《His Innocent Fox... BoyXBoy》Chapter Five

louder and closer to the Lounge, and the closer they get, the more fearful I get. The man, who I have yet to learn the name of, jumps up instantly, and strides over to the Archway that leads into and out of the Lounge. I notice, as I follow his every movement, that a white gate blocks the Archway... Preventing me from doing the one thing I have been taught to do over the past ten years... Running.
" Get away from the Lounge you two! The boys are still too terrified and Feral to meet anyone else! You have to go, and tell the others to stay back!" The man growls to the two approaching men, his scary voice making me whimper, as I scoot further back under the chair, and give a small whine of fear.
" Chill out Nikolai! It isn't like we're going to eat them or something! We just came to see them!" A voice responds, finally giving me a name to my Kidnapper, as the man, Nikolai, gives a snort in response, and slams his hand against the archway.
" This isn't a damned Zoo Jemm! Take Jazz, and get back upstairs before I get Jaxx down here to deal with you two! Understood?!" Nikolai growls again, his growling making me close my eyes tightly, as the pair continue to bicker back and forth.
I hear light footsteps approach the chair I'm hiding under, and, moments later, a hand is gently stroking the fur on my head. My eyes spring open instantly, and I freeze with utter terror. My eyes meet blood red orbs, and I begin to tremble.
" Pretty..." The male petting me muses, his voice meek and drawn out, as he continues to caress my head, and gives me a sadistic little smile. So terrified about this Vampire PETTING me and giving me a sadistic smile that pratically screams he's going to murder me, I have an accident.

" Dammit Jazz! Get out of here!" Nikolai growls, and, moments later, the boy, Jazz, is thrown away from the armchair, and I'm left alone once again, with urine pooling around my hind legs, lower abdomen, and tail.
The two Vampires leave, the other one, Jemm I assume, giving an annoyed 'tsk' at Nikolai, and Nikolai kneels down in front of the chair. Too terrified to move, Nikolai stands up with a soft sigh, and moves the armchair away from where I lay huddled in my own pee.
" Oh Angel..." Nikolai sighs, gently picking me up by the scruff, as I give a small whimper of fear, and curl in on myself. Nikolai carries me out of the Lounge, down a Corridor a short ways, and into a pretty Loo. He lays me down on the cold floor, making sure the door is closed, and then turns on the tap. Once the bath is filled, he turns towards me, his sleeves pushed up to his elbows, lifts me up, and gently lowers me into the warmth of the tub.
I stand there, just standing there, as Nikolai dumps the warm water over my body, and begins to scrub me clean with an amazing smelling wash. Once I'm finally all clean, and NOT covered in urine, he rinses me off, and pulls me out of the tub. He wraps me up in a fluffy white towel, sits down on the toilet lid, and begins to scrub me dry.
" I'm sorry you know... I didn't even know Jazz had gotten through." He says softly, his eyebrows raised slightly, as I absently lean into his touch, and gently lick his palm. He gives a small smile at the action, and gently rubs my head with the towel to dry my head.
I give a yawn, feeling tired again, and snuggle against his chest... Seeking warmth from the Vampire who I have accidentally Imprinted on. He pulls me tighter against him, still rubbing at my trembling body, as I place my head on his shoulder near his neck, and begin to nod off.

" Tired again Princess?" He coos gently, caressesing the back of my neck with his long fingers, as I sneeze softly, and gently lick his neck in response. He chuckles at the small action, and carries me back to the Lounge still wrapped in the towel. He stops at the gate, and gently places me down inside the Lounge.
" Stay here and play or something Kit... I'll be back in a little while." He says, ruffling my head, as I look up at him with my eyes wide, and give a small chirp in response. He smiles at me, making sure the gate is closed, before he walks off, and leaves me alone.
Once I can't hear his retreating footsteps anymore, I climb out of the towel pooled around me, shake out my fluffed up, ruffled fur, and begin to look for a way out of the Lounge. I feel a cool breeze ruffle my pelt, and I instantly whirl around to see where it's coming from.
I notice the large Bay window is open slightly, letting in the cold Autumn breeze in, and I instantly race towards it... Wanting to feel the grass against my paws. I remember that Robyn is still trapped in that box thing, and I race over to him.
I paw gently at the door, and yip happily when I see it's unlocked and open. Robyn drowsily raises his head from among the blankets, his coal black eyes meeting mine with a hint of slight confusion, before he seems to realize that it's me, and he jumps to his paws in an instant.
' You're awake! I thought... I thought...' I trail off before I can finish, not able to even THINK of the worse possible outcome for my Beloved brother, as he bolts out of the box thing, and tackles me.
' I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.' He assures me, licking my cheek affectionately, as I nod in response, and gently push him off of me. I pull myself up, and incline my head towards the open window.
Robyn, understanding what I am implying, bounds over to the window with me in tow, and places his paws on the sill. I place my head between his legs, and push up. He gets up onto the sill, with my great assistance, turns around so he's facing me, leans down, and grabs me by the scruff.
He pulls me up onto the sill, gently running his tongue across my ears as an apology for slightly hurting me, and together, we launch out of the window. We hit the ground, barely even hurting ourselves because we were on the first floor, and begin to wildly run around the Garden.
' Did anyone hurt you?' Robyn asks, softly growling, as I pin him down by his shoulders, and tug on his ear with a playful snarl of my own.
' No... Nikolai gave me a bath because this other Vampire, Jazz, scared me so bad I had an accident...' I respond absently, still tugging playfully on his ear, as he gives me a confused look, and pushes me off him.
' Nikolai?' He muses in confusion, his eyes narrowed.
' I-I accidentally Imprinted on him... I don't know what to do Bird! I can't just break an Imprint!' I respond, realization dawning on me, as I begin to tremble pathetically, and let out a pitiful whimper.
' Shhh... Don't worry Bubble... We'll do something...' Robyn assures, but I can hear the uncertainty in his voice, as he gently nudges me, and I see the sympathy in his black eyes.
" Well, well... What do we have here?" Oh Goddess...

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.

Blood and Gold
Having failed to manifest any attunements on the Testing day, Elias is disowned and cast out from his clan, the royal clan of the Holstein kingdom. Unwilling to stay down and to accept the clan's view of unattuned individuals having no power, Elias seeks to grasp onto and change his fate. If he can't move mountains with his fist, can't he at least move mountains of gold? Elias would show his clan and the world that even an unattuned individual is worthy of respect, even that given to the strongest. This is his journey. Darius proved his mettle and showed everyone his potential when he attuned to both the aspects of fire, the royal element, and blood. With a fast-track to general all but guaranteed, the only thing he could have hoped for was for his twin, his dearest brother, to join him by his side. Unfortunately, Elias tested as unattuned, the level that was reserved for weaklings that deserved to be cast out and trampled. Or at least, that's what the clan says. If his brother couldn't hit with the strength of a legend, didn't he just have to hit twice as hard to compensate? Darius would show the weaklings around him just what the apex of diligence and talent looked like. This is also his journey.
