness looking a lot brighter than it should because of Night vision.
We slink through the Woods silently, not making a single sound on the leaf-strewn forest floor below, and finally, after what seems like a tense-filled century, the old house that we grew up in for six years looms up from the darkness... And my heart, the heart that I spent ten years healing again, breaks in mt chest.
' I know it hurts Kit... I know it hurts.' Robyn whispers through our link, and I can hear his voice cracking. I look over at him, tears brimming in my eyes, and slump against him... Half for his and my own comfort, and half because I'm so broken again, that I can barely keep myself up.
We shake out of it, the pain still fresh, as footsteps and whispery voices echo through the Woods behind us, and we race forward instantly. The hole in the front doors near the base is slightly bigger than when we left it, and we slip through it easily.
' It still smells like home...' I whimper out, feeling the familiar ache in my chest, as I look around at the old, yet oh-so-familiar, home, and slowly step up the stairs. Robyn nudges me up them with his snout, his nudging awfully urgent, but I'm far too lost in the memories and the pain to pay any mind. As we get into the dark Corridor, a memory suddenly burts through my mind, and my steps falter instantly.

I snap back to reality, but instantly stumble to the floor with utter shock. I stare at the floor with my heart beating rapidly in my chest, and feel the tears pool in my eyes as I just stare off in shock and heartbreak. That was the day the Vampires came around and ruined our life... We were so happy and carefree that day and halfway through the Night... And then?
" They went in here... Smart little things they are." Oh Goddess...

Arnar the Dungeon
Arnar is a dungeon core. Everybody knows dungeons are evil, man-eating entities hell-bent on killing and absorbing whatever wanders inside their depths. The problem is no one ever told him that. Well, the truth is no one ever told him anything and he refused powers-that-be when they tried to make him into the proper dungeon. That should teach them not resurrect people into dungeon cores. Now it is too late. He has a perfect plan to become the best dungeon on the continent and nothing will stand in his way. Especially something called common sense. Disclaimer of sorts: I am non-native English writer that used to write mostly for himself. After my last computer decided to die on me taking all my works with it I lost the desire to write for quite a long time. This is my attempt to go find motivation to write again as this was my favourite hobby. The idea is to be held accountable. As for being non-native, I don't believe that should be a major issue as I feel my proficiency in English to be sufficient enough to not be too much of the distraction. That said, be forewarned that the rules governing punctuation are beyond my grasp. All I can do is try not to completely suck at that. As mentioned this is an attempt to motivate me to write again so any message, encouragement or constructive criticism will go long way. The cover was created with the help of http://fantasynamegenerators.com/emblem-creator.php I hope you will enjoy my story.
