《His Innocent Fox... BoyXBoy》Chapter Nine

in confusion and fear, not exactly understanding the full extent of my injury, only to come face-to face with a very worried Robyn... Who Alec had placed down the same time I had been. I shake my head absently, flicking my blood everywhere, and then look up at Robyn as soon as my pain begins to subside.
" Are you okay?" Robyn asks, worry lacing his voice, as he gently places his hands on my cheeks, and stares at me with concern. I nod my head slowly, waiting for my wound to heal properly, before I gently push Robyn away from me, and pull myself back up onto my feet... Using the desk I had just cracked my head on to assist.
" I don't think you should be up Baby Boy... You could have a concussion." Niko says, but I just wave him off absently, as I get stable on my feet, and slowly drop my hand from the desk supporting me.
" O... Ok---ay... I ca-can do this." I whisper to myself, my eyes narrowed in deep concentration, as I look down at my feet, and slowly take a step. My eyebrows crinkle together in my concentrated state, along with my tongue sticking out from the corner of my mouth slightly, as I take another step forward, and then another.
This action continues, and I'm so deep in concentration, that I don't realize I have made it to Niko, until his arms lock around my waist, and he pulls me into him. I surprise myself by letting out a happy squeal, over-joyed that I had finally walked in my human form after an entire decade, and wrapping my arms around his neck as he pulls me into him.
" You did it! I'm so proud of you Princess!" Niko exclaims, burying his face into my neck, as I giggle happily, and then fall silent as we just embrace each other. After a few minutes, he lets me go, stands me back up, turns me around so I'm facing away from him, and slowly pulls his hands away from my waist.

My eyes instantly land on Robyn, now standing with Alec's support, and I begin to walk towards him with pure determination. I stare down at my feet, watching them intently, as I take step, after step, after step, and a big grin makes its way onto my face as I get closer and closer to Robyn.
" Come on, come on, come on..." I hear Robyn's sweet voice drift into my ears, and I feel even more confident, as I finally make it up to him, and I throw my arms around him with an excited squeal.
" I did it Bird! Did you see?!" I squeak out happily, hugging him tight, as he gives a gentle giggle in response, and hugs me back around the waist.
" I'm so proud of you Bubble..." He whispers into my ear, and I pull back with a grin. He kisses my nose gently, the action making me crinkle my nose slightly, as I place a kiss back on his nose, and then carefully pull away.
" Okay Bird... Now it's your turn... Make proud of ." I say confidently, my eyes shining with love and happiness, as I put my place firmly beside him, and slowly release my hold on his hand.
Alec takes his spot kneeling beside Niko, his eyes, usually stern and emotionless, full of hope and encouragement, as Robyn looks over at me with his stunning blue eyes huge, and then turns his attention down to his dirty feet.
" Come on Little Fox... You can do this." Alec says softly, and that little bit seems to get Robyn even more confident, because he takes his first step, and doesn't even wobble.
He continues taking his steps, making a massive, ear-to-ear grin spread across his face, as he takes step, after step, and finally reaches Alec. Alec pulls the glee-filled boy into his arms, and Robyn surprises me by hugging the usually emotionless Vampire back with a cheerful giggle.

" Lets go get you guys some food... We need to keep that strength up!" Niko says with a soft chuckle, pulling himself up, as Alec nods in agreement, releases Robyn, and pulls himself up as well. Niko walks up to me, a smile still planted on his face, and gently holds his hand out.
I wrap my little fingers around his long index finger, much like a child would do so he wouldn't get lost, and we set off. I look over my shoulder, still keeping pace with the Pureblood, and see Robyn has his index and middle finger looped around Alec's belt loop... Walking beside him steadily.
" You're such a good boy..." Niko praises lovingly, his chocolate brown eyes meeting my dark blue orbs, as I look up at him with my smile still intact, and wag my fluffy tail at the praising.
As we make it into the extremely long, dark Corridor, I skip a little ahead of Niko, my fingers still wrapped around his finger, and give a happy, carefree giggle. Suddenly, a door a bit ahead of us swings open, a tall male steps out, and I stop in an instant.
" Kyson? What's the matter?" Niko asks, stopping beside me, as the male, Kyson, a chocolate-haired, stern-faced, moss green-eyed boy, makes his way towards us, shrugs his shoulders in a silent response to Niko, and then continues on down the Corridor.
We carry on, although my curiosity is still fresh, and finally make it into the nicely lit Landing. I pause instantly, not liking how scary the stairs look, and I feel my normal strike of Anxiety pierce through me like an arrow.
" Do you want me to carry you?" Niko asks gently, noticing my sudden fear, but I bravely shake my head, take a deep breath, and step forward. I slowly take my first step down, but, my fear gets too much to take, and I stop, turn towards Niko, and raise my arms with a whimper.
Niko instantly lifts me up, gently kissing my forehead, places me on his hip, and sets off down the steps. I look back, my head resting on Niko's shoulder, and see Alec holding Robyn as well. As soon as we get down the steps, Niko and Alec place us back on our feet, and we begin heading towards what I assume is the Kitchen.
As soon as we enter, Robyn and myself are completely out of breath, the continuous walking that we aren't used to taking its toll on us, as we both stop in the archway of the bustling Kitchen, and pant harshly. Niko and Alec instantly whirl around to face us, the worry evident on their closely identical faces, as Robyn and myself slowly slide down the wall, and sit on the cold tile floor.
" What's the matter Sweetie?" Niko asks softly, his dark brown orbs full of concern, as he and Alec lean down in front of us, and instantly begin to check us for any injuries. Suddenly feeling crowded, my claws come out, my large ears flatten, my eyes widen to the size of bloody saucers, and I slash my claws through the air... Everything goes silent, even the Kitchen Staff stop what they're doing, and I instantly know why.
I just scratched their King! I'm so dead...
